Barring medical needs that sent me to St, Luke’s, ALL staff were pleasant and professional. From top to bottom the care was phenomenal to me as an individual, not by my patient number. Beyond hospitable by providing anything I could possibly need and they even gave my husband an evening snack bag so that he wouldn’t have to leave my side. I appreciated the communication between the rounding physician and surgical doctors and myself so I maintained autonomy in my own healthcare decisions. 10/10 stars!

I had a very positive experience at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids. The doctors, nurses, and entire medical staff were incredibly professional, compassionate, and attentive throughout the treatment process. They took the time to clearly explain every step, answered all questions patiently, and made sure we felt comfortable and well cared for. The level of care and dedication shown by the medical team was truly impressive. From the moment we arrived until the treatment was completed, everything was handled efficiently and with great kindness. The hospital facilities were clean, well organized, and the staff made sure the patient’s comfort and safety were always a priority. I’m very grateful for the excellent care we received. Thank you to the entire team at St. Luke’s for their commitment to patient care and for making a difficult situation much easier.

If it wasn't for this clinic and all the wonderful people there, my life would be in shambles. If it wasn't for Medicaid, I could never afford daily doses and if it wasn't for The Way Shuttle picking me up six days a week for almost 3 years straight, I wouldn't be where I am today. I came to ASAC after 15 years of serious substance abuse and it was the first treatment center I had ever been to. I am coming up on my one year anniversary being completely sober. I am happy, healthy, and in control of my life in a way others have prayed I would be for a long time. The staff at ASAC helped me in so many ways I could not list them all, they were nothing short of amazing to my family. These people at ASAC are the most knowledgeable, caring, capable bunch of professionals who have assembled a team that gets results. I’ve unfortunately been in recovery several times at ASAC. They really do care. However, they can’t do the work for you. I’ve always been given good advice on how to move forward after treatment, but get sober and think we’re Superman. I learned a lot. Now, how bad do we want sobriety?

Asac has changed my life not once but twice! I had 7 years of real recovery when I left in 2018. When I relapsed I went back and they dug deeper into my trauma with me to find the root cause of my addiction and are helping me thoroughly examine every aspect to prevent another relapse. I love the new Abbe Center building. They have really progressed since their last building. Sometimes communication can be off but that’s everywhere. Once you find the right people apart of your care team, you will love Abbe Center. They have lots of recourses available for the bus/getting to appointments. But sometimes scheduling can be tricky.

Very professional!! I went to two different places to do my evaluation for my court ordered for owi. The two places I went they truly didn't listen and were rude but this place was amazing!! I highly recommend! Jessica really listened to me and was extremely kind. She got my stuff over to the court and dot too really fast. If it wasn't for her I would still be stuck at a rude place with a councilor who was making me substance abuse classes for absolutely nothing but for my money. I can't thank this place enough and Jessica. My dad and I left this place crying in tears of joy because the horrible battle was finally over.

I went to tanager a couple years ago and I may not have seen how much it helped me then but I realize now. I'm positive every staff member would be happy to help any kid as long as they wanted it or asked. Almost every one of the therapists do an excellent job in my opinion and they all are their cus they do genuinely care. Even if y'all don't think so. The only bad part about tanager i would have to say is the kids. Having to live in a cottage with 10 other kids going through possibly similar traumas as yours or completely different and the kids seem to just, clash. But yeah 👍🏻

I interned here when I was in undergrad at University of Iowa and Tanager is truly a well run facility. The staff is well trained and they provide structured, supportive, and comprehensive therapeutic interventions for children with myriad needs. My experience here was exceptional!

Mahaska Health provided excellent care during my husband’s surgery, and everyone we interacted with was kind, capable, and attentive. When our car broke down the day before, a hospital employee who had just finished her shift noticed our situation and helped us get the vehicle safely into a parking spot. After my husband’s surgery the next day, a member of the admissions team went out of her way to arrange transportation for us without us even asking. Those thoughtful gestures made a stressful time so much easier. We’re truly grateful for the care and kindness we received.

I have to say this is the first time that I have reviewed any place. The standard of care that mayo clinic provides is outstanding. I have had years of experience with Mayo Clinic and think that they are the best place to receive medical treatment. However, that being said, the hell that we have to go through on a monthly basis to get a prescription wrote is horrendous. Almost every single month, we have to contact them to have the doctor sign a prescription and almost every month it is the same hassle. they didn't get around to sign it. This inevitably leads to us waiting around until they get a chance to sign a piece of paper, i can pick it up and drive it two blocks away to get the prescription filled. By this time, the medication from the month before is gone. My wife and I have taken off work, rearranged our schedules and waited around all day for them to "get the time" to sign the prescription. I have complained to the clinic and the complaint line and have seen no improvement. I am all about being understanding, but when the poor service reoccurs for YEARS, my patience wears out.

I'm oddly confused about all the negative reviews. One of the best experiences I've ever had and has changed my entire outlook on life. I think about this place almost everyday since I've left, and I sincerely miss all of the staff. Every single one of them had a positive impact on me that I won't ever forget. I'm even headed back to school to get my bachelor's degree in a similar field, with the credit to my time spent here. I only ever heard positive things while I was there and a lot of people coming in from the outside to volunteer their time for meetings .. the majority of them give a lot of credit to Horizons for helping them as well. My Fiance is going to be there today, and I was really worried about it. I am in treatment as well in another City. We are both doing this on our own will, but after reading these reviews I fell better. I truly believe that treatment is exactly what you put into it and how much you want to get out of it.
