I got to admit I definitely had pause about coming to this facility because of all the negative reviews. And not knowing what to expect considering that I have never been to rehab or any type of detox program. Im thankful that I made my own decision and ignored all them negative reviews based on the fact that I really wanted the help. It was hard the first couple days, but the staff and other patients kept on pushing me giving me encouragement. I have no favorite nurse they were all great ,but I have to give a shoutout to the nurse Aaron. She was so nurturing, caring and super helpful made me feel like I was in good hands seemed like she genuinely cared during my detox process. (Which was so hard for me) I’m blessed to say I successfully completed the program. It was definitely an experience, to say the least!! but I stuck it out!! And I also met some coo people there. So thank you to you all, each and everyone of you all ( staff ) and SHOUTOUT TO THE MOUNTAIN MANOR COMMUNITY!!

I'm ecstatic to share my transformative journey. This exceptional facility has surpassed my expectations in every way. The staff is comprised of dedicated individuals who genuinely care about empowering you to reach your full potential. I'm thoroughly enjoying the serene atmosphere, which fosters a sense of tranquility. The unique name 'pyramid' is a testament to the facility's innovative approach. The support team is always available to offer guidance and encouragement, making them true champions of positive change. My group leader's thoughtful gesture of playing the graduation song was a lovely touch. I've had the pleasure of meeting some incredible people along the way. One key takeaway is the importance of maintaining a positive mindset, as it can greatly impact your progress and overall well-being. Whenever challenges arise, I've found that open communication with my therapist is invaluable. How can I forget Sheila!!!! She's caring, good listener, and very knowledgeable always ready to help. My Aunt Betty last has lived at Record Street Home, an assisted living facility, for 3 years. She says that the nurses treat her like they are her best friend and the same caring and respect as a caring mother. If you are looking for a home, this is great place to come. You never have to worry about moving. They take care of any stepped care, including memory or medical care. She recently came out of the hospital after a heart attack and they nursed back to simply managed care.

Ok. I'm going to go out on a limb and see if you respond and take action on this. I'll assign a tentative 5 stars rating, with the expectation you'll formulate the correct approach... I wrote a google and yelp last week about this to Safeway at WMC Drive in Westminster; they responded that someone would contact me but they never did. So, I'm upping it a notch and see hat you good folks have to say!! Last week, late at night, I was in Safeway on WMC Drive in Westminster. A customer brought their pet dog (not a service animal) in to the store and the 2 of them strolled from aisle to aisle shopping here and there. I asked the store's on duty boss, Kris, if having a pet dog in the store was appropriate. Kris, in front of 2 of his store coworkers, looked at me like a deer in the headlights, cleared his throat a couple times (I could see the brain neurons moving at warp speed trying to come up with a response), and he uttered "well, I don't know the store policies or regulations on this, but I guess it's ok for them to have their dog in the store. I responded "so, let's assume the dog poops in aisle 3 and raises its leg and sprays the fresh organic lettuce with pee pee in the fresh veggie section, what are you going to do and wouldn't that be totally unacceptable in the store?" Kris shot back with "well, sir, I can assure you I'll clean it up!!" Kris did not instill any confidence in me and I could just imagine the dog barfing up grass next to the open grapes in the fruit section in a manner similar to the way my childhood pet reacted in our backyard many years ago. So, Mr or Ms Health Department, is it okay if I bring my pet parrot into Safeway some night, let him fly all around the store, and watch him deposit numerous droppings everywhere, including on the fresh open-air French bread???? This might be fun, especially if Kris is working!! What say ye?????????????????????????

I do not even know where to begin! The facility the employees the counselors are all amazing! Deanna & Susan helped me in so many ways, I’ll never be able to thank them enough!! Anytime anyone asks for help with anything as such, I will always refer to them. I did two rounds there, the first time was forced and I just was not ready, but this last time I really didn’t have a choice as I was diagnosed with cirrhosis - end stage 4 liver disease bc of alcoholism; it was literally life or death. I chose to go back bc I wanted to live, as I sit here typing this, today is my 2 year soberversary or 731 days!! I owe part of my recovery to them and will forever be grateful to have had such an outlet ina time where I didn’t know what was next! Everyone has their own opinion about different facilities and how they may or may not have helped them personally… but when making your decision in who to go to for treatment, remember all I said and I can guarantee you’ll be another success story from ADAC!!

I came to Austin Addictions in 2017 for the first time. I was very happy with the intake assessment and the professional staff, both in 2017 and current 2023. Over the years I worked closely with Paige Austin. She’s a one in a million type of person she helped me in ways no one else has my whole 34 years on this earth. Paige helped me realize that as long as I am striving and working to be a better me that’s all that matters and not to be concerned with others opinions on me. My favorite quote she always said to me was , “A flower doesn’t go around saying it’s a flower.” Austin’s Addiction is where I finally got the strength to get my addictions under control and where I just so happened to meet my significant other. So thanks Austin Family! Highly recommend!!! I wish I could give more stars 5 is certainly not enough.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ok so I can't speak on what other people had to deal with while being here but honestly I loved it. They tried so hard to help me. I went between the years of 2010 and 2013. I was here in the 90s. I was a resident when it was Lutherans for the most part I had a good experience but I was bipolar I got into fights alot. I was a very angry child. I had my moments I put the staff through a lot? I still remember the staff I had I was up there earlier today because my dad lives in the retirement community right before it so much has changed over the years. It looks completely different from when it did in the 90s the retirement community was not there then. The horse barn is still there. Most the cottages are gone I was in Riber and white cottage I went to school on campus only for a year and they let me go to zilenople high school cause I earned it I was not an easy child to deal with. I went there When I was 12 and was there till I aged out of the system

My boyfriend (he is leaving a great review also) and I have been a client at BH a little over a year and we both think the entire staff is wonderful!!! They always treat us with kindness, respect and compassion. I have been to 2 other facilities in Laurel & Cherry Hill and BH is by far a much better Facility. Each and every staff member has greeted me with a smile and asked how I was doing EVERY time and I consider them all to be more than just "staff". My Counselor Megan is phenomenal, she answers every phone call or text message and really listens to what I have to say and sometimes I'm sure I ramble, lol. I can talk to her about anything and her advice has helped me many, many times. I consider her more than my counselor she's my friend. I have NEVER had a false positive, EVER. I think you have to be honest with yourself and not blame BH, that's a part of recovery, personal responsibility. BH's staff members are a big part of the reason I am currently at the highest Level, Stage 4, and I am over 6 months clean!!! After being treated at a few practices/facilities, I can definitely say QCI is the best I’ve ever worked with. They’re professional yet laid-back, & compassionate when it comes to their services & patients. Being considered medication/treatment resistant, I’ve finally started breaking through the resistance, as they work for AND with you. My last 3 years with them have been amazing, notably because of my NP Emily, therapist Devin, CSS Carla, & nurse Kat. I want to sincerely thank the team at Oasis Therapy in Frederick for listening to my concerns and answering all of my questions before helping me fully understand: 1. Why I was dealing with lymphedema, 2. How they were going to aggressively reduce the swelling, relieve the pain and help build the strength back into my legs, 3. And finally what I needed to do to properly maintain my lymphedema after treatment. I highly recommend the team at Oasis!

I received excellent care from Oasis. Each member of their staff is friendly and thoughtful. They take the time to explain their process and answer your questions. The focus for my care was not only treating my Lymphedema but educating me on the self care I would need to do going forward. I can't recommend them enough.

I was here in Abraxas shelter for almost 9 months, I was very scared and nervous. I got told all bad things, but if I have to be completely honest, Abraxas has turned into my second family as much trouble as I got in. I love the staff made great bonds with everyone a huge shout out to shelter staff in particularly because they do really try their hardest to help the kids. As much as I’m happy that I’m not there anymore. I will always miss my second family. And you really do learn a lot of things being in Abraxas.

I was lucky at the time to have been sent to LDP. You can tell the staff care about you and want nothing but the best of you. I was only in one Physical Intervention. I learned that life is more than drugs, alcohol and violence I took part in being able to go on some LEAP trips we went canoeing, camping, shark tooth hunting, we even went to Washington DC. I wish our group had more time and more activities. Delta Unit Rocks!
