I absolutely love this place and the people that work here. It’s my first time in recovery and my providers here, first Cynthia, who was so supportive of my journey and helpful, and then the lovely Chelsea has just been so amazing and helpful as well. So kind and personable and they seem like they genuinely care! And the front desk staff are wonderful too and always willing to help and go out of their way which I’ve really appreciated. The counselor I meet with as well is so friendly and makes me laugh with her sense of humor. I am SUPER happy I chose this place even if it is a bit of a drive for me, it was the perfect choice.

Update: Over 2 years sober. I also went through a very high risk period for relapse over the past month. For whatever reason cravings and temptations came back, but I used what I learned at the Ridge and am still sober and so thankful. Definitely recommend. This is the best thing you will ever do for yourself. Update: 526 days sober and going strong. I have definitely had cravings and vulnerable points, but have managed to stay sober thanks in large part to the ridge. I'm at 8 months sober today and can say that the things I learned at the Ridge still help me every day- literally. I am still in the aftercare program and getting a lot out of it. If you need help this is a great place to build a foundation for sobriety (and abstinence from other drugs as well). Summary: The Ridge is an excellent comprehensive treatment program for alcohol use disorder (and others). I personally had an exceptional experience with the residential treatment program, intensive outpatient therapy, and aftercare. Nothing about this experience was easy but I am confident that due to my experience with The Ridge I have a solid recovery foundation (I am just over 4 months sober currently). This review focuses on residential care Highlights -well developed program that is evidence based -full days -attendance at local 12 step meetings -access to a wide variety of recreational activities and art and music therapy classes -I felt prepared when I left and have continued to feel that way (it has been difficult but I have the tools) -staff are compassionate and helpful; many are in recovery themselves - peer support - comfortable accomodations and excellent food My advice if you are going to a program like The Ridge (these things helped me to have continued success today) -follow the rules, yes they may seem silly -do awkward things they ask like getting a temporary sponsor and numbers at meetings -listen to their advice, they may says things that sound stupid,my experience is that the things I think sound stupid end up being the pertinent ones -try to relax into the time; enjoy not having to do a ton of chores, cook for yourself etc -take the time to build a new hobby I electected to go to The Ridge when I came to terms with the fact that I have an alcohol use disorder. I was receiving psychiatric care and my provider gently led me to acknowledge this. Two providers independently recommended The Ridge when I expressed interest in treatment. Residential I initially signed up for the 30 day program but decided to stay longer as I was getting a lot out of the program and am really happy that I did. Residential days are very full. The beginning of the day is filled with groups. The afternoon has time for recreational activities (no naps). A lot of people take up pickleball during this time but there is also the option to go to the pool (when open), do art, write, etc. Evenings there are 12 step meetings in the community. Accomodations I stayed in a private room which I would say was Marrott quality. Cleaning services are provided. You are expected to make your bed (a pretty minor thing). The meals are excellent and snacks are freely available. The culinary staff are great- very personable and great educators. It was sufficiently comfortable and quiet enough to get quality sleep. Nursing Nursing staff were generally available and very helpful. Medication time windows could be a bit tight but were feasible. Recovery support specialist staff Recovery support specialists helped with sessions, daily questions, and herding everyone, They all have different personalities but in general were very easy to get along with. Supervisory staff were very helpful and responsive. Counselors Generally had very helpful sessions, individual counseling was very helpful.

I went through PH in 1988 after numerous failed attempts at recovery. The year + I spent there was the best investment I could have ever made in my recovery! The years I later worked as a counselor there are some of the highlights of my career. Love and gratitude always for the PH!

I went through Prospect House as a client in 2012, and it was the first place where I was able to begin connecting the dots about what was going on inside of me. That experience became foundational — not just for my recovery, but for the direction my life ultimately took. I later built a career in behavioral health, and I often say I learned more during my time at Prospect House than in all my years of schooling. That’s not meant to diminish my education — it was valuable in its own right — but the insight and growth I gained there were unmatched. I wasn’t ready when I arrived, but they helped me become ready. I’m deeply grateful for the role they played in my journey.

Talbert House has truly helped me. The staff there are amazing, and always try their best to help us. There are staff who will spend their money and make us breakfast some mornings. If you are seriously wanting to get off drugs brightview is place to go! I was an addict for six years and tried everything to get off and used up all my lifetime days! Then I went to brightview May 5th 2020, that's the day I quit permanently! I have been clean and sober from illegal drugs and alcohol every since! I just celebrated my 6th year clean and sober May 5th 2026!! I still go to brightview once a month now but I think it's important for me to keep going! The nurses, counselors, case managers and doctors are really great and they listen! However, they are also human but aren't we all sometimes! One word though, front desk people need more experience and empathy towards the patients!🙏😇👍

Look I'm going to keep it 100 right I don't get how anyone that has been there more than once would give any less than five stars. For real this is the first time I've done a review and I did it cuz I seen some haters and I ain't with that especially when I know it's real. All right so I want to highlight a few things and people that should give you a clear picture if you ain't never been there. Angie and Vic stand out to me because they're the first people you see when you get there and they make you feel welcome and they are really on point when it comes to making things happen quickly. I got ADD that one way and I'm terrible with names and I wanted to put everybody in here but I'm about to leave some people out and I apologize. I've been to a few other treatment places and none of them can compare to the service and flexibility along with the way you feel like everybody really has an interest in your well-being. Trish is like a counselor now so it looks like she is in an even better role to personally affect people's lives and it's easy to see that her interest in your success is genuine. I've been going there since 2020 and they've always done their thing but here lately they really on top of their game. If you in a tight spot financially they gon work with you and now there even little things like free snacks and other things. They are involved every area of your life that you feel needs improvement. Mental and physical health services are part of the package and even tho the stigma of substance abuse has been declining they ensure your confidentiality and will help you with your legal matters or parole/probation which is a big deal if you got to deal with the system. There's a couple ladies I wanted to mention just cuz they of important role they play in the whole experience so I'm hoping I can edit this after I see them next week. Angie isn't there all the time but when she is she keeps things moving and I have to give the boss a shout out cuz every time I needed something that he could help with he didn't hesitate to make it happen. What's crazy is that even with all the requirements that you go through to get your meds (which they provide right there on site so you don't even have to go to a pharmacy) they get you in and out of there so much quicker than they used to. If it's your first day going there so I can say is be prepared for a long day and a thorough examination which is necessary to get you started the right way. But after that it's usually pretty quick and easy. Last thing I want to say is how awesome the providers are. They never rush you through and don't judge you or chastise you if you slip up. I've been clean of opiates since 6-17-2013 because of Suboxone and back when I started it was super expensive and hard to get. I'm glad times have changed and a place like Brightview in Fairfield, Ohio exists. 💯

Im a Big Fan of Brightview. I have been since day one. I would recommend it to anyone who was serious about getting help. If you just need an excuse it's not the right fit but if you are earnest it's the best place you could put your trust in. Only complaint I have is each Brightview location should have their own number so when an addict needs to talk to someone they have a number to reach their councler or Dr... I realize it's not ideal to be available 24/7 but it could save someone's life and wouldn't that make it all worthwhile. Thank you Brightview

The care in PHP is exceptional. I worked with a phenomenal, deeply passionate therapist, and the content we learned was genuinely revolutionary for me. The nursing education sessions were highly informative, and the psychiatric staff was incredibly understanding and helpful in identifying my specific needs. They provide fantastic strategies and tools that (when put into practice) have transformed by how I go about my life. My only concern involves some of the front desk and auxiliary staff. Interactions with them sometimes made it feel like patient needs were being disregarded. This was never personally; but anecdotally I noticed issues around accessibility needs not being met. Ultimately, the core program and clinical team are outstanding and deliver an experience that creates lasting, positive change. If you are seeking help, Beckett Springs is the place to support you in changing for the better.

I attend the MAT program at Crossroads. The building has numerous programs geared at assisting individuals with substance abuse issues from smoking cessesstion to heroin addiction. I have had interactions with numerous staff at multiple programs. I have been attending groups and individuals counseling as far back as 2013. I would highly recommend this place for people who are convinced they have a problem to people who believe they just need a little support to get over it. Give them a call. What could it hurt. Good luck and God bless.

I was in this program in 2013 and even though it was not an immediate cure the people there gave you a wonderful start for healing. They were very caring and providing in every aspect.. Even at this late date, not cured but so much better off and grateful for having been there in that program.

Hamilton VA Clinic treats veterans through their drug rehab services and some specialty services, too. They’re located in suburban Hamilton, Ohio. It’s tucked away in a suburban shopping center, not too far from Jefferson Park. The clinic treats patients who are suffering from drug and alcohol addiction. Referrals are required to enroll, though

This clinic had my back all the way now people that talk bad about a clinic is because they were probably using while being in treatment I used most of my time there because I myself did not hit rock bottom until it almost killed me but they stood behind me all the way it’s the reason I am alive today they also do Suboxone so if methadone is something you don’t want but Dr.soria is an awesome doctor and the director Margaret is a very caring person. Also, our obviously the better you do the better your time will be, but that’s anywhere, so whoever is reading this if you’re considering it, I would do it get clean, save your life and live a good life.good luck

This is a wonderful place, and doctor Soria is one of the most caring and passionate doctors I've ever met. Those who don't like it are the ones who couldn't get with the simple program and got kicked out or otherwise removed from the program.
