I've never had a problem with BHN in the ten plus years I have been here, the only problem I had which was years ago was the constant switching of therapists, mine always seemed to leave after a month or three of working with me.

I've heard great things from anyone who has ever gone to Mountain Lakes. I decided to go there a while ago and I confirmed everything they told me. All of the staff I've met are very nice and always willing to help me. It's also done me a lot of good to talk to someone about my issues.

The person I took to this facility DID NOT want to go but he needed help so he dealt with it, and he was glad he did by the time he was released. The counselors were knowledgeable and guided them from experience instead of preaching about things they had no clue about. Thank you Cedar Lakes for what you are doing to help people with nothing left in them.

To start, I am someone who has to live everyday by working to manage my several diagnoses... I will always need psychiatric medication and that's ok! I was facing new and extreme insurance issues that prevented me from getting very important psychiatric medication that I've been on for years. Mountain Lakes went above and beyond. In a very scary time for me...)pay $700/mo for one rx which was unfeasible..or be checked into the hospital)... They picked me up and took me to my appts and worked with the insurance company for months until they got my medicine covered! I also felt I wasn't heard during my psych eval and felt I had an additional diagnosis. After a year of therapy and psychiatrist appts, they did amend my diagnosis..they listened to me and had evidence to back their diagnosis. They did right by me. Sarah Dettweiler is the psychiatrist I have been seeing and she's very good at what she does..she's calm and very nice..not intimidating and listens! Brenda..I had an episode at her when I was waiting for my medicine and this sweet lady was always very very nice. Also I had a few counselors I wasn't happy with and they switched me to Brittany...she's truly the best I've ever had. I feel my care is safe in their hands and I trust them!

I had an extremely abusive childhood. It takes a lot for me to learn to open up. I’d been hospitalized over 20 times in 3 years for hurting myself. I never thought I’d be able to get even slightly better. I was told I was going to live in a facility for the mentally ill and disabled. But i have one last try here! I’m harm free for over a year! I have job, car, and house. I’ve succeeded. Thanks to everyone here. And you can too. 💕

They have friendly staff, my therapists were always open to many different situations and help with ways to achieve your goals. I've been receiving their services for more than 10 years, I highly recommend this place for many reasons, but one of them is the excellent service provided by the nurses who work as close as possible to get medication good for the client's needs.

Took my son with Autism’they have been good to him and his therapist melody treats him with love and passion ‘never gets aggressive or aggravated at him’don’t base your decision on this place by google reviews‘most reviews are those mad for different reasons’

At the end of Caleb’s review he is basically says that outreach ministries of Alabama only relies on FAITH. From Caleb’s viewpoint it is negative. But from my viewpoint this has been the ONLY thing that has sustained me from the power of addiction. No doctors ,no amount of medication, nothing from this world helped. I needed something more. Turns out ,FAITH is all that is needed. There is freedom in FAITH of Jesus Christ.

The counselors are very attentive toward the patient's needs, the setting is discreet and pleasant. All the people who work in Alabama Psychological Services Center are professionals dedicated to improving the life to the people who are suffering. They really do care about the patients.

This is the only clinic I've been to that seems to care about their patients all the way through-- the doctors, the therapists, and the front desk always are extremely courteous and considerate. Concerns you voice are taken seriously, and your input is considered regarding your own treatment. I don't want to name any one person, because legitimately, everyone here has been extremely good to me. I'd recommend them.

I have had such a pleasant experiences here. I was tested and evaluated by Dr. Hirsh in 2021. She was extremely kind and very professional. She cares a lot for her job and her patients. I recently have had to get my youngest daughter tested for autism and adhd and so far our experiences have been pleasant. When we couldn't make it to the office, due to sickness, Dr. Hirsh was kind enough to let us keep our appointment and do our appointment through video call. We will have her testing done here soon and I'm sure that will go just as pleasantly as the rest of our visits here.

Went to North Alabama court services for treatment assessment. Was wonderful. People are very courteous and friendly.

This place is very clean and well taken care of. The staff at this establishment are so warm and welcoming. Dr.Jay is my favorite part when i come in. He’s very knowledgeable when it comes to helping me feel safe and comfortable with my medical care. I always leave with helpful resources and a smile on my face.

Jay is awesome! I had a great experience at this office. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient. Doctor Jay was knowledgeable, professional, and took the time to listen to my concerns. He explained everything clearly and answered all my questions. I left feeling confident in the care I received. Highly recommend!!!

I have been to Tampa Florida VA and the Atlanta VA, I don't recommend them, but the VA clinic is superb. Customer service is beyond reproach. The staff are friendly, helpful and answered all questions. The facility is expanding and it is well designed, functional with all the amenities you could ask for. I have been in healthcare for over 50 years and I have never seen a clinic that compares. It is superb. I highly recommend this VA clinic.

So much better since it’s been taken over the only issue I have is that I’ve gotten close to my counselor and everytime I have to tell my whole life story because they leave and they don’t say why but I know there’s a common cause. I’ve had four in the last 7 months and my most recent one just left.

It was always nice place under the elderly couple that used to run it. It's changed into a very cold and distant place lately. Institutionalizing something seems to do that.

Yeah tbh I have no idea why so many negative reviews, I love my therapist and psychiatrist really cool ppl. I’m starting to think a lot of these reviews come from the mental clinic owned by wellstone. The actual wellstone in Cullman has very nice staff and ppl maybe some ppl are delusional asl and is just spreading hate. Just know you guys do amazing work!

Wellstone is not some eutopia were they have a magic want that can cure the issues that you have n I certainly cannot speak for other people's experience. I came to them in the throws of years of untreated mental health and severe drug addiction and while they offered no magic fix. What they gave me was love,support,belief and a path forward. I had to do the work but they gave me the tools that set me up for success. The leaders, counselor and staff have never done anything but support me. They work tireslessy at a job that is far from glamorous. If you are reading this and you face a crossroads of your life and you don't know we're to start. I recommend them with every ounce of my heart. The IOP program is so beautiful and it matters not what baggage you bring. You will be greeted with empathy and without Judgement. I love every therapist ,physician and peer support counselor that I have had. They never gave up on me n what they gave me litterally saved my life and had it not been for them. I would not be here today. Today is the day to start your recovery. 5 million stars

Seen some not great reviews. I liked the prompt quick responses. It was my first contact. Got good vibes. Im a Veteran who has been jerked around a a bit with providers. Give them a shot!

I felt enough confidence with the staff in general that if I ever needed further assistance all I would have to do is go to the administrator's office. They individualize the care they provide you, and that makes x100 times more effective. This place is a port in the storm of life
