Inpatient is recovery focused professional services and staff. friendly environment and help to those who need it is the priority. Good speakers come in good meetings are held . IOP services are professional and have great topics for all aspects of recovery

My son has been struggling for years and has been to several rehabs. Some bad some great. He's currently at this one and I have seen such a huge difference in him! He is making healthy plans for the future and is full of hope again! He loves that they get to go outside for basketball and the other clients act like family. I like that it's separated with men on one unit and ladies on the other. Having been through treatments myself, I know this is crucial. My son has nothing but good things to say about this facility and I can definitely see the positive change, as can our family. We thank you 🙏❤️

I'm an alcoholic, have been for years. I got treatment before I decided to give the Gateway, Iopc,a try. Im not religious and religion isnt pushed at GateWay Iopc, which is why i gave it a try. My Dr suggested it so I decided to do that treatment after my detox. Also my counselor Dan in the Joliet office is a great counselor. I, like most people are closed off when going thru this process. Eventually you will begin to open up when you see there is several other people dealing and going thru a similar situation as yourself. And believe me Im the most closed off person there is. You may not agree with all of it, as I didn't, but there are parts that's help. Everyone is dealing with something different and everyone is affected differently. Focus on yourself and don't let outside influences stop you from what you want.

It was a great group with great discussion. Very great counselor Dan K. that crafted a positive outlook on current situations and made it clear on how to handle things moving forward. And really made it fun!

Had a great experience at the Joliet facility for IOP.

Stepping Stones is a wonderful treatment center. You get back what you put in. The staff are wonderful and have treated me with nothing but respect. IRT was great. And the MEC is what you make of it.

Would recommend them over Care Clinics any day— very nice and easy to schedule an appointment.

It took a little over a week for them to first get in touch, but genuine apology was expressed and it seemed like unique circumstances. The evaluation process with Shelley was along the lines of what I expected. Having given thorough histories for other reasons before, I did not find it to be overly invasive. Thorough, not overly time- consuming. Fact- focused, not judgmental. At the end of the evaluation, I was told it may take a week to hear anything. It took longer, but I've my attorney reached out to remind Tools For Life, the response was prompt. Can't give five stars yet because I am still waiting for the last phase of this process to be completed, but so far good people to work with.

Steve helped my daughter with the early intervention counseling program. He made the program relatable to her situation and really helped her understand the outside influences. She successfully completed the program and is still making the right choices and cutting people off that can effect her sobriety.

Glen oaks really help me through my struggles and if your looking to send your kid here I highly recommend the staff were very supportive and they help me graduate on time..When I came to them I was at a freshman level which was 2019 and I graduated on time in 2021 as I was supposed to so I can highly say they are the best

This school should be the model of how we do education in America. Our son is on the spectrum and went from being bullied and failing public high school to being supported and nurtured while thriving academically when he started at Glen Oaks. All the teachers and supporting staff are experts at what they do and will help your student learn no matter what the challenges. If you're searching for a school for your student, stop looking and send your student to this school. We are fortunate we have this school in the Chicagoland area, wish they would open a college!

I categorically recommend GlenOaks Therapeutic Day School to parents for children who are struggling with social emotional issues. 

For our son, with his then severe separation and other anxieties, as well as some learning disabilities, it made all the difference in his having a good and happy childhood, and to his having progressed normally into adulthood. It provided him with the support he needed from 3rd grade through his junior year in high school, when he then very successfully mainstreamed into our very good public high school. And, because of GlenOaks, our son was able to go on to to a very successful college experience, including doing very well in his college’s honors academic program, and being a leader in college activities. GlenOaks provided our son with the safe and supportive atmosphere that he needed to work through his issues, while still allowing him to be learning and taking part in other normal day-to-day childhood school activities. These included art, music, and sports, none of which he would have done had he not been at GlenOaks. Further, had our son been in a traditional school, we’re sure that his anxieties would have caused him to be targeted by bullies. And we’re quite sure that that would have exacerbated what was already our son’s diminishing self-confidence and happiness. In contrast, at GlenOaks TDS, he was not bullied, and gained great satisfaction in and confidence from the successes that he had as he progressed through the school’s activities, curriculum and behavioral support programs. We were always impressed with the quality, abilities and commitment of each of the teachers at GlenOaks TDS. They understood our son’s challenges and were always kind while firm in helping him, providing him with an understanding of his struggles and ways to overcome them, a piece at a time. Our son learned self-advocacy skills there that have been integral to his continued and growing successes in his five years since leaving GlenOaks. We have nothing but respect for the GlenOaks TDS program, including the two administrators who founded and still run the school; the other administrators; and the outstanding and committed teaching staff. Because of his time at GlenOaks TDS, our son today is a self-confident, well-rounded, solid, enjoyable adult, as well as a responsible and compassionate person.

They genuinely care about each and every person and this world would be a better place if there were more people like Christine and Tori. It is hard to admit when someone is going through a rough time but they provide the light some people need to find their way back to the path of better days to come.

New Vision Counseling in Downers Grove is an excellent counseling service. Tori Medina is my counselor and I recommend her whole heartily. She is Straightforward and Honest. She has been very helpful to me and still is helping me. Great work !

Excellent, caring nursing staff. The most compassionate person I encountered was as member of the housekeeping staff. She gave me sage advice and was actually there when I was very low. Good food. I had a great roommate. Nice social blend. Decent psychiatrist but he was quick to recommend the shock therapy treatments. I mean, we'd talked for 15 minutes and he'd recommended it. That was not for me. I recommend this facility to anyone needing assistance on mental health or addiction issues.

I can't say enough good things about Dr Andrew Phillips who has been incredibly helpful with helping me understand, and guide me through, some past experiences while continuing to support who I am as a person today. He made me feel comfortable from day one, is very open in sharing his own experiences and is incredibly skilled at offering solutions that help deal with anxiety. The staff at In Step are always helpful and very kind also! If you go to In Step be sure to ask for Andrew!

I highly recommend In Step! The front office staff are efficient and friendly and I never have a problems getting in touch with them when I need to make or change an appointment, or request a medication refill. I've been working with Andrew and Joe since October 2024 and they are an incredible med management/therapy team. Kind, empathetic, thorough, outcome-focused, and patient-centered.

Dr. Georgina Rao is an amazing psychiatrist. She listens to what you are going through once she knows she will treat you and ask you questions so she comes down with the tools to help you move forward in a positive way. It’s different for every individual has for me, it has taken a long time. I still have my moments and she understands that as well. I would recommend Doctor Rao to anyone if they will ask me. So I gave her a five star.
