I believe that this place offers a great service to the Louisville Community. They have been opening their doors to people with substance abuse problems, the homeless, and armed forces veterans for decades now. And I think it's great that they were able to open their new and bigger facility recently. That just means they are able to help more people.

The healing place is a wonderful center for recovery serving men of every walk of life during and after recovery and / or displacement. They offer a myriad of program to assist those in need as well as access to many other program outside of their own that they are partnered with. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner served daily, lunch being open to the public, while the others are for residential clientele. Nightly shelter available upon request, as well as long term residential services to those who qualify. The facility also offers a program for specifically for military veterans on the second floor that works in conjunction with the VA to help veterans in need gain access to the benefits they require. I personally appreciate the VA program at the healing place immensely, and have been fortunate enough to have received their assistance in the past. One day at a time…

My dad goes there, and i couldn't ask for better doctors for him. The facilities are nice and clean, and my Dad loves his doctors there. We travel an hour to get there and they are usually always right on time! He is 75 and they treat him with the utmost respect! I didnt like my therapist at first, she talked to me more as a mental issue then a person, but I ended up transfering to a different therapist because my old one got a promotion and shes the nicest person ever, we actually bond over common intrest rather then just talking about my mental heath and what's going on in my life and I find her very fun and easy to talk to.

Boca recovery was a magical experience during a very difficult time that will always hold a special place in my heart. From top to bottom, the support of staff is second to none.
Tyler and Carrie, Carter, Alexx, Ashley, Brooke, Michelle, Meagan, and the rest of the techs are phenomenal. My therapist January opened my eyes to perspectives I had been missing my entire life and Justin the case manager worked tirelessly from the start all the way until his wife gave birth on my last day to make sure I was set up for success.
The nurses are amazing and the medical attention someone needs during this portion of their recovery is 110% offered around the clock.
The place has everything you need from a gym to recreational activities, spacious beds with luxury amenities. And one cannot go without mentioning the chef, Tim. You won't find better "rehab food" and conversation.
I owe a thank you to the director John for his efforts to get me into a great program after my stay was over.
To anyone struggling with with mental health and/or addiction, I cannot shout praises loud enough for what this program has to offer each and every client that walks through those doors.

Staff is absolutely tremendous, and was a vital part of my recovery. The executive director Kelly Brown is extremely professional and beyond helpful. The facility is beautiful and kept immaculate. MY NAME IS Ron Hamilton And i have to say these counselors and Staff helped me get over my addiction as of last week I got my 7 month chip for being Drug free And being there for 3 weeks in April I took what my counselors taught me you have to want it and remove your self from people places and things I have to thank Mona , Jeff for believing in me and supporting me and all the counselors and Staff.
