Chairs sit too low. Staff friendly. Provider and assistant very knowledgeable of their expertise. They listened to my concerns and provided feedback that I could understand. Only problem was wait time after I was finished with registration and I completed my registration paperwork online. Therefore, my registration was to only pay my copay. In a very short period of time after arriving, I was told I need to be admitted to the ICU c of Diabetic keto acidosis ( a very serious & life threatening condition) of 550 mg/dl blood glucose level . They helped me recover and get the help I needed when it came to ADHD, OCD, Bipolar, anxiety, and clinical depression. They helped me reach my normal baseline. To feel normal again without any suicidal thoughts or ideations after discharge and only felt sick on discharge day due to side effects from the medications that were subscribed to me. The nurses I had were amazing they were so kind and helpful. I luckily had a good experience and the food and sweet tea was amazing because I remember saying as the patient that Walton county Piedmont had nothing on them with the sweet tea. I just do know the nurses, social worker, and doctor those that I had were amazing and good at what they do with patients like me that were mostly at risk for harming themselves but would never harm anyone they did make me feel understood and as a person instead of subhuman so I felt comfortable being open and honest. Since the trust was built and now due to these people I have an amazing psychiatrist, therapist, and case manager. The only thing I did not like was not being in constant communication with my friends and family but I was able to communicate with some just not all like I needed. I do also want to thank Dr wright for what he did for me the plan works long term like it’s supposed to. Overall I had a good stay and it felt like a vacation. I know it made me love watching shows and movies again, music, coloring, journaling, reading, and puzzles. Thank you for helping me. Ive ALWAYS gone above and beyond to help, which is why I can say that ERIC assessed my dilemma for what it was and did his best to move Heaven and earth for me to get me the help i needed 2 days ago. He had an entire queue to help and he took my case as personal as was needed to help me. Moving here I have to change my Medicaid to Ga. which is NOT ez or quick. And I, having heart disease and 5 stents in my heart from 2 heart attacks. Short version of of i didn't get help and go into withdrawl the strain on my heart would no doubt KILL me. The man devoted most of his day trying to get my situation straightened out. Im detailing this because I want you to know this was the BEST service ive ever received in my 60 plus years on this planet, and it happened when my literal life was on the line. Healthqwest cant be beat if you want genuine effort with your help. The prices are competitive but you can't go wrong using them. Ill answer any question or comment too. The medication I take is no joke. I take it for a broken back I got when I was year ended on my motorcycle at a red light. I take it for Pain mgmt. Its a serious subject and serious things happen with it....and more without it. Id be crippled, so you can see the magnitude of my plight. Eric knew and did everything he could. Sean made the intake process feel comfortable and helped ease so much of the fear and anxiety I had coming in. Jay also went above and beyond to help me with supplemental needs like food assistance and getting my Social Security card, which meant so much during such a difficult time in my life. What stood out to me most was how genuinely caring the staff is. Southeast provides so much support during treatment — transportation, cleaning supplies, weekday lunches, and most importantly, a safe environment where you can truly focus on recovery. Many of the techs and group leaders are in recovery themselves, which makes a huge difference because they truly understand what clients are going through. All of the housing and clinical techs are incredible, and I especially want to thank Jenn, Tracy, Edwin, Avery, and Kevin for the support and kindness they showed me. Cookie and Wendy made a lasting impact on me during my time there and still do today. They truly care about the clients, create a supportive and safe environment, and always brought compassion, encouragement, and positivity when I needed it most. The groups were incredibly helpful, especially those led by Cassandra and Jimmy, who both bring real experience, honesty, and compassion into their work. My therapist, Carlie, has also been such an important part of my recovery journey. She has been patient, understanding, and genuinely invested in helping me grow and heal. All of the therapists are wonderful, but I definitely wanted to give mine a special shoutout! I’m so grateful to still be working with her while transitioning into outpatient and sober living. The nurse practitioner and Len also went above and beyond to make sure my individual needs were met and that I felt genuinely supported every step of the way.
