I stayed here for a month and it was a great experience. the staff was extremely helpful and caring. I never felt more tended to. The food was ok it was more the environment that helped relax me. They had the whole place being cleaned and it made me feel comfortable. The therapists were very encouraging and I feel like I couldn't have gotten to this place in my life without them. I appreciate everything that was done for me and how I was treated

I will rate Chrysalis House based on when I was there and when it was being ran by different staff and Mrs Carisaa was there. Other than that I can not speak for the program after Mrs. Carissa left. When I was there it was tough but it is what i needed. I have never been to a program that actually cared and literally internally got to me dug up some buried issues and I worked on them. Mrs. MELVINA was my counselor, she was amazing. Most of the staff had went through addiction. Mrs Denise was amazzziiinnggg i never felt uncomfortable, leaving my son with them during the day. The whole staff at that time was amazing. Yes, it was very strict, but they did it in a loving way because they did not want us to die. I know countless women
That graduated the Chrysalis House and are still clean. I have ten fifteen, close lifelong friends that I had met at Chrysalis and that are still clean to this day. I have never went to a treatment that had this much success. Like I said, I cannot speak for the new staff, but it sounds like it is still a great program.While I was there and before I left, they were building on the new addition which was beautiful.It was finished before I left but was not open yet. A woman and children's program is needed and I hope that this one is ran as good as it was when I was there.I'm sure it is. I felt so safe with my children. I'll forever be grateful for Mrs. Carissa and all the staff.

I was someone who stayed here for so time almost a year. I know you can't please everyone but they did try to. Most of the residential staff was wonderful very attentive to the clients needs. The two that I felt that went beyond their job was Simone and Melissa I felt very safe and comfortable w them and they are some of the most compassionate, caring staff I have come across I truly believe they are at their job not only for a paycheck but to help. Thank you to all the residential staff. The clinical team here is beyond amazing I am actually lost for words how much the team does. From the moment I got on the phone with them, I felt like someone actually heard me . They didn’t push me or judge me—just straight up helped me figure out what I needed. The place had a super chill energy, kind of like a breath of fresh air after all the chaos I’d been through .What hit different was the way they blended structure with real understanding. The enhancements the current leadership team - Quinn, Amber, Ashley - have made to programming, facilities, client services, and most importantly the parent support model have been first class. out of all the rehabs i been to this the only one that worked. i’m cali sober, meaning i still smoke and drink, but i don’t do anything else anymore. the only “negative” is that the food sucked but even then we were able to have our parents bring us food. not to add i went in 2023 so i am more than positive they upgraded. all of their staff genuinely care about the patients coming in and out. if you’re considering sending your child to this facility, this is their best option, coming from an individual who spent her life in and out of hospitals and residentials. this is the best place you will ever find.

I have been with Port Recovery for about a year and a half now. I've had sessions with Alana, Elaine, Courtney, Joanne, and Carol. I also had M-F 9am group sessions as well when I was on probation. I like the place enough that I've decided to stay with them after probation to keep seeing Ms. Cook as my psychiatric nurse practitioner. The welcoming environment is exactly what I need, and most likely you too. I was referred to Port Recovery from my Probation Officer. I got into trouble by wrecking my car into a ditch while sleep driving on Ambien. I couldn't remember a thing, only waking up in the hospital. So, I stopped taking extra Ambien even if I can't fall asleep back in February 2020. Now, I'm getting help at Port Recovery with my severe anxiety, depression, and PTSD issues. Best place I've been to for those issues, and being able to see all the professionals I need under one roof is perfectly convenient. Everyone is on the same page! Good luck to everyone else!!! I want to say thank you to the entire staff on the day of 10/21/2025. I had my surgery there. We arrived at 5:50am and we were greeted. The waiting area was clean and smelled good. We were taken to the next part at 6:00am, everyone in that office was sweet. Taken upstairs to the fourth floor, more positivity and the lady at the desk was just a pleasure. Get to the back I had the time of my life, I’m mad I cannot remember her name but she made me feel so much better as I’ve never had no surgery ever in my life. Had me laughing. My doctor was Dr. Mark and when I tell you I am grateful and thankful for her expertise and caring and kindness. Any questions I had, she answered. She never made me feel like a burden. She reassured me everything would be ok and I’d be good to go in about two-three days. I was out….. woke up to the young lady and my daughter. I just wanted to say thank you ti every single person on that day. God bless you all.

I underwent sinusitis surgery for the 2nd time at this place (the 1st is different), and I am extremely grateful for the quality of care provided. The ENT's was thorough in the diagnosis, patiently answering all my questions and explaining the procedure in detail. On the day of surgery, the medical team ensured I felt safe and well-prepared. Post-operative care was excellent, nurses also monitored my condition closely and offered helpful guidance for home recovery. The environment was quite clean, organized, and calming. This is a MAT program that offers the standard options for assisted treatment (bupe or methadone). Overall, this facility does it's job well, albeit some issues here and there.
Intake days are Tuesday and Thursday, and the doctor usually arrives around six. (That being said, it would serve to your benefit to get there at opening and get yourself in the queue ASAP)
DO NOT SHOW UP UNDER THE INFLUENCE!
Other things worth mentioning,
You are required to see a counselor every two weeks for fifteen minutes. That being said, there are no appointments and you cannot schedule ahead more that knowing what your next meeting date is, so plan accordingly.
You will be required to take a random urinalysis at least once a month. IF, you are doing the right things you can pretty quickly earn 'take-homes,' saving you trips and essentially rewarding and motivating you forward.
THEY ARE NOT LENIENT ON ILLICIT USE OF ALCOHOL, OR BENZOs. YOU WILL GET BREATHALYZED. YOU WILL HOLD UP THE LINE FOR EVERYONE ELSE. It's just not a good look so try to utilize the help given.
This should at least help you get into the door, and start you on your way.

I've been going to We Care for close to 14 yrs. and I've also was at Open Door facility. We Care has been great for me and mainly due to they listen to me not like the other place that had everyone there basically doing the same procedures as everyone else. That didn't work for me and I believe in whatever works for each individual to stay clean and focused is what is best for them. After all if it works why change it. I don't feel like I have as they say liquid handcuffs at We Care. As long as you follow policies and their guidelines all is great. That's why I'm still here at We Care and I respect the counselors and nurses there and I feel I also get respect from them. Brett who is responsible for all going there is very easy to talk to which makes any issues easier to deal with though I've had none. I appreciate all that everyone has done for me while I'm there and it has worked for me after all I'm still alive.

Let me start by saying i was pretty much a lost cause. Everyone and treatment place wrote me off,until i found WeCare Health Services they helped me finally curb for good, my addiction to pain pills and herion the staff was amazing and they truly care. Robin ,Susan ,Kathy to name a few were kind and compassionate the head nurse Diane is a genuis,she made my detox aslmost none existant.I SWEAR!!
