They helped me recover and get the help I needed when it came to ADHD, OCD, Bipolar, anxiety, and clinical depression. They helped me reach my normal baseline. To feel normal again without any suicidal thoughts or ideations after discharge and only felt sick on discharge day due to side effects from the medications that were subscribed to me. The nurses I had were amazing they were so kind and helpful. I luckily had a good experience and the food and sweet tea was amazing because I remember saying as the patient that Walton county Piedmont had nothing on them with the sweet tea. I just do know the nurses, social worker, and doctor those that I had were amazing and good at what they do with patients like me that were mostly at risk for harming themselves but would never harm anyone they did make me feel understood and as a person instead of subhuman so I felt comfortable being open and honest. Since the trust was built and now due to these people I have an amazing psychiatrist, therapist, and case manager. The only thing I did not like was not being in constant communication with my friends and family but I was able to communicate with some just not all like I needed. I do also want to thank Dr wright for what he did for me the plan works long term like it’s supposed to. Overall I had a good stay and it felt like a vacation. I know it made me love watching shows and movies again, music, coloring, journaling, reading, and puzzles. Thank you for helping me. I really appreciated the ability to isolate in my room, unlike other facilities that lock the rooms during the day. That was a necessity for me as an autistic person, in order to prevent overwhelm and truly feel safe. Therapy groups could be stressful, but I wasn't forced to attend which I really appreciate. The food is prepared fresh EVERY meal by actual trained Chefs. Not only do they serve amazing food, they genuinely care about the clients. This plays a HUGE part with clients getting the nutrients they need to heal and grow. I enjoyed every meal and conversation with them. The staff to client ratio here is the best I have experienced at this level of care. All of the staff from the techs, nurses, counselors, clinical directors, providers, and admissions do their job well. They ACTUALLY care about the clients and get to know them personally. My Counselor was absolutely amazing. He helped me out more than he could know. I also had my moments with stress and frustration. It was handled with understanding and empathy, rather than judgement or punishment. Thank you brother, I am very grateful we met. My medication provider got to know me on a personal level and they listened to my situation and needs. THEY ABSOLUTELY DO NOT OVERPRESCRIBE or make you suffer with a poor taper. It was a breath of fresh air after previous experiences. My medication that was prescribed helped me stabilize and improve my mood and experience. I plan on staying on the prescribed medication and continuing my psychiatric care. Aldo the techs do an amazing job. They are on the front lines night and day with new admission patients. They actually get to know the clients and participate in their recovery as well. Some of them even participate in activities with clients. They deal with a lot at times and they handle it professionally and with compassion. The nurses also got to know me on a personal level. They genuinely care about the clients needs and well being. Medication time was always warm and welcoming. Also sometimes I would discuss any issues I was having and they would listen. I had a cardiac emergency from a genetic heart condition and the nurses worked hard to stabilize me. IT LITERALLY helped save my life. I am beyond grateful for this. 🙏 Tomorrow is my last day here after a 30 day stay. I can honestly say I will miss the staff and food from here. If you stay in GRATITUDE you can heal and grow here. We all have our moments, that is what recovery is. Learning to stick and stay with the plan, even when all you want to do is run! The staff here helped see me all the way to the finish line. I can honestly say I am very grateful to have come here. I celebrated 10 years no drinking this year, but there is more work to do 💪. Thank you Sunrise Staff, you helped me more than you know. I am speaking from a grateful heart. I am actually sad to leave and that says a lot about the staff I met here. They helped me heal and grow. Now it is time to put to work what I learned during my stay. ❤️‍🩹 Main Main 2 weeks ago I had a very positive experience at Sunrise Detox. Jeff Hamilton is an amazing counselor. He genuinely cares, listens, and has a way of helping you look at things differently without making you feel judged. Nate and Lawrence are also amazing chefs. The food was consistently good, and that may sound like a small thing, but when you're going through detox and having a difficult time physically and mentally, having good meals really does make a difference. The techs, nursing staff (Howard, Justin, Denise, Joi, Lisa, LeAnn, Beth, and Millie the Wonder Dog), and nurse practitioners (Brooke & James) were also very good. I felt like the majority of the staff truly cared about the people they were helping and understood how difficult detox can be. Detox is obviously not somewhere anyone wants to have to go, but the people at Sunrise made a very difficult situation much more manageable. I especially want to recognize Jeff, Nate, Lawrence, and Brooke for the impact they had on my experience. I am very grateful for the care and support I received while I was there. And I, having heart disease and 5 stents in my heart from 2 heart attacks. Short version of of i didn't get help and go into withdrawl the strain on my heart would no doubt KILL me. The man devoted most of his day trying to get my situation straightened out. Im detailing this because I want you to know this was the BEST service ive ever received in my 60 plus years on this planet, and it happened when my literal life was on the line. Healthqwest cant be beat if you want genuine effort with your help. The prices are competitive but you can't go wrong using them. Ill answer any question or comment too. The medication I take is no joke. I take it for a broken back I got when I was year ended on my motorcycle at a red light. I take it for Pain mgmt. Jay also went above and beyond to help me with supplemental needs like food assistance and getting my Social Security card, which meant so much during such a difficult time in my life. What stood out to me most was how genuinely caring the staff is. Southeast provides so much support during treatment — transportation, cleaning supplies, weekday lunches, and most importantly, a safe environment where you can truly focus on recovery. Many of the techs and group leaders are in recovery themselves, which makes a huge difference because they truly understand what clients are going through. As the legal guardian of my adult daughter, it has been difficult finding the right help that i am comfortable with to help her on her road to recovery but my recent experience with Ridgeview institute Monroe has been a positive one. I spoke with several behavioral therapists to get an update on my daughter, and they were all very professional, but Coresa Thomas took her duty of care to a higher level that I did not expect. She literally went above and beyond what I think is normal considering her workload to explore every possible resource and placement option for my daughter, maintaining consistent communication with me and acting as a true advocate for our family. And she is a great listener with relevant questions and encouraging responses. She said she would call me back with an update, and that is exactly what she did. It is impressive that she can manage her workload especially considering I am sure there are many more cases like my daughter that she is handling and my family recognizes that she, including the rest of the team, does not have an easy job and we appreciate everything that you do especially in today's world. In addition, she helped manage the process to place my daughter at a different provider for continuation of care and this took a load off of us because we interviewed several providers and got the run around - so I would imagine Coresa and her team had to do the same thing. She did not ask for a review, which is surprising, so I took it upon myself to ask her if it was ok for me to write a review on her level of services. My experience with Coresa at Ridgeview Institute Monroe should be written up as a "best practice" for other providers / institutions to follow as a standard of duty of care for working with those of behavioral and mental health challenges. Navigating behavioral health challenges for a loved one is one of the most difficult experiences a parent can face. From the moment I began working with Coresa, her professionalism and heart shone through. In healthcare, it is rare to find someone who not only performs their job with exceptional competence but also brings profound empathy to every interaction. Coresa’s tireless efforts, transparency, and genuine care have given me and my daughter's mom a tremendous peace of mind during a critical time.
