Levels of care include medical detox, residential, partial hospita | Treatments Programs Payment Options | When I first came to Peaks, I was broken, depressed, hopeless, and completely lost. I truly didn’t believe things could get better. But my experience at Peaks changed my life in ways I never could’ve imagined.
From the moment I arrived, I was surrounded by a community of supportive, caring people who genuinely wanted to see me grow. I built friendships and connections that will last a lifetime, with people who stood by me through every high and low of my recovery journey.
The groups and therapists were absolutely incredible, I learned more here than I ever have in any other program. The structure at Peaks helped me build consistency, confidence, and real progress. The staff went above and beyond every single day, they truly cared about us as people, not just clients.
Even the food was amazing (shoutout to the chefs, you made every meal feel special!). The activities were another huge part of my healing, basketball, pickleball, volleyball courts right on property, yoga, art supplies, gym equipment, hikes twice a week, church, Recovery Dharma, and so much more. There was always something positive and grounding to be a part of.
I am endlessly grateful for my time at Peaks Recovery. This program gave me my life back and gave me the tools, support, and hope I needed to keep moving forward. Thank you to everyone who made my experience so meaningful and life-changing. ❤️

Never thought I would have to post this but the basic necessity of answering a phone call is not the highest priority of this company. I have been calling since Monday trying to get these people of the phone they do not answer and you are unable to leave a voicemail due to the mailbox being full. Many of us do not have the time to go into the office to beg for the front desk to get someone out in the lobby to help with a basic request. Where is the front desk supervisor or is there even one? So upsetting that I cannot rely on my doctors office to answer the phone.

I am very familiar with their program, I know most of the staff, and they know me 😅. I always recommend Sandstone to anyone who needs inpatient care. The team of staff, has always treated me with kindness there. It has meant the world to me, as they’ve seen me in some of my lowest moment's. They are patient, caring and competent. The facilities are nice, with TVs in the rooms and an outdoor space with a basketball hoop. There is always an abundance of snacks, Gatorade and Ginger Ale while you’re detoxing.
The environment is very homey and the small size allows for great individual care, unlike some other facilities where you get lost in the crowd.
I’m so grateful for this place and the people inside it ♥️ If you need the help, you’re in great hands at Sandstone.

I cannot recommend Cascade facility enough. My family and I have tried everything to get help for my child in TN. With shockingly low standards in care, most of which did more harm than good. Therapist that simply didn't process the experience, skill level, or self-control, to be effective. I was sick of being told about deep breathing, a chore chart and consequences would solve everything. Trust your instincts. As a parent, if those things worked, we would not be in this situation! Parents know when something isn't right. Staff at Cascade listened, validated what I said, I was free with ALL of my deepest fears, concerns and frustrations. Without fear of judgment. My child has grown, struggled, listened, contemplated life, set goals, made friendships. As she is getting ready to go home, reports her anxiety and depression as a ZERO with no cravings. When first arriving, her only goal was to get thrown out within a week. As she approached her 45-day mark, she said she really wanted to stay for 60 if she could. My child has been comfortable, safe and understood. The approach was to treat the entire family, staff communicate in real time, every email gets answered, every request for additional time for child or parent gets honored. Sandstone at Cascade has caring, professional staff. If you are exhausted, if you are tired of fighting for your child, if you live in a constant state of fear, and nobody is listening because your child presents well, if you can't keep your kid sober, there is help. Cascade Canyon was the only place that dug deep enough, to make a difference. To all out of State parents who are fearful to have your kid thousands of miles away, don't be. I promise you, it's worth it. Children were allowed to be children, they had their own space, they put pictures up and made their dorm like rooms their own. They were out on hikes, rock climbing, skydiving, they were not trapped, locked down, or dealing with kids that needed a higher, the kids were all dealing with the same type of issues. They were given the opportunity to have fun and see another side of life. If you are lucky enough to get a spot, don't second guess, getting your child quality care, even if they don't like you much at the time, is WORTH it. It gives both family and child a solid foundation to continue to build. Nothing is perfect, this is about as close to it as I have found.

All of the staff that I encountered from the pharmacy, lab and front desk were all really nice and informative considering I just separated. This is for the ATU unit specifically. I don’t even know where to start. So many good things to say! Please stay and read the whole thing. Especially if you’re considering going here. It was so good! I was just here, for a week and the experience was basically like a 5 star hotel! Besides the beds which they can’t change but that’s not their fault. Intake was so welcoming and I was very unsure about going inpatient based on past experiences, but after talking with them, I voluntarily went inpatient. Felt very confident. They have really comfortable chairs, not rock hard that are so uncomfortable to sit in. They have bathrooms outside of the rooms with doors that lock, so you have the most privacy you can get. They allow you to have your phone, which of course is a personal preference for some people as it may be best to get a total break from the outside world. And of course they have rules for using your phone such as no recording or videos or pictures for privacy. But other than that you are free to have your phone all the time. And they have all cords for every kind of phone there is behind the nurse’s desk to charge your phone whenever you want. They have a relaxation room that has a big picture of the beach with palm trees and the ocean, a picture of the Grand Canyon, a recliner, some comfortable chairs, and an exercise bike. Really great to get alone time without having to go in your room. The food is absolutely 5 out of 5! Catering from Springs Rescue Mission, and they take care of each patient. Offering second helpings. They offer round the clock care of course, including snacks whenever. Chips, cookies, milk, orange juice, etc. Unlike a lot of places, they allow patients free roam 24/7 on the unit. Other places there’s a “curfew” and “lights out”. They don’t push you to go to therapy. Of course they encourage you but they really empathize unlike others and understand what you’re going through. They offer that you can ask for one on one talking and processing with any of the staff on duty at any time. There are a few times of being aware of their time like when they are doing staff changes, shift changes, rounding on other patients, etc. But they are very gentle. They also offer yoga mats at request and books you can read freely. As well as a tv room where you can choose what to watch as long as it’s available and appropriate. And listen to music via tv as well. They have games that you can play either by yourself or with other patients. Also, they allow CPAP machines as long as the door is open at night so they can monitor closely to make sure you’re safe. I absolutely loved it here and highly highly recommend it to everyone. Great care! I do not know if the other units are like this. This is just my experience.

These people are just another part of the system that is a business, forcing innocent people to take plea deals to stay in the system and have to pay fees and charges.
My probation officer recommended these people because they will see me the fastest but honestly it's not worth the risk. If it wasn't for the prosecutor actually knowing I was innocent based off the facts I would have had to risk a trial.
The interviewer lied to me, saying she agreed with me and my side of what happened reflected the facts and still gave me a negative report.
Do not put your fate in these people's hands.

Colorado Springs, Colorado | Rocky Mountain Sober Living (RMSL) is a CARF-certified treatment facility in Colorado Springs, Colorado. They offer structured and supportive housing for adults who are struggling with substance abuse. Their recovery homes provide cozy environments that are conducive to healing. They accept Medicaid and can also provide payment options. Community | Treatments Payment Options | I have been a resident of Rocky Mountain Sober Living for almost 6 months, upon my transition to getting my own place. Rocky Mountain gave me the tools and options to explore a routine schedule, goals and activities I never knew were possible, whilst giving me a safe place to stay each and every night. The community may be random at best, but Mike does a great job of vetting and taking care of each and every concern of every resident. 2 rules, stay sober and stay on top of the opportunities and rules to better your life and those around you. I’m beyond grateful for the opportunity and the bonds I’ve made since joining Mikes program and I have/would suggest it to anyone as long as your goal is to stay sober and start living the life you want.
Thank you Mike and Jodi, thank you Ryan and Easy, thank you Heath and Gil. These individuals have opened up new opportunities and have given me the care and guidance I needed and continue to live by their word. I would not be where I am today without them.
PSA: I’ve lived with Felix. If you begin to prioritize your DOC and don’t seek help in the individuals mentioned or your home group, which I’ve found through Rocky Mountain/Purple Mountain. You will not have a good experience. Stay safe and I hope this review helps guide your direction, as it has guided mine.
