Boca Recovery was my saving grace. I was given the ultimatum that if couldn’t get clean from alcohol and marijuana, then I would be removed from my children’s lives and have no chance of getting custody back. As an addict I just didn’t see me able to do this alone. I Google searched top rehabs in Oklahoma, and came across Boca Recovery. When I spoke to a recruiter they informed me that the facility was not in Oklahoma, but he told me not to panic. If I was ready, then all I had to worry about was making sure I was going to board on my scheduled flight. It seemed too good to be true, but sure enough they delivered and made sure I made it there safely. As soon as I stepped foot into the facility the staff treated me with the best care. Not only that, but the facility was very well maintained. You’re seen by a nurse the first day, and they set you up with everything you’ll need for the detox process. All therapist and case managers work together to build the best treatment plan that suits the patient/client. Not to mention the food they provide is amazing! Thanks to Boca recovery I have passed every UA since I’ve been out, and am able to be involved in my children’s lives again. Before arriving to Boca I didn’t see any of this being possible. Highly recommend to anyone struggling with addiction!

BOCA saved my life. It offered me safety, stability, and daily expectations that I needed desperately. From the first day of entering the program the techs were welcoming, understanding, and supportive which eased my anxiety and allowed me to relax. The clinical staff I worked with is amazing and they helped me begin to understand why I needed to be there and pushed me to see that I also deserved happiness and peace of mind. The community that was created during my stay is one that is with me for life. Lifelong friendships have been created and we stay in touch to this day which has been critical for my sense of belonging. They have been opening their doors to people with substance abuse problems, the homeless, and armed forces veterans for decades now. The healing place is a wonderful center for recovery serving men of every walk of life during and after recovery and / or displacement. They offer a myriad of program to assist those in need as well as access to many other program outside of their own that they are partnered with. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner served daily, lunch being open to the public, while the others are for residential clientele. Nightly shelter available upon request, as well as long term residential services to those who qualify. The facility also offers a program for specifically for military veterans on the second floor that works in conjunction with the VA to help veterans in need gain access to the benefits they require. I personally appreciate the VA program at the healing place immensely, and have been fortunate enough to have received their assistance in the past. One day at a time…

Journey Pure has definitely been an essential part of my recovery journey… I was fresh out of a 30 day treatment center and knew I needed to do more to ensure the success of my recovery. I was referred to Journey Pure… the first few months were more intensive, which helped set a foundation for the mental health maintenance I do today.
I loved my initial therapy sessions with Bri, and my current therapist, Alexy, is just as good. I highly recommend Journey Pure if you are serious about wanting what’s best for your mental health and wellbeing! There’s no time like the present (:

Honestly when I walked in this place I thought it was gonna be like the multiple other places I've been. And as I expected the 1st communication was with my 1st therapist who didn't work for me. The office manager Megan immediately got me switched over to another therapist who is better. Megan has gone above and beyond for myself and multiple other people that I have spoke with since starting there in April. I also would like to say that the lab technician Desiree is always a bright spot in my day when I come in. And finally the doctor Chris has been always willing to listen when needed and speak wisdom to me when needed
Over all I would recommend this place to anyone who is completely ready to live a better life and have the support necessary to achieve this.

I was scared to death to go to a rehab but I knew I needed the help because I had tried so many times on my own and failed. They knew how nervous I was and the whole staff made me feel so at home. I mean EVERYONE is so good and compassionate to you. It's just amazing that I felt at home with family that cares and loves you. I honestly miss being there with all those awesome workers/friends. Listen, I've been reading some of these reviews and jeez.. I can only speak of my experiences, though. I was very compelled to do good in the teenage unit. It was a wide variety of people, all needing different things, but when I was there all anybody really needed was for someone to walk them through how to cope with how they felt. All of the patients there always had each other's back when I was there. The nurses were phenomenal, and so were the techs. They do care, I remember on my second admit, Linwood would try to avoid me being in a dirty room to sleep/stay in. Brooklyn is very easy-going, and funny. She is very quick to react to a code though. Emily is an amazing person, funny, strong, quick-witted. I will never forget these staff members for believing in me. Grimace, Brooklyn, and Emily, thank you for everything, I'm not sure I would be where I am today if it wasn't for you guys. Linny, you might not show it like the female techs do, but I was really touched when I found out the thing about the bedroom situation. I cried, it wasn't like I thought you didn't care, it was just a "little thing", you know? Anyway, thank you, I don't think I'll ever forget any of you. I am now 5 months clean of SH and SI thoughts. All my love is with you guys. :)

The staff in unit 1 were very attentive to needs and care on every shift . I left feeling cared for and highly informed about emotions and how to handle them. I left feeling like my light as a human was restored.

I attended this group therapy program starting in February and graduated just last Friday after four life-changing weeks. I came in at one of the lowest points in my life—barely able to get out of bed, struggling with daily panic attacks, depression, and no sense of direction. Now, I have a job, a proposal under my belt, structure in my day, energy, and real goals I’m working toward.
The environment was safe, clean, and calming. Cindy made her room feel like a haven—with dim lighting and a sense of ease that helped me feel instantly comfortable. We were always in a clean space with access to snacks, juice, coffee, and water, which was such a thoughtful touch that made a big difference.
Group therapy ran Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM. They even provided transportation if you didn’t have a way there, which was such a relief. Every day started with meditation, stretching, and a group check-in, followed by meaningful lessons that truly stuck. That consistency helped me rebuild trust in routine and connection.
Cynthia Ward deserves special recognition—she’s a compassionate, relatable, and incredibly insightful therapist. She took my messy, overwhelmed thoughts and helped me make sense of them with grace and understanding. Her presence and kind soul have left a lasting mark on me.
I also want to give an honorable mention to Voss, Amanda, Kathy, and (possibly Annette—I can’t quite remember the name!) who helped manage the group with care and quick action when conflict arose. They created a space where I felt seen, safe, and heard.
If you’re struggling with mental health and don’t know where to turn—go here. This program gave me my life back.

This place is amazing. From the doctors to the receptionist everyone is so kind even with all the patients they have they greet each one by 1st name that means alot to me.. I have been other places where your j u St a number and money to them this place isn't like that they actually care... I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to get clean.

Coming from a background of a life mired by addiction and trauma I have had more experience with counselors than I care to admit on here haha but very few have went the extra mile that Mandy, one of GWRL’s therapists has. I truly have nothing but good things to say about all the staff all around, but for her you can see that this is more than a job. She’s one of the lucky few that has turned a passion- in her case a passion and commitment of being of service to others-into a vocation and it’s my opinion that GWRL is beyond blessed to have someone who can bring that kind of energy and skill set to the table.
