I have started going to this treatment place about 2 months ago and I was a addict for 4 years I’m 19 and pregnant with my 2nd baby and this place has helped me get my soberity and find my life back I’m not to far out on my journey but I know they have helped me tremendously Im not yet on a stable dose but of course it takes time to get there also me being pregnant effects the dosing but other then that this place saved me ! Place isn't the worst and isn't the best, but alot better than most other places in Louisville. People get mad because they constantly still get high or get in trouble for taking benzos with their methadone. So they get on here and talk bad. This place has helped me more than anything, now I'm going on 9 months sober from opiates for the first time since I've been an addict from the age of 18.

LAC was great. I participated in the evening groups through zoom, which I originally had reservations about. Even though the meetings were online, they were still very engaging, informative, and personal. The therapist and case manager were incredible. They were both very authentic and supportive, and they were easily available when we needed them. I am very appreciative and grateful for this program.

They have been opening their doors to people with substance abuse problems, the homeless, and armed forces veterans for decades now. And I think it's great that they were able to open their new and bigger facility recently. That just means they are able to help more people.

I felt the difference the first time I called Crossroads and Josh answered. I felt heard and welcomed. I’m so happy I made the change to Crossroads Treatment facility. I had the best experience at turning point center! The techs, nurses, therapists and case managers REALLY care! I have to give a special shout out to the techs that really took time to pour into each client individually. The food is great and if you come there with just the clothes on your back they will make sure you have everything you need and more. NA/AA meetings are brought into the facility multiple times a week and you are given the option to go to an outside meeting every week day after lunch. It’s a smaller facility so I felt like I was taken care of and beyond! The staff truly cares! Thanks for an AMAZING experience!

I went to the brook because I knew something wasn’t right and I needed help with the mental side of my life! That being said on day one I had zero confidence on while I did this and just thought I would leave wondering why I come! Now every morning I wake up and look forward to learning more about myself and going to group every day Monday thru Friday!!! Had a great time getting sober here and I miss the staff. This is a good place to get sober with great staff that really care about their patients and many of them are addicts themselves in active recovery. Made a lot of great friends there. Fun times!

Shawnee Baptist Church certainly holds a place in my heart. This church is great. All the people that attend from my experience are great people. Pastor Steve is an amazing Pastor. He certainly has a calling on his life to share the gospel and help others come to Jesus. He and his wife were nice enough to show up to mine and my wife's house in Louisville and talk with us. He baptized me and even though I'm in Texas, he still reaches out to this day. They also help many people with a food pantry I believe is every Friday morning. I believe that you will find so many people who love Jesus at this church and you can find Jesus there and accept his as Lord and Savior at Shawnee. This church certainly has had a great influence on my life and can change yours. God bless.
