The wait time is pretty long, but the attention is great. (2024) My last visit was it 2024, I have been coming here for the past 5 years, and every time, it only gets better. My last visit was August 2026. Making appointments has become easier, the services are faster, and the nurses and doctors are always wonderful. The entire staff is consistently kind, helpful, and welcoming. Dr. Deanna and Yvette are especially wonderful. They are the sweetest, so gentle, and always take such great care of their patients. I truly appreciate the care and kindness they show every time I visit. Wendy, Ozzie and Andrew made the whole (and very brief) effort an exercise in friendly and engaging hospitality. I came for a copy of my birth certificate and despite a couple of hurdles (not having a driver's license at the moment) was passed with their willing and helpful assistance. This is the only one where the staff are qualified, helpful and care to such a degree. I started here years ago when I was court ordered, and I stay to help myself now that I am free. You can see the reviews of this place are very polarizing. Either one star or five star. Drug treatment is not a pleasant process. Whether ordered to be here or on your own volition, this is therapy and it means confronting aspects of yourself you don't like. They always treat us with kindness, respect and compassion. I have been to 2 other facilities in Laurel & Cherry Hill and BH is by far a much better Facility. Each and every staff member has greeted me with a smile and asked how I was doing EVERY time and I consider them all to be more than just "staff". My Counselor Megan is phenomenal, she answers every phone call or text message and really listens to what I have to say and sometimes I'm sure I ramble, lol. I can talk to her about anything and her advice has helped me many, many times. I consider her more than my counselor she's my friend. I have NEVER had a false positive, EVER. I think you have to be honest with yourself and not blame BH, that's a part of recovery, personal responsibility. BH's staff members are a big part of the reason I am currently at the highest Level, Stage 4, and I am over 6 months clean!!! The staff the Nursing the Therapist are all amazing. They changed my life. I went in lost confused on mental health and drug use and came out a totally different person. The Rcs staff KAREN and Charlen go over the top to make your stay comfortable. The Nursing Staff Mitch hands down one of the best men you will ever met. I have never been to a rehab/mental health facility before didnt no what to expect and they made my stay unbelievable. The cleanliness is top notch the beds are comfortable the cleaning staff goes above and behind. Courtney was my therapist and she does good she was a great fit for me. They have 5 therapist so anything you go in there with they definitely have a match for you. Overall a great place I would recommend to anyone!!!! Words can’t describe the care you receive. You’re not treated like your an inconvenience. Your called by your name it actually becomes a friendship. You will definitely know they care about you. So do you want someone who ACTUALLY cares about you and it’s not just one person it everybody in the whole innova group. Or you can go to that place to that all you are is just another body and you get the feeling you don’t want to be there no more than they do. So save all the bullshit and drama. Just make your choice innova because I can guarantee the way you walked in the treatment center.. you are going to walk out with your head held high. And definitely be walking out a total different person than you were walking in. If you read negative reviews, take them with a grain of salt—recovery requires rules, and the structure they provide is the reality check most of us desperately need. The Residential Treatment Program gives children who have suffered extreme trauma an opportunity to develop skills that can help them cope with their past and look forward to a brighter future. The Therapeutic Shelter Program houses and supports children in custody of the state or county children’s services. The Transitional Living Program gives girls aged 16-21 support and assistance to develop the life-skills needed to transition to independent living. In addition to traditional therapeutic methods, art, drama, and animal (including equine) therapies are available to the children at Hoffman. The recently added Outpatient Clinic offers support to individuals of any age, as well as group and family therapy. She says that the nurses treat her like they are her best friend and the same caring and respect as a caring mother. If you are looking for a home, this is great place to come. You never have to worry about moving. They take care of any stepped care, including memory or medical care. Jon Hershfield and the OCD team provided me with exceptionally skilled treatment so I could return home to a significantly higher-quality, more productive, and happier life. I worked specifically with Jon, Molly, and Rebecca (the entire team is fantastic), and they are without a doubt the most knowledgeable, compassionate, intentional, and collaborative clinicians with whom I have ever worked over the course of my 30+ year journey with OCD. They educated me on my conditions and empowered me to build the skills and tools necessary to live with and effectively manage these chronic illnesses. They worked closely with my psychiatrist and social worker on my care team at the Retreat to create a holistic approach to recovery. They also ensured that I was discharged with a comprehensive plan to execute with my psychologist at home. I highly recommend them and am eternally grateful for their life-changing care. I'd been to other facilities and had to wait in line for up to an hour or more for meds that were dolled out without any consideration for the patient. I also had psychiatrist's who would schedule virtually once a week. This was NOT the case at The Retreat. The staff there were awesome! Absolutely ALL of the staff there, especially the doctors and nursing staff, were extremely attentive and knowledgeable. It HONESTLY felt like they cared. I literally cannot say enough great things about the OCD team, led by Jon Hershfield. They were tremendous! I met with Jon or one of his staff nearly every day I was there. Absolute pros! My personal story began at ADC(Atlanta Detox Center) where I was greeted by friendly faces and warm welcomes-I was treated like a human being and comforted through my detox. Then I went on to GATC(Georgia Addiction Treatment Center) for my next level of care-where the same warm welcome was extended. I always felt safe and cared for.
