I have used alcohol and drugs the past 45 years of my life trying to stop on my own lots of times but couldn't do it. When I walked through the doors I was amazed by the staff how they welcomed me. Now 8 months later after they literally loved me back to life I am proud to say that I am sober which my family thought would be impossible and very proud to be a staff member and will graduate in June of the long term program. I found God there which I had never had in my life and the tools they gave me and God's blessings I am alive now and the happiest that I have ever been in my life. EVERY client is asked to do this as it exponentially increases their chances of good reviews and gives them digital visibility (very clever). It’s definitely the nicest rehab in KY but when I needed help the most…) BEWARE unless you pay 30k or have commercial insurance you cannot be seen. No riff raff allowed. If you want to get sober go to the Healing Place. They allow mental health meds and MAT now if you need it. There are varying program lengths and housing options depending on your situation. They will love you back to life and you can gain humility! (Core principle of a 12 step program they teach.) The healing place is free and I know many people lost their coverage this year due to the political climate. I would not recommend RAC. KY has some great treatment centers and 99.9% of the time treatment AND sober living is necessary but treatment doesn’t keep you sober. Nor will a 30k massage and great kitchen staff - which they are - if you are gonna drop that much money I would go to Cumberland Heights or the Bluffs. QUALITY healthcare services should be accessible to everyone. Not just the rich and you shouldn’t have to go into debt. This is life and unfortunately death. But hey, what do I know? I have been stuck in the never ending cycle of treatment for six years now. I have been to countless places that baby you and coddle you to death and focus on teaching people how to simply think better but never focus on the application of new behavior. Luckily, Liberty Ranch is much more focused on teaching people how to actually act better. If you want to turn your life around for good come to The Liberty Ranch and they will be your best bet to making a life long change. I am a year sober and have found some serenity and joy in life I believe that is in big part due to The Ranch and the people that run it. It is different than your average "cookie cutter" treatment. They deal with the real underlying issues and character defects that keep us in relapse mode. The staff we have is great. I love our manager, Keisha and Julie and they do a great job of welcoming new people and making everyone who have been there still feel important as well. Day in and day out everyone has a great attitude and willingness to help. With such a high turnover rate If it were up to me I would make sure everyone got a raise and was based off of what they feel like they should deserve to be getting because whatever that number would be they have gone way over and above to make BHG feel like home even down to the decorations. It doesn’t makes sense to me in a day where no one has work ethic or desire to work and high turnover rates that you get good work who wants to be there and not compensate them for that. Everyone we have at this facility needs to be compensated for their time and effort and on making a choice to stay and put in the work and not constantly disown us and leave which as an addict consistency is something we need and when there’s turnover we feel it too. If we are truly cared about and this is a company that is truly trying to help in recovery we need to make sure we’re all getting the help we need and that also obviously includes the great team who makes it all possible and we don’t want to lose them!
