So so much better than Leominster! Take the extra ten minute drive or refuse ambulance to leominster... Would have rather never gone to hospital thanks to total disrespect and way I was treated in leominster. Clinton was far superior in every way!

What a life changing experience! I have too many good things to say to list them all here. The buildings and the grounds are new and well maintained. The staff are all wonderful and go above and beyond for every client. I got to see first hand how hard everyone, frome the cleaning staff on up to the directors how hard they work for us and how much they care. The clinical staff are so knowledgeable and caring. I felt like everyone there was working on all my issues with such a drive and the highest level of competency. The recovery specialists do a food job of fostering a positive and safe group culture. I was especially impressed with Katie, who's commitment to the clients was demonstrated daily by her caring, upbeat, positive nature and willingness to go above and beyond for every client, all day, everyday. A big thank you to Katie and to Rose, Erin, Nikki and all the others who helped me change my life so drastically for the better in such a short 28 days. There are recovery centers out there doing good work and recovery centers doing great work. This place is doing phenomenal work. They help people make lasting changes in their lives. Thank you all!

This is a wonderful detox and treatment center! They will get you sober and give you the tools and resources that you’ll need to stay sober. Kind, caring, knowledgeable people (Case Managers, Recovery Specialists, nurses, food service staff, cleaning staff), nice, clean facilities, good food! Couldn’t ask for more. The folks at NERC truly care about you and your recovery. Special shout-out to Case Managers Sara, Tara, Brittany, Grace and Diana, as well as Recovery Specialists Pam, Gretchen, Danny, Nikki, Nikyrah, Esmeralda, Lauren, and all others whom I haven’t mentioned by name. Rose is an amazing family therapist. There are a lot of great, caring folks working here who truly want to help you! They also offer free, confidential family support through their Magnolia program. I highly recommend New England Recovery Center for detox and Clinical Stabilization Service (CSS).

I’m currently in blue hills care and have been since may. I was very resistant in the beginning but they are the first PHP program to break down my stubborn walls and help me become open minded to recovering and choosing to improve my mental health for myself. Jodi the clinical director takes time out her to talk to every single client no matter the time. All of the staff that work here have the clients best heart at interest. I relasped and blue hills took me back and I’m better than ever. I’m applying for a job and getting my life back from domestic violence and 22 years of mental illness. I came into this program as an older woman, scared and unsure of what to expect. This was my very first time in treatment, and after coming from an inpatient program where I honestly felt like I was treated more like an animal than a person, I didn’t know what I was walking into. From the first day, the staff and clients made me feel welcome and safe. I wasn’t seen as just a diagnosis here, I was seen as a human being. That meant everything to me. The groups were supportive, the staff truly cared, and I felt like my voice mattered. This program gave me hope and reminded me that healing is possible at any age. I’m grateful I came here and would recommend it to anyone who feels nervous about starting treatment.

I have struggled with my addiction for 20 years now and I’ve been on and off this clinic for several years. Linda is a miracle worker and one of the sweetest people I know. Laura is also the best! I’ve always had awesome clinicians Jim M. has been great to work with and has always been on point with helping me in every situation I come barreling in with!!! I couldn’t ask for a better person to be my clinician… except maybe Derek because he is the man 202 lol thanks Lowell Clinic I’m transferring so farewell for now I never know when I might come back to where I feel most comfortable and most supportive in my recovery!!!

Channing House, which is a Halfway House now operated by Advocates, is probably the most successful men's substance abuse house in Worcester County and probably one of the 5 best or most successful programs in Massachusetts. It is a fully accredited 6 month substance abuse residential program. However, they let me stay for 8 1/2 months because the staff agreed with me that I wasn't ready yet. I've been to well over 25 halfway houses and at least 15 different sober houses...and Channing House is by far the best and most successful program in Worcester County.

This 5 star review is for the anesthesiologist who did my procedure in the endoscopy unit Dr. Catherine Buzney. I wanted to give a heartfelt shout-out to her, she was absolutely wonderful—she had an incredible bedside manner. I was so nervous going in, and she instantly put me at ease. We even shared a few laughs, and she made me feel truly cared for. Her kindness made all the difference.
The hospital itself is beautiful inside and I appreciated how peaceful the atmosphere was—none of the chaotic feeling that some hospitals can have.

Wow, what a completely different experience than I have been used to! I am new to the area and I am accustomed to UMass Memorial and University campuses in Worcester. I was a amazed by the doctor and staff at the Concord ER. I saw Dr Curcio almost immediately, with frequent check-ins. At UMass I would be lucky to see the doctor until discharge! He checked out some extras" that popped up, one being gall stones, that were unrelated to the visit. Well...I was just in ICU/Acute @ UMass for a minute and nothing was EVER said about gallstones, even though I was in for the same reason and had a repeat of the same tests! I am truly floored and amazed at the wonderful care I received on a Friday afternoon. I have told everyone to only come here! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

this program saved my life 2 years ago. if i hadn’t gone here, i would’ve not seen any reasoning to getting sober/clean. i cannot say enough amazing things about MYR. the staff are all very understanding and helpful with everything as they are also most in recovery. they are very kind and the structure with events that are done is amazing. i have such incredible memories here and absolutely phenomenal people i was able to meet and create friendships with outside of MYR. i wish some of the staff could see me now! i am not the same person i was going in there and they are to thank for that.

Hands down this program saved my child's life...... I could go on and on about all of the staff and how amazing they are very caring and professional ! I am an overbearing mom who needs to have the answers, I call.
10 times a day to check on my child.And never once did I ever feel like I was being pushed to the side because I can get annoying.... Which Is the best feeling ever because i'm trusting the care of my precious child To a bunch of strangers. Some of the reviews on here could be pretty scary for a parent trying to find their child some help.But I'm telling you from one parent to another.If it wasn't for this program I don't know where my daughter would be or us as a family.Thank you so much MYR For everything you've done for us and saving my child's life! Since I started going here about 4 years ago I got a great therapist named Justin Mertz. We hit it off on day one and had a great professional relationship up to his untimely death. I was assigned a new therapist named Lindsay Fox. Her and I hit it off great. Lindsay and I are working hard on my care just like I had with Justin. We do a 50/50 conversation. Also I had very good interactions with the Nurse Practitioners at New Beginnings. They all are great and good resources for psychiatric medications. Thank you all at New Beginnings. This place is great for people trying to get help and improve their life. The staff are amazing and the program is top tier. Gorgeous serene location. Not sure many walk down to the pond/lake. Outdoor picnic tables for contemplation. Privacy is a Huge plus adding to focus.
Haven't been there in over a year. I hope it hasn't lost its "run down summer camp" vibe I read in the other review that it's new (renovated) because a lot of charm is in the larger room with books.
Casual with Excellent Experienced Highly empathetic dedicated counselors. They've seen it all. The composition of "Patients" is quite varied. You can have a Professor making buddies with a plumber. I mean this in the best way & you already know that's how it works ideally. I just want to encourage people to not stereotype it as one socioeconomic group or another. But yeah mostly white.

This a very protected environment where you can focus on your treatment with no distractions. The groups are beneficial, the therapy is superb, and the staff is second to none. The facility is new as of writing this and provides a calm and relaxing environment to focus on your recovery and self. As with all programs like this you get what you put into it.
Cant speak highly enough about the staff. They will be there for you anytime and guide you threw the hurdles of addiction and mental health issues.
Thank you to Neakaug and their staff I cant praise you enough. I hope this this program doesnt depart from an excellent program they have working. If you want to stay sober commit to coming here and working their program.

Five stars for our psychiatric nurse practitioner, Sharon Curtin. She has been wonderful from day one and has prescribed with insight and care and helped our child become himself again. Loss of star for the company policy - it is difficult to communicate with the provider between visits due to the company changing policy and providers no longer having a direct extension. Also, there is zero grace if you miss an appointment. Even though we had made every single appointment for a year and a half, we were billed $100 for the first (unintentional) no-show. It's the written policy, but some grace would be appreciated with a track record of reliability. The staff that manages refills and medication questions is great. They are responsive and communicative. Overall, recommend, especially Sharon. Just make sure you don't miss your appointment ever, and ask all your questions when you're with your provider.

My experience with Engage has been nothing but the best! The staff made me feel supported and understood from my first day there, and they truly care about each person’s individual recovery journey. The staff and group sessions helped me open up, learn healthy coping skills, and rebuild my self-confidence. Last I heard Derrick C was there he was doing very well but I think he may have fell into the wrong people such as Elena he has stopped making contact and his family has been calling me looking for him. My dad had to get hernia surgery but the doctors treated him like he was a prince. When we left after dropping him off, they would call us almost every hour to tell us how he’s doing. This may be the best hospital I’ve ever been to. If you sort through many of the reviews, a lot seem to be about billing, but my review is solely about the exceptional medical care I received.
I had open heart surgery performed by Dr. Shaker, and he and his entire team are truly top-tier. Dr. Shaker’s skill is remarkable, and the level of care from his team was outstanding. I was in the hospital for about a week, and even after I was discharged, I could call his team at any time over the following four weeks and receive almost immediate responses—just as if I were right there in person.
I’m incredibly grateful to Lahey Hospital for everything they’ve done for me, from Dr. Shaker’s team to the HCM Clinic. If you have complicated heart issues, I would feel completely confident putting your care in their hands.

I have not received care from this facility, but I almost did. My review is covering my interaction with the office staff.
I had a therapist named Diana from Ferrera's Counseling in the past that was not a good fit for me. When I politely told her I would like a new therapist she went rogue. My impression is that she bypassed the front desk staff in charge of placing me with a new therapist and even her own boss/my previous therapist just to refer me out to Arbour counseling's php program. Diana had told me the referral was for my usual once-a-week therapy, but she lied. Eventually I got a call from Arbour about a week after, and I was pleasantly surprised because getting mental health care is a hard and long process with all the wait lists etc. The person on the phone said there was a billing issue (I confirmed with my ins company though that there shouldn't have been one) and they were calling to confirm my payment method and that I was going for Partial Hospitalization. I was confused. Upon further discussion the employee stated they did find it odd that I was referred for the program as my notes did not make it seem like I was in or recently out of a crisis. I asked if there was a mix up or misunderstanding, but they elaborated saying the note specifically said "m-f 5 hrs a day" and was signed off by Diana, but not her boss. I had reached out to my previous therapist/ the boss/owner of Ferrera's about this issue, but got no response. There may be no reason to be suspicious of php programs, and it was cool to learn they exist in case I ever needed one, but due to how things unfolded I couldn't help but feel wary of the whole situation. To this day I have no idea what I possibly may have dodged if it weren't for the mystery Arbour employee that was simply doing their job and paying attention. This was an event that happened last summer (2022).
