My primary care provider of 25yrs. recently retired. It was difficult knowing that I had the task of finding a new medical provider while at the same time I made the decision to change my medical insurance plan. I read so many bio’s of potential doctors and I don’t know how many reviews. It was all so overwhelming. Out of frustration I took a chance and made an appointment with Dr. Paul Allen and Horizon Health Care. The office waiting area was extremely clean, uncluttered and the reception staff very welcoming at check in. Dr. Allen was kind, gentle and very soft spoken. He took time with my examination and to go over my medical history with me and never did I feel like I was being rushed. I’ve seen Dr. Allen twice and Patricia Gray-Smith, NP once. Each visit has been a pleasant experience. Everyone has always been very kind and professional and I feel as if they truly care about my well being and in keeping me healthy. I think that I’ve made a good choice in selecting Horizon Health Care for my medical care needs.
