5 stars! I have not even been to the Jasper office yet...but seen my new doctor in the Orleans office. There was a misunderstanding, I think with my previous doctor from Orleans leaving a 2 week gap in medicine, I've taken for 29 years! Without hesitation my new doctor at The Jasper office took over right away and filed that medicine! I have genuinely NEVER been cared for by a doctor like that way my whole life! I know I will definitely be at the Jasper office in a few weeks for my appointment and I just appreciate it so much local doctors would have just let me suffer they have before. We recently moved to the area, and when we had a mental health crisis, we called LifeSpring. I cannot express how grateful for the staff in Jasper! While crying out for help and being ignored had become the norm at other facilities, the crisis intervention team and staff at LifeSpring in Jasper began rallying around our family. They built a wall of safety around my loved one who needed care, a showed him (and us!) that we are not alone. They faced many “no’s” when trying to help us find additional critical care, but that did not deter them, even after hours, and they were able to find additional resources to help our family. I truly believe that thanks to their caring, determination and tenacity in ignoring the roadblocks and finding other avenues to take that they saved a family member’s life. They also followed up, after hours even, to make sure that the family member’s life had the support and care they needed. I will always be grateful for this group being put in our pathway. They are true heroes.

I have been very pleased with LSH services. They were there for me during a very rough time in my life. They offer so many services such as medication review, psychiatrist, face to face therapy. I would recommend this place for sure especially their PHP program, it was my very first time coming here and to be honest i was very nervous and scared but it was actually a lot more welcoming than i thought and i think theres alot of good people here, and alot of people that help, especially the therapists, ive done 3 full months as a teen and i would say it was definitely a life changing experience and i made so many connections and friends, and i just took so much from this place, and i learned so much about myself as well, 100% recommend PHP and their IOP program.

I enjoyed the virtual IOP treatment more than I thought I would. It worked well with my work schedule and I got to be comfortable at home as well as being comfortable in the group. I was able to connect and exchange information with my peers and expand my recover/Sobriety network!

Best Recovery Center ive been involved in. The facility is very clean 👌 huge cabins with plenty of space to enjoy your stay. The staff is amazing...being they've all actually been there in one way or another. The program is honest, direct and full of love ❤️. Beautiful rolling hills full of wooded trails and access to a nice pond for fishing. Hands down best recovery around. I would go again just to put insurance on my sobriety.

Update: 8/25/2026 - still sober!! 🥰 I checked in here (when it was still Landmark Recovery) on 01/07/2018 and have been sober ever since. This is the place where I learned how to start my new journey of recovery, and they helped me to build a solid foundation and gave me the tools to understand my addiction, its triggers, and how to cope with them. I cannot recommend them enough. They saved my life and I will be forever grateful to them.

My husband had surgery at the Louisville VA Medical Center, and the care he received before, during, and after surgery was incredible. Dr. Klein, Roberto, and the entire team were supportive, patient, and made sure he was comfortable every step of the way while also keeping me informed. The follow‑up after surgery was excellent as well — any time we called with questions, they were kind and quick to help. The VA physical therapy staff were energetic, encouraging, and made recovery something my husband actually looked forward to. Thanks to their guidance, we are back to enjoying time together for outdoor activities. We’re both incredibly grateful for the care he received and words really are not enough to share our gratitude for every interaction before, during, and after his procedure. This place is great. Doctors and all staff. I have been to ER twice and had a 5 day stay. I have had appointments in various apartments. I have been treated by great caring Doctors and Nurses. I have also had community services to get treatment faster then VA could provide,they sent me to a Saint surgeon known as Dr Yakkanti U OF L. The pharmacy has been most helpful. Community Services has been very responsive. When you walk down the hallway at Rex VA. Your brothers and sisters always are kind. Everyone acts like they know and want to help you. I am sorry some are upset about a problem. You deserve your say and fight. I hope you get it resolved. I deserve mine to. THANK YOU REX VA FOR KEEPING ME IN THE FIGHT OF LIFE. GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

Journey Pure has definitely been an essential part of my recovery journey… I was fresh out of a 30 day treatment center and knew I needed to do more to ensure the success of my recovery. I was referred to Journey Pure… the first few months were more intensive, which helped set a foundation for the mental health maintenance I do today. I have been very satisfied with the staff except the girls that check you in they seem to be too busy to listen to what you have to say twice I have been told to sit back down and they would be with me in just a second and after a half hour of waiting I had to go back to the window and she said oh I forgot about you and all I wanted to do was make an appointment for my next visit otherwise all the rest of the staff have been very helpful.

Some, among the homeless, seem to struggle with what The Healing Place helps - anyone, in need, get away from, yet, it's up to an individual to sign-up. On the other hand, I'm struggling to keep what, little income I'm allowed to have, as housing wants a percentage - no matter how small, & I can't afford any housing agreement. The Healing Place give us space to figure things out...in a safe space. Thank you. 🙏🏿☺️ As of 8/3/2026, I'm adding the following, & hope we get the help we need, please. 🚨RIDES NEEDED: SupportOurNeighbors@The Healing Place 🚨 The Healing Place does incredible work accommodating homeless women and providing a safe haven for recovery. But recent T.A.R.C. transit cutbacks have added a massive hurdle. Many women arriving at the shelter carry everything they own in heavy luggage. Dragging bags over miles of concrete causes real, crippling physical toll—and walking long distances to distant bus stops just to reach essential meetings, appointments, and meals is becoming nearly impossible. The Healing Place does so much, but they can’t fix transit gaps alone. We are asking the wider community to step up and help further that mission! How You Can Help: Volunteer Driver: Offer periodic or scheduled rides to help transport women and their belongings to vital recovery meetings. Church & Organization Partnerships: Help us coordinate van pickups, similar to traditional church outreach networks.
