This place was the best! I have been to multiple places for my mental health and this thankfully was my last stop. I was recommended this place by another mental health facility. And I truly am grateful for all of the techs, therapist, and doctors! But a big shout out to the personal trainer they have there! And to the lady in the barbershop without the courage from these two I would have went crazy without seeing my family for over a month. Even on days where I felt super depressed the trainer encouraged me to just get on the treadmill and walk. And so thankful that he did that because honestly it made me feel better. And the lady in the barbershop I went to when I was too overwhelmed to do anything with my hair and without judgment she helped. I wish I could remember their names but it’s been almost a year ago. But will be forever grateful for them, and this place!

Alyssa Gatz (Director of CRT), and her staff at CRT are by far the most amazing group of people that I have ever encountered. The CRT staff goes above and beyond to help any individual who wants to change their life for the better. The staff is always available and always ready to lend a helping hand anytime out of your 24 hour days. There's never a question that cannot be answered, and if there is the staff again will go above and beyond to get you the correct answer. The 90-day program provides structure and discipline to an individual's life who wants to make a positive change and continue to live a full sober life displaying the best version of yourself. At the end of the 90 day program Ms. Gatz and her staff will provide each individual further recovery by helping the individual who wants to say sober and continue to live with further housing. I moved to Bloomington in January 2024, I had never stepped foot in Bloomington, Indiana and I knew absolutely nobody. The staff at CRT helped me get all the correct documentations that I will need to get a job, driver's license, birth certificates, any other documents that I needed to further my life and Recovery. After the 90-day program and I moved on to a different sober living being Courage to Change the staff of CRT was still more than willing to help me with any other things that I needed or had questions for. Also after I graduated CRT I used to think the staff on the consistent basis for saving my life. They assured me that I saved my own life and they were just grateful to be able to give me the tools the structure and the discipline to change my life so that I can save my life. Me myself I can go on and on about CRT about all the wonderful things that they have to offer but I know 100% that there is not enough time in one day to speak on all the great experiences that I had at CRT. I would recommend to anyone out there who wants to make a change in their life and is willing to make the effort to meet CRT at least halfway to contact them you won't be disappointed believe me when I tell you. Where should I start? Probably with Bloomington meadows hospital has helped me immensely. Their staff helped me in a time where I thought nothing else could. Tai'ja was able to catch me before falling victim to the judicial system. Had she not gotten my message in time then I would possibly be facing a different outcome at this very moment. Instead she reached out with concern and comfort letting me know that everything was going to be okay and that I was able to be enrolled in intensive outpatient treatment. That's when my journey began. I've had a lot of therapists in my life but there's only one therapist that I will be forever grateful for and I would like to recognize her. She is Shenise Nash. Shenise is one of the most outstanding, outspoken, well versed in the language of therapy therapist that I have ever met. One would think that doing virtual visits might not be enough, but I am here, forever a believer in her utmost educated manner of tending to patients who are at their wit's end and trying to find the light. Shenise helped me when others couldn't or wouldn't. So if you're ever in a time of need and feel the darkness closing in just reach out to Bloomington Meadows talk to Tai'ja, and have her enroll you into Ms. Nash's intensive outpatient program. I'm here having completed said program to Bear witness that it is a complete life changer. Thank you Tai'ja for not letting me slip through the cracks. And a massive thank you and God bless you to Shenise Nash. You did a good thing hiring Miss Nash Bloomington Meadows.

You cannot call directly to the clinic, no phone number available, to see if a Dr has an opening. I have walked in - checked in- & waited. It worked. On the other hand my appointments have been treated efficiently and with respect.

My Dad was here for rehab for a short time and had a good experience. He absolutely loved the breakfast, the eggs were cooked to perfection. I had to call later and ask how they prepared them to make them like that for him. Haha. My Mom stayed with him and staff was super nice to both of my parents. Therapy was two hours a day, Dad worked really hard and was able to go home within about a week. He had his hair cut while he was as there, the barber did a great job.

My husband spent a couple of weeks in 2023 at Bell Trace for rehab after lung surgery. I have only good comments about the care he received. Every member of their staff made us feel completely at home from the moment we walked into the reception area. He received excellent care, from rehab to nursing to dietary needs. Each and every staff member came in with a positive attitude, giving the impression that they love what they do. Whether they were delivering meals, giving him his meds, or helping him bathe, each staff member treated my husband with total respect. We enjoyed having lunch in the Bistro, where we could visit with other patients while we enjoyed a delicious meal. My mom has lived at Bell Trace for a few years now and she loves it! She lived independently before this and of course was apprehensive about moving in but she very much still lives independently but with access to so much more! There are a ton of social activities, outings, they have access to transportation to go shopping and the staff is lovely. I especially love the dining staff! They genuinely get to know the residents and treat them with respect every time they interact with them. Recently, when my mom had a fall and needed additional help, it was comforting to know she could receive it right in her apartment. It was truly the best decision to move her there, it is such a caring and warm place.

When the program started in this place I thought it would be a waste of time but in fact, it was the opposite, they were friendly, friendly, caring and compassionate, they are sincerely interested in patients since they come in the door. Just started here, and it is the most gracious treatment I've ever gotten in mental health. I feel treated like a whole human rather than a task to get through. Being able to switch an in-person appointment to a video call on short notice makes a huge difference, and it's an option I've never been given elsewhere. Getting at least a little therapy even if I'm very late means so much to me. I feel like the appointment policy was written with an understanding of people like me who struggle but still show up as much as we can, and it has changed how I feel about therapy in general to be met where I'm at by the office staff just as much as the providers.

When I arrived at Tara, I was as low as I had ever been. I couldn’t be more grateful for the decision I made to go there. Every member of the staff truly cared about me and my recovery. It changed my life in the most positive way. The schedule and curriculum required hard work and consistency, but helped me get back into a routine of living. I learned so much about myself, grew my fellowship, and made friendships I see being lifelong. I have since continued their aftercare programs and have experienced nothing but great things throughout my time there, as well. I am responsible for my recovery journey, but Tara has and will continue to have a major role in my success during my journey. Spent 30 days at ICFR Indianapolis. This has been my first time seeking treatment and choosing self help on my own accord. Looking back I wish I would have done this years and years ago. I definitely could have and would be all the better for it. Things would be different however. I would have missed my chance to meet wonderful people. Between my peers and the staff there are many I will hold with me forever. However, there are two who I want to distinguish above all the others. Carla is my first. Her spirit is incredibly uplifting. When I came here in the mental state I was, she was a positive force that met me every single day with consistency and positivity. Between the silly and serious, I have enjoyed every encounter I have had with this woman. She made sure to do everything in her power to make me feel comfortable and help satisfy and wants or needs I had. She is an amazing person who offers kindness freely along with her goofy attitude. I will miss waking up in the morning to our interactions and will forever hold higher expectations when my morning sassy/snarky self is being handled so well. Pure gold this gal!! Second, I have to shout out Brittany (the other Brittany) also for keeping it real and consistent. Her laughter carries through the building and every time I hear it I know that it will be a good night. She has always been absolutely nothing but fair and has had an excellent sense of humor. Without it my nights would have been lacking most certainly. I will always remember this step of my journey and I encourage others to take the step if they are ready to do so.

Last month, I had the pleasure of attending Harbor Light IOP's Graduation and I was moved in so many ways I truly felt obligated to write a review about my experience. At this graduation, the valedictorian's name was Henry. He read a speech to the members in the audience and after his speech, he read a break up letter to the drug that had him in bondage for so many years. In this letter he reminisced on the good times they experienced, the great times with the women and the important life events he missed while being under the influence of this drug. The saying "all good things, must come to an end" was evident while he read this letter to the crowd. Henry decided that Harbor Light Center was going to be his home to assist him with obtaining and maintaining his sobriety. He thanked the caring and loving staff for they way they made him well welcomed on his first day. The Harbor Light Center is the truly place for New Beginnings, and I was honored to witness that Henry and the rest of his graduating class achieved their New Beginning at The Harbor Light Center. A place filled with love, compassion and support! I will continue to make referrals to the HLC! Please continue doing the rewarding work that you do, as YOU ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE!

I had a great experience at Harbor Light Center, Salvation Army. I was so determined that this place would not help me or me turn my life back around but you know what after detox for a week and a couple of weeks after I started to feel normal again I learned that I could not get better in a couple days. HLC changed my life around it’s been going good and strong for 5 years now I feel amazing I want to thank them.
