Jane is amazing and welcoming and so is Heather. They always remember me and ask about my children, they even offer to watch my infant when I have to bring him for a minute or 2 while I dose. It’s just a small help that makes being a single mom and bringing him to the clinic a little less stressful. (I only come 2 times a month) but nonetheless they do everything they can to help, like every business it is a money making business though so there isn’t charity, you have to follow the rules and expectations and as long as you go by that you’re in & out.

This place is has one major problem, an 80 something year old woman named Anita! Not that they don't have a councilor, even though there supposed to. My husband has been coming for over 10 YEARS. When he does manage to jump through enough hoops to pickup and not come everyday it doesn't last long before Anita will find a reason to make him start coming back EVERYDAY, this time because the writing on the label was rubbed off on the bottle when he come in for a call back, all the medicine was there, just the label was faded. Labels they printed and put on the bottle faded off because there cheaply made, but that's his fault. This woman has ridiculously looked in his mouth after he took his medicine. We've literally never seen anyone but him have to do this, and only Anita wants to. She has made him sit in the waiting room after he's taken it for up to 20 minutes. After this amount of time the other place doesn't have people coming back EVERYDAY but my husband has to, after ten years. The only reason people, including my husband use this place is to get off of drugs. The drugs my husband was addicted to were pills doctors gave him. He's not even on Methadone, he takes Burenorphine, He's always worked a bluecollar job, has never been arrested for anything but this old woman has implied numerous times that she must think he's a drug dealer. If course they took his payment for the coming week before telling him he was back to coming everyday. Anita is the only one there that has ever been rude but just one bitter person will ruin the reputation of the entire clinic. Anyone reading this thinking about coming, if you can go somewhere else, Especially if you're a man.

I will recommend this Christian facility to everyone! There is a family & home type atmosphere that melts even the toughest heart. I learned so much to use in our ministry & God continues to abide with me & teach me new things daily. Penfield uses knowledge, education, personal experiences, fun, day to day work ethics while encouraging personal pride in oneself. I was amazed at the chemical products made available to our young & older alike. Chemical dependency comes in many forms. Social media, mental indiscretions, and so many things sway us today that I feel Penfield helps me understand it from a personal point of view. We attempt to reach out in a good way to those in need & I use so much of the written classroom lessons. But, it has taken me aback at how easily the world can pull us back down. I had a very positive experience at Twin Lakes! The counselors were great and I loved all the techs. I learned much and laughed often. The classes were diverse, interesting and varied. Also, much fun for some of it. There were tears and much shared memories between the clients. I would 100% recommend for a place to have peace while healing your mind and spirit.

I graduated from the carter treatment center today.
I completed the PHP/IOP program and have 195 days sober now. I will be staying for aftercare to continue to work and focus on my recovery.
This program gave me the accountability and tools to be successful and live a life without drugs and alcohol. I am very grateful for the opportunity to come here and all the staff that was supportive and were a big part in my journey.

Mt Sinai was very helpful for my family and our loved one from start to finish. The entire staff was very warm and welcoming. We have been dealing with this for almost 10 years and Mt Sinai actually addressed his underlying issues for the first time ever. I normally don’t do these but I was so impressed with the services I received from Dr. Caldwell at Advantage. He was more concerned about finding out the truth and getting to the root of the problem than anything else. He wasn't trying to push medication on me or bill the insurance. He was more concerned with my health than anything. Would have given him 10 stars if it were an option. But the whole center in itself was a very pleasant experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking for mental health needs!!

Was led into a room and left there. There was a lady on the computer screen. Thought she was client who had been left on the screen. After a few minutes the receptionist came back in and said you have to sit in front of computer. The lady on screen came back on. Looked like she was semi reclined on her couch. Went through list of questions. Volume kept going up and down. Computer has bad echo. Was not a good first impression for any type of counseling. Whole place was noisy and you could here voices from next room.

This center is disorganized, you get moved from counselor to counselor because the staff constantly changes and I never got a call back to get the service, has no customer service skills the front desk talks too fast and unclearly. However, there are few therapists that really worth and are phenomenal in their work, they have a warm inviting feeling.

I had to come into town due to my mom passing away. This place helped me so Much. Other places wouldn't even take me since I was from out of state. They knew why I was here...it being such a horrible thing and how this sort of thing makes an easy recipe for relapse. Yet, still other places sent me away. Crossroads took me in and helped me stay safe and sober. I'm so very thankful for their help. I got in and got my meds very quickly. It wasn't even a long wait. This place..is sincerely a life saver. The staff was so polite and professional. Thank you all so much!!!

I've been seeing Dr A and others on his team for a while now, and most recently have completed TMS for depression following a previous TMS treatment for anxiety.
Both treatments have helped to improve my mood and life significantly, as someone who has persistent depression and anxiety. I feel I can think more clearly, have had less lows in my mood, and overall have started feeling ready to get back into life in a way depression had robbed me of for a long time.
To anyone who is considering TMS or is finding meds to be not helping much as I was, I recommend this treatment, though it is a bit of a commitment it seems very worth it.

After 4 or 5 failed attempts to stop abusing alcohol I wound up at MARR. The day after my 50th birthday. I was extremely upset and disappointed with myself. But something told me that I belonged there. And I made the best decision of my life. To stay there.
I stayed for the mandatory 3 months and then an extra four more.

My time at MARR has fundamentally changed my life. I have a strong foundation in sobriety, many coping tools in my toolbox and a large network of sober men and women who I will forever call friends. I especially love the Professionals Program (ARP) where I participated in Mirror Image classes, working with peers who had overcome their addiction and achieved the life I wanted to be living. I wanted to write a review to say how thankful I am to this facility and the incredible team (special shout out to my therapist Angela and Josh )who work here. Upon arrival I was going through it. From the very beginning the staff welcomed me with compassion, respect, and patience. Not only did they provide incredible treatment- they provided me with a family-like support. I felt understood, safe, and valued.
The therapists and facilitators earnestly listened and helped me navigate through the most difficult time of my life . Thanks to them I made progress and built confidence, learned healthier ways to cope, and began to learn how to love myself. I never felt alone, and felt encouraged and cared for each and every step of the way.
