I was there when my BiPolar Disorder went into a major depression almost a year ago. I was extremely suicidal. They were very caring and helped me to start to come out of it. It wasn't all medication. It was therapy and classes too. The staff is awesome!

I would highly recommend Roaring Brook. The staff here met me where I was at but didn't leave me there. Through the group therapy they shown me the importance of community, through peer support we was able to target flaws in my time management and through the counseling I've been able to recognize and deal with past hurts and learn and understand my emotions. This place has helped solidify my recovery and they can yours too!!

For many years my little cousin Michael struggled with addiction so bad. Watching a loved one struggle as many in my family has, is heartbreaking. Michael is a miracle & God has put the right people in his path. People that didn’t discard him for his struggle, but people that shined the light of Jesus so bright that showed him the way. Upon arrivngl at Lexington Addiction Center(LAC) I was greeted with friendly staff that was awaiting my arrival. At first I was nervous because I was 500 miles away from home and didn't know anyone, but as I started to settle in things got easier. I shared a house with about 10 others that was in recovery just like me. The house was clean and well furnished. I had the opportunity to attend AA meetings 5 times a day which in part helped with my sobriety. My case manager kerstin was very helpful in assisting me with issues that I was going through at home as well as housing and giving me overall information that I needed to secure housing. I can't say enough how LAC has helped me. I appreciate all the staff for assisting me through this journey. If you are thinking about going to LAC please do so with an open mind and ready to get on the road to recovery, this place is really great!

I have struggled with addiction my entire life, before coming to BrightView I felt defeated and ready to give up the fight entirely. Luckily I decided to go and see what BrightView was all about & it was the best decision I have made for myself & my recovery. The moment you walk in you are met with a big smile and a very warm welcome from Miss Kaci and/or Miss Denise at the front desk. If you're extra lucky you might even spot the most adorable Director ever hanging up there ( Shout out Miss Hunter!) Seroiusly the nicest ladies you'll ever meet! I was feeling really low when I finally made it through their doors, but Miss Kaci let me know I was definitely in the right place, and that I was among friends. The medical staff is absolutely phenomenal! They were extremely patient and friendly, answering every question I had and I had plenty! Oh my goodness, I almost forgot to mention one of the things that impressed me most! Everyone I saw on my first visit made it a point to introduce themselves to me, even if they weren't my personal Counselor, or Doctor or whatever, it was really nice of everyone, but I didn't give it much more thought, not until I came in the next day and EVERYONE that I had met the day before greeted me by name! I quickly learned that this is just one of the staff's super powers. I don't know how they memorize everyone's names so quickly, but it's quite impressive and very appreciated. I could go on and on, but I will leave you with one piece of advice. If you are struggling with addiction and are ready to take control of your life back, you should consider coming in and talking to the kickass staff at BrightView, you'll be glad you did.

This is the place to find your way to sobriety. BUT ONLY if you are honestly ready to work as hard at staying clean and sober as you did to stay high. I was left struggling daily by another clinic in town that would instantly shut me down when I would try to talk about the struggles I was having. I came here and the Dr listened to me. My dose was tweaked just a little bit and boom my life drastically changed for the better. The staff is absolutely great here.

I have never been more grateful for a program, such as this. I came into y’all‘s program October 2024 and I graduated March 2025 I signed up to continue aftercare and go to serenity. I done what was needed to continue my care and I moved into the apartment October of this year. You guys had gave me the tools that I have needed to be able to succeed in my recovery. Because of you guys, I have custody of my son and I am mending relationships with My Other three kids . I was so stressed about Christmas as my son was picked by Angel Tree and I only got one present and I didn’t have the money to be able to provide for My Other three. And last minute you guys came through with more than what I needed. I am so grateful for you guys if you are struggling and you want custody of your children this is the place to go. They have awesome staff members and therapists, and I believe in my heart if I would’ve went anywhere else things wouldn’t have turned out the way they have for me today and today I’m stable. I am in my own home with my son. I have a job and I’m learning to live like a normal human being.

I have some issues with primary care since I was onboarded to a new primary care doctor in 2021. However, the rest of the hospital has been beyond exceptional. During covid in 2022, I spent two weeks recovering in the Lex VA hospital and really got to see exceptional care. Last year I spent a total of a month (two weeks each time) in the Lex VA hospital and was reminded why I stay in the Lex VA region. From nursing assistants, nurses, doctors, physical rehabilitation, nutritionist and everyone that took care of me on a daily basis showed beyond exceptional care. Ive been through a few VA care systems. Some were... dangerous for patient care and you felt that going in. Ive never felt uncared for or like I was in a truly dangerous situation out of my control at the Lex VA.

My only complaint would be the doctor turnover rate can make it difficult to get comfortable with a doctor. But, the doctors are always above par. The staff is wonderful and always eager to help. The Office is also clean and easy to get to. Terri and TJ have been working there from the start and I would trust them with my life. I'm grateful for a a good place I can trust with my recovery. I would recommend if you feel like you are at bottom.

My experience with this clinic has been nothing but fantastic. The staff here are very patient, respectful and friendly. I have had a few counselors. I would complain but I have really liked each one, and look forward to my sessions. This IS the only clinic I have personally attended but, I have had friends attend other clinics and it has mostly been negative feedback. I would definitely recommend!!

I am in the IOP program and and have less than two weeks left. I also live in one of their transitional homes. I am so grateful for the structure they provide in my journey after completing a residential program.. Their morning meditations (led by our peer support😁 ) started each day with inspiration and our IOP classes (ran by our therapist, Ms. Jenni 💕) unpacks meaning, significance, and practical applications that I needed in order to cultivate new behaviors that has strengthened me to have the confidence to stay sober. Without Spero heath I would not be able to share these pictures of memories I’ll always have. Truth is I would be just another statistic dead due to overdose! They have taught me how to live again, love myself, and become a productive member of society. With the medication along with the groups and counseling and support from their human resource team. I’ve been able to get back on my feet and any bumps in the road they are always their the help me figure it out.With the groups and counseling have helped me reprogram my brain into a healthier mindset to deal with everyday life situations with out turning to drugs. It doesn’t happen overnight it has taken me years to get where I am, but it works, and that’s why I’ve always came back. I know what I can be using this life changing program. I know where I would b if I didn’t come back and keep trying. I know I would not have been able to help my daughter get ready for prom, be here to take pictures with my kids on Mother’s Day and for that I’m so grateful to the team that I’ve worked with at Spero heath all these years. The doctors, nurses, and staff are truly caring, compassionate, and make patient care their top priority. The Medication Assisted Treatment (MRT) program at 2nd Chance is hassle-free, convenient and completely intuitive for new patients to navigate. My only complaint here is that I wish I could rate 10 stars versus 5. For those in treatment who are contemplating a change, or for those seeking out a treatment program for the first time, I highly recommend 2nd Chance Clinic, Lexington, Kentucky. This is the best place everyone treats me like family and it’s saved my life I never thought I would say that I used to use every excuse in the world has to good night get on maintenance I would say I was allergic etc.. It’s definitely saved my life and I’m grateful I’m grateful for all the doctors they take their time if you need them to answer anything you ask them the staff are absolutely wonderful. They go above and beyond I’ve had to reschedule appointments and they’re very helpful when it comes to that just a great place I would definitely suggest it to anyone and do and I would give him more than five stars. If I could try it, you might like it.

Though the facility is a bit dated I can only praise the staff. My mother in law was a patient there for about 4 days. It was a rehabilitation visit. The staff, nurses, social workers and management care was as good as any care she has ever gotten anywhere. Please don’t judge this facility by its cover. Once you see inside you will be amazed at the level of care and compassion. It was a wonderful experience for a woman that needed some special care. She received it at the highest level. Thanks to everyone who gave my mother in law exactly what she needed.

Employees like Ladonna Griffy and Deborah Gamil are why Bluegrass is the best. There both professional but, so kind and empathetic with the residents. One is the business office manager the other social services.They are perfect in there jobs. I don’t know if I could handle the screamers or having my office literally bombarded with residents in wheelchairs. Demanding attention now. Kudos to these two ladies.

My son transferred from a 2 week stay at our hometown hospital to UK Good Samaritan to treat an acute Crohn’s flair. Having seen how healthcare can be elsewhere, my gratitude for our experience at UK GS is overwhelming. The doctors at UK saved my son’s life and set him up for a healthy future of remission. The nurses were kind and responsive to my son’s every need. The specialists, surgeons, anesthesiologists, and dietitian that we worked with showed us they were some of the best in their field. Just a heads up.This is NOT AA or N/A. Or anything like it. Stephanie and Emily are a dynamic duo for the Bluegrass. I gained more clarity in this small unique class then I ever had in N/A or AA.
