I have been going to this clinic for a while and of course every clinic has things that drive me crazy. But I can honestly say my counselor Jamie Basara truly care about me wellbeing ,my Recovery. For once in my life, I don’t feel as though I am putting in a category with everyone else. My counselor has individualized me and helped me with my problems. I couldn’t ask for more and the nursing staff, Miss Hattie, and Miss Carrie are phenomenal. Miss Carrie takes it out of her day to make sure I’m OK even if The medical reason has nothing to do with my medication. She’s a loving and caring person that seems to always put a smile on my face on my days are rough. I can’t forget about Mrs. Heather at the front desk she is a woman with a very large heart and cares about my recovery Here

I’ve been coming here since 2014. The nursing staff and counselors have improved so much over the years. The front desk receptionist Heather is warm and welcoming. The nursing staff is quick, professional & thorough. My counselor Jamie is the best I’ve had in all of my years of recovery up to this point. She always points out the positives in any situation and has a soft & loving way of talking through anything negative. Aside from her loving & professional style of counsel, she has degrees and certificates that make her more than qualified for the job. Out of all the facilities in the area that assist with medicated outpatient addiction treatment, AMS is the cleanest, most qualified and most professional.

My experience there was nothing short of life-changing. The staff and clinicians gave me the tools I needed to come back home and face my problems head-on. I learned how to communicate better in my relationships and handle challenges in a healthy way. The environment was supportive, understanding, and full of people who genuinely care about your well-being.

I will rate Chrysalis House based on when I was there and when it was being ran by different staff and Mrs Carisaa was there. Other than that I can not speak for the program after Mrs. Carissa left. When I was there it was tough but it is what i needed. I have never been to a program that actually cared and literally internally got to me dug up some buried issues and I worked on them. Mrs. MELVINA was my counselor, she was amazing. Most of the staff had went through addiction. Mrs Denise was amazzziiinnggg i never felt uncomfortable, leaving my son with them during the day. The whole staff at that time was amazing. Yes, it was very strict, but they did it in a loving way because they did not want us to die. I know countless women
That graduated the Chrysalis House and are still clean. I have ten fifteen, close lifelong friends that I had met at Chrysalis and that are still clean to this day. I have never went to a treatment that had this much success. Like I said, I cannot speak for the new staff, but it sounds like it is still a great program.While I was there and before I left, they were building on the new addition which was beautiful.It was finished before I left but was not open yet. A woman and children's program is needed and I hope that this one is ran as good as it was when I was there.I'm sure it is. I felt so safe with my children. I'll forever be grateful for Mrs. Carissa and all the staff.

I was someone who stayed here for so time almost a year. I know you can't please everyone but they did try to. Most of the residential staff was wonderful very attentive to the clients needs. The two that I felt that went beyond their job was Simone and Melissa I felt very safe and comfortable w them and they are some of the most compassionate, caring staff I have come across I truly believe they are at their job not only for a paycheck but to help. Thank you to all the residential staff. The clinical team here is beyond amazing I am actually lost for words how much the team does. They are all very passionate about their job and they make u feel welcomed and safe . I honestly believe if you are willing to chose recovery Chrysalis House will and can help 💯

From the moment I got on the phone with them, I felt like someone actually heard me . They didn’t push me or judge me—just straight up helped me figure out what I needed. The place had a super chill energy, kind of like a breath of fresh air after all the chaos I’d been through .What hit different was the way they blended structure with real understanding. This place is full of love, compassion and dedication to helping patients become their best selves. The Jude House has creative outlets for the patients like open mics where they can sing, play drums, guitar and share their songs and poetry. There is always a lot of laughter and support. They are investing even more into The Jude House now offering trauma informed yoga, music and art.

The Judehouse helped me grow in many ways. I learned how to cope with triggers and stressful situations. I was also taught how to manage anger and deal with my emotions. I definitely left there a new man ready to return to society.

I have been with this program for over eight years. There are so many opportunities offered in the program now it is amazing! Patients learn tools through the comprehensive education of our core groups of drug education, relapse prevention, coping skills, dual diagnosis, life skills, mindfulness, etc. Patients also have the opportunities of learning how to use a computer, build their resumes, get tutoring for the GED, take the GED test, go to Driver's Education, take college courses and the list is building everyday. The staff is a great team of hardworking individuals that put their hearts and souls into what they do.

Have had the pleasure of getting to work closely with the team at Crownsville over the last few months. The enhancements the current leadership team - Quinn, Amber, Ashley - have made to programming, facilities, client services, and most importantly the parent support model have been first class. The work the team does is hard work; hard work is good work and I can attest they are truly the experts. The clinical and nursing leadership are the best in the business and I’ve worked with many. The Sandstone team has done some great work in developing brand new recreational spaces (the Kickback house) and experiential opportunities to supplement what has always been great clinical delivery. The full team - led by Dr Yolanda Rogers and inclusive of the chefs and facilities maintenance team - are an all star care team. I truly can't thank the staff enough at the teen center in Crownesville, MD. Amber B, Justice W, Abby S, Quinn, Lala, several nurses, and staff members have taken my calls, emails, and texts daily. out of all the rehabs i been to this the only one that worked. i’m cali sober, meaning i still smoke and drink, but i don’t do anything else anymore. the only “negative” is that the food sucked but even then we were able to have our parents bring us food. not to add i went in 2023 so i am more than positive they upgraded. all of their staff genuinely care about the patients coming in and out. if you’re considering sending your child to this facility, this is their best option, coming from an individual who spent her life in and out of hospitals and residentials. this is the best place you will ever find.

This place is a sad excuse for a rehab facility. They told my counselor in drug court that I would not be a good fit because I called them to many times for an assessment. They never returned any of my calls so I left a few messages. This place is ridiculous and I would not recommend it for anyone when they are supposed to help us but instead talk negatively about someone they have never spoken to. You guys at the Jude house are real sad.

This place saved my life! From the time I walked through the door just three days after my suicide attempt I felt SAFE and with folks who understood what was going on. Once home I realized that I wasn’t 100%. After three weeks home I returned on my own. Today I can proudly say that I have helped several others enjoy the life after The Hog! I am still in contact with many of the staff members who I call family. Don’t ever feel like getting help is a weakness. The HoG is awesome!
