I drove by Avenues yesterday and it made me reflect on how far I ve came since leaving there in November. Today marks 160 days in recovery and since leaving avenues, I ve moved into a new place, got a new job, got a new car, started repairing relationships, working on my steps and most importantly, I have all my babies back home. This week is spring break for my kids and I m able to take them on vacation. We re currently in Nashville for the next couple of days and I just get to enjoy my time with them. I know without avenues and all the amazing staff, I wouldn t be where I am today. There were so many awesome staff members that cared and took the time to talk, I know a few times I thought about leaving but glad I didn t and am glad everyone who talked to me. I wish I remembered all their names but I don t. I ve been to another avenues about a year and a half before going to this one and I have to say hands down this one(Clarksville) blows the other one out of the park. From the staff to the food to how the program is laid out, they care and will go the extra mile. I only wish I lived closer so that way I could work there once I hit my year. I will always remember the kind hearts of those that work here. This place got me my life back and I know my kids are thankful for that.

There are some amazing facilitators at avenues recovery in Clarksville who understand what I was going through and helped me understand what recovery was all about. Avenues helped me better understand myself and helped me make an aftercare plan so that i can remain sober. I recomend Avenuse to anyone who is serious about getting sober and staying sober.

I really enjoyed my stay. Top notch care from people that will demonstrate love during you first step towards sobriety.

As a veteran, I really appreciate it

LAC was great. I participated in the evening groups through zoom, which I originally had reservations about. Even though the meetings were online, they were still very engaging, informative, and personal. The therapist and case manager were incredible. They were both very authentic and supportive, and they were easily available when we needed them. I am very appreciative and grateful for this program.

I ve had great success with the individuals i ve sent to LAC. I ve been impressed with the smooth Admissions process in the stressful situations. The compassion they receive after arriving and the level of care is as good as anywhere out there. Most definitely will continue to use LAC

I have nothing but positive things to say about LAC. I went there not expecting too much and I left there with what feels like a family. Everyone is so nice and extremely down to earth. You will be in good hands at LAC

Place isn't the worst and isn't the best, but alot better than most other places in Louisville. People get mad because they constantly still get high or get in trouble for taking benzos with their methadone. So they get on here and talk bad. This place has helped me more than anything, now I'm going on 9 months sober from opiates for the first time since I've been an addict from the age of 18.

This is the BEST place I've been to for help. They treat you with the respect that we Addicts deserve, I feel good to be able to talk about this place it changed my life, Thanks so very much Ladies an Gents. I ALREADY HIGHLY recommend it, an will in My future.

I have read the reviews and here's mine. I have been at CBH/BHG for 7 years now and without them I would not be here. I honestly believe this. I started when CBH was a stand alone company and have stayed thru the merger. So, with anything there are things that I like and don't like. However, for me this is what works and the people I deal with once every 2 weeks are wonderful and caring. I've never (knock on wood) had any issues with my drug screens and the one time my kidneys weren't working properly and I lost my take homes for 2 months was strictly so they could monitor the way my body was melatbolising the methadone so I didn't go into withdrawal or anything like that. Every nurse, DR, and staff member have always given me and my husband (been going for 9 yrs) anything we've asked for with our records and have been super supportive. Just last week, we were told by not 1 but 3 different employees that 1 person went to bat for me about what they said was an unpaid balance on my account saying they knew we would either pay it or it was a mistake because I always pay whatever I am told. Due to this the director took the unpaid amount off my acct because of this amazing woman fighting for me. I understand that yes they are corporate owned but if u have made up ur mind to lay down the life that brought u here all u have to do is the work they ask u to do and that's it. I go in, dose, get my 2 week take homes and leave. Once a month, I speak to my counselor and once a month I do my drug screen (which is either urine or mouth swab). I was on drugs for 20 yrs and I knew when I started I would be taking this slowly so I didn't relapse, but that's on me not them. They ask me all the time, if I want to taper and I tell them the same thing. I will when I'm ready! This clinic has given me the help I needed to work a full-time job that I love and be the wife and mother that my husband and children deserve. So, if u chose to go here, give it a chance! If this one isn't for you, try another one that offers the same thing but services that might work better for u.Good Luck, God Bless and please if finally get to that "enoughs enough" point, get help but make sure you're ready to lay it all down when u walk thru the door.

I owe a Debt to the Healing place Saved My Life

I believe that this place offers a great service to the Louisville Community. They have been opening their doors to people with substance abuse problems, the homeless, and armed forces veterans for decades now. And I think it's great that they were able to open their new and bigger facility recently. That just means they are able to help more people.Keep up the good work THP, And God Bless...

The healing place is a wonderful center for recovery serving men of every walk of life during and after recovery and / or displacement. They offer a myriad of program to assist those in need as well as access to many other program outside of their own that they are partnered with. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner served daily, lunch being open to the public, while the others are for residential clientele. Nightly shelter available upon request, as well as long term residential services to those who qualify. The facility also offers a program for specifically for military veterans on the second floor that works in conjunction with the VA to help veterans in need gain access to the benefits they require. I personally appreciate the VA program at the healing place immensely, and have been fortunate enough to have received their assistance in the past. One day at a time

I am very pleased with the way the director, my counselor, the nurses, and the guards have conducted things with covid19! I appreciate everything they have done to keep us safe! It has been wonderful to get additional take homes! I have been on methadone a long time and often worried what would happen in an event such as natural disaster...it feels good that we are being taken care of! It is also very nice that they are doing everything they can to help us with insurance issues during this time!I am happy about the app too! Thank you.

Have been a patient at Crossroads since July 2019... When I first started there the lady that ran the place didn't know what she was doing and most of the time you had to wait. Then after going there about 6 months the wait times to get dosed was really ridiculous, 2, 3 + hours to dose. Well Now there is someone new running the place for a few years now. He cares about the facility and the patients. The waits times are way down, reasonable wait times, the staff there now is more friendly and the place has been completely remodeled. Looks more like A professional Healthcare facility. The people there treat you like everyone should be treated and not like your just a nobody because you are or were an addict. I don't know where I'd be if it weren't for Crossroads and the staff there. I'm very grateful for the help they've given me to turn my life around and have 5 years Sobriety today because they are here helping me to stay on the Path of Sobriety.

Journey Pure has definitely been an essential part of my recovery journey I was fresh out of a 30 day treatment center and knew I needed to do more to ensure the success of my recovery. I was referred to Journey Pure the first few months were more intensive, which helped set a foundation for the mental health maintenance I do today.I loved my initial therapy sessions with Bri, and my current therapist, Alexy, is just as good. I highly recommend Journey Pure if you are serious about wanting what s best for your mental health and wellbeing! There s no time like the present (:

Honestly when I walked in this place I thought it was gonna be like the multiple other places I've been. And as I expected the 1st communication was with my 1st therapist who didn't work for me. The office manager Megan immediately got me switched over to another therapist who is better. Megan has gone above and beyond for myself and multiple other people that I have spoke with since starting there in April. I also would like to say that the lab technician Desiree is always a bright spot in my day when I come in. And finally the doctor Chris has been always willing to listen when needed and speak wisdom to me when neededOver all I would recommend this place to anyone who is completely ready to live a better life and have the support necessary to achieve this.

This place is great if you truly want to get into your recovery. They start you off to get into your path of your journey to detoxing and start your journey to healing your addiction and helps you get to your next phase in your recovery!

I would recommend Wooded Glen to anybody who is in need of help and is truly seeking sobriety when I first got there I had so much drama going on in my life outside of just addiction and as time went on I warmed up and I became vulnerable it was an experience that I will never forget the staff is very courteous non-judgmental and understanding and very engaging you can tell they care Believe it or not a lot of them are in recovery themselves I never thought strangers would be so willing to help and care for people that they didn't know I am truly grateful for calling Wooded Glen Recovery what I liked most about Wooded Glenn was the fact that they dug deeper than just addiction I learn things from setting boundaries healthy relationships cognitive disorders just to name a few but the thing that I feel like help me most was the fact that we address the trauma and the underlying factors of why I use we got deeper than the surface during my time there I ended up becoming a peer leader which made me realize I have leadership skills it is so many things that I learned within 28 days it blew my mind and not to mention I got extremely healthy physically and mentally if you need help I highly recommend this place it saved my life and more ways than one I'm truly grateful and blessed to have been referred and admitted into their program this is my second time in a rehab and is by far a better choice in my opinion so thank you to all at Wooded Glen I am forever grateful also The place is beautiful and serene I'm from the city so I've never been in the country but it is so quiet and peaceful it was most definitely the reset and the break I needed to get back on track and not to mention THE FOOD THERE IS AMAZING!!!!!! I gained almost 30 lbs

Today (02/24/2025) will be my very first appointment. I've had 2 doctors since I've moved back home. It was not due to me, but I had to now find another facility to seek help. I'm praying for the best. I'm not used to doctor hopping. Will update after my appointment today.

I had the best experience at turning point center! The techs, nurses, therapists and case managers REALLY care! I have to give a special shout out to the techs that really took time to pour into each client individually. The food is great and if you come there with just the clothes on your back they will make sure you have everything you need and more. NA/AA meetings are brought into the facility multiple times a week and you are given the option to go to an outside meeting every week day after lunch. It s a smaller facility so I felt like I was taken care of and beyond! The staff truly cares! Thanks for an AMAZING experience!

Just left turning point and was very satisfied with. The program they have very friendly stuff and try their best to do everything they can do for you. They are very loving, including psychiatrist. The therapist the doctors. The nurse's peer Coaches and texts i'm like some amazing people there

So let me start off by saying I was court ordered to come here & was not happy at first, they have that saying if you don t want to truly get clean it ll never happen, well I'm here to prove that s not true. I didn t want to be at rehab, but I just took it day by day. The staff is incredibly welcoming & loving and that makes all the difference when trying to get clean. After a few days of detoxing I got Medication-assisted treatment, and started feeling better each day. This is a small rehab so you really get to know the other clients and leave with long term friends and get to know the staff as well - like your therapist for example, so you actually feel comfortable opening up and not just sharing because you have to. I also loved the AA/Na speakers they have come in - I was really able to connect with each speakers stories and they give you hope that if they can stay clean for that long through everything so can we! I also loved the fact they took us to outside AA meetings everyday so we get a chance to just get out and interact with new people. It was a safe healing place and if you re needing help this is the place to go

My only suggestions would be to offer more diabetic friendly options. I absolutely loved the staff!! I do wish art therapy was done everyday. For those of us that are older with physical limitations gym days are waste other than watching. As for shoutouts to the staff, they ALL deserve a raise. I ve been on 2E, 2W and Military. I haven t had a bad experience with any of them. Can I move in permanently?

I really have nothing to compare it to. Lincoln Trail is a five star rehabilitation facility.

I was nervous about how my stay would go at a mental health facility, well let me say this place was absolutely wonderful from top to bottom! Every staff member I encountered was respectful and kind. The food was good. The facility was clean. I would go back if I needed it. 10 out of 10! 100%
