The staff and counselors are amazing. It was my first time going to a recovery program and if you can stick out 30 days, they get the rest set up and for a better future during the process. It took me a couple other times to find something good and I left Kansas city specifically for them and plan on sticking with them if I ever need help again in the future. We are so grateful. Most recently, Dr Bader has been my dad's internal medicine doctor. I can't say enough great things about him. He has helped our family navigate through difficult care choices with, grace, compassion and honesty of the reality. As a daughter, it's comforting to know he is that kind of doctor. I had to stay here due to indifferences at my house. My stay was comfortable and peaceful. The other Veterans are kind. My case worker Irene was very hard on me at first lol! After I was admitted in she was kind and loved all of us. Integration was easy. Irene will help you get more % to help in your case. She is there for you. Use her and let her know how you feel. She has been working there for 15 years (KC,Kansas). What an accomplishment. There are others that work with Irene that are just as important to you. You have to do chores but they aren’t large duties. Roger will be on you. It’s good to clean your surroundings makes you feel good. Breakfast isn’t the greatest but, that will change. Yvette serves breakfast she has to have thick skin because she didn’t make the food. She has no control on what is being served. Be nice to her always and your days will go better. Lunch and Dinner are more filling. Blake is one of the cooks trying to make new desserts and new meals. There is a “suggestion box” downstairs so fill it out. They have snack later on in the night. I met Tom from Salvation Army very stand up person he is kind and cordial. They have a gym for basketball and a small workout room. The Veterans I met are my forever brothers. There are so many people here who genuinely want to help. The night staff especially is really amazing and will make you smile. Stick it out through the food and water which are both very gross. (Ask for flavor packets for the water and you’ll be just fine.) It’s worth it. I really wish this place had clocks, though. A lot of patients, myself included were even more anxious that we never knew what time it was and were always asking everyone else. I hated the food so much because it was worse than dog food but hopefully you can find something you like. Because it really is worth it. And then there was Mrs G she got along with us all so fast! What made us so comfortable around her was because when she first came on the unit, she wasn't a stranger at all so warm to all of us and treated us all in the moment and not the past And then there was Mrs L and Mrs C they were hard to warm up to at first but they were my favorite night staff the were so hummurous and there for all of us whether good or bad! And Mrs J she was a gentle lady, loved us all. And Mrs T and Mrs S they were also night staff, a little clumsy with their jobs and how to do things but overall such great care! And there was another staff member she was a nurse Mrs H and she loved me a lot, and always made me smile! and Mr H he always gave great life lessons! and Mr C he does well at his job, but hated a lot BECAUSE he does his job. He get a lot of criticism and that's hard to handle 247! And don't forget MRS R my therapist, she did an amazing job she needs a raise, hahaha! And they had an amazing horse program, I won't say anything anout the therapists though, I didn't have an exact connection with those lovely ladies. Anywho, this Ellie, I discharged 4-26-26 it's almost been two months! And I've been doing amazing with all the hard work you put in to me! Instead of pushing us off, she made a few calls and got us set up with a telehealth visit. Such great service. Obviously they were slammed with in-person and telehealth calls. When I met with the Nurse Practitioner, Caring, she was very kind and informative. She wasn't trying to speed through the call and listened to my concerns and gave advice needed. It's a really good program. The staff and counselors are amazing. It was my first time going to a recovery program and if you can stick out 30 days, they get the rest set up and for a better future during the process. It took me a couple other times to find something good and I left Kansas city specifically for them and plan on sticking with them if I ever need help again in the future.

Took great care of my Dad! Nurses and staff were excellent. Only complaint is the valet service they are super concerned where you park and get rude when you are trying to pick up a sick person. But hey make transport work a little harder and the elderly stay in the heat a little longer as long as you don’t have move away from your fan.

In general, my parents have received great care from the doctors, nurses, staff at Mosaic over the decades. We are so grateful. Most recently, Dr Bader has been my dad's internal medicine doctor. I can't say enough great things about him. He has helped our family navigate through difficult care choices with, grace, compassion and honesty of the reality. As a daughter, it's comforting to know he is that kind of doctor. His approach is so appreciated in stressful circumstances. And to the rest of the staff we've interacted with, my sincere thank you. You all do make a difference.

Salvation Army when I went homeless after the military I didn’t know they had services for veterans like this. The KCVA helped to get into the Salvation Army. I had to stay here due to indifferences at my house. My stay was comfortable and peaceful. The other Veterans are kind. My case worker Irene was very hard on me at first lol! After I was admitted in she was kind and loved all of us. Integration was easy. Irene will help you get more % to help in your case. She is there for you. Use her and let her know how you feel. She has been working there for 15 years (KC,Kansas). What an accomplishment. There are others that work with Irene that are just as important to you. You have to do chores but they aren’t large duties. Roger will be on you. It’s good to clean your surroundings makes you feel good. Breakfast isn’t the greatest but, that will change. Yvette serves breakfast she has to have thick skin because she didn’t make the food. She has no control on what is being served. Be nice to her always and your days will go better. Lunch and Dinner are more filling. Blake is one of the cooks trying to make new desserts and new meals. There is a “suggestion box” downstairs so fill it out. They have snack later on in the night. I met Tom from Salvation Army very stand up person he is kind and cordial. They have a gym for basketball and a small workout room. The Veterans I met are my forever brothers. I will stay in touch after I leave. Thank you Salvation Army for helping me find my way.

I was at Healing House for 3 months and it was the best thing that I could’ve done. They truly prepare you to be on your own and the counselors and staff are amazing. Bobbi Jo is so passionate about what she does and I feel extremely lucky to have been a part of what she does and having the opportunity the community she created. During my time there, it was very rare to see someone relapse or leave before they were strong enough to be on their own and I feel like that is the most telling thing about Healing House. I usually go to St Luke’s Barry Rd, but needed to be seen sooner than later so I took an appointment here at SMITHVILLE. The experience has been wonderful, from the front desk, to the Nurse, lastly to the doctor. Even the lady that took my blood was so kind and quick! They were very engaging and really listened to my concerns, which is so important to me. I recommend this St Luke’s 100%!!!

To anyone reading this who is thinking about checking themselves in for mental health purposes, or maybe you’re on the way there and wondering what to expect: You will get better here. There are so many people here who genuinely want to help. The night staff especially is really amazing and will make you smile. Stick it out through the food and water which are both very gross. (Ask for flavor packets for the water and you’ll be just fine.) It’s worth it. I really wish this place had clocks, though. A lot of patients, myself included were even more anxious that we never knew what time it was and were always asking everyone else. I hated the food so much because it was worse than dog food but hopefully you can find something you like. Because it really is worth it. Especially if you meet Richie, Phil, Lori, Dr. Perry and the therapists. Also Greta the doggy.

Got the best help😁 Mrs and Mrs D were the highlights of my days always so funny to hear about their childs latest shanangin! And their is another staff member, she is very confidential so no names but when we where down she got us started paper, it was that little kind gesture that made us all so happy, and then there is Mrs H she is so sweet and gentle always there if you needed to talk. And then there was Mrs G she got along with us all so fast! What made us so comfortable around her was because when she first came on the unit, she wasn't a stranger at all so warm to all of us and treated us all in the moment and not the past And then there was Mrs L and Mrs C they were hard to warm up to at first but they were my favorite night staff the were so hummurous and there for all of us whether good or bad! And Mrs J she was a gentle lady, loved us all. And Mrs T and Mrs S they were also night staff, a little clumsy with their jobs and how to do things but overall such great care! And there was another staff member she was a nurse Mrs H and she loved me a lot, and always made me smile! and Mr H he always gave great life lessons! and Mr C he does well at his job, but hated a lot BECAUSE he does his job. He get a lot of criticism and that's hard to handle 247! And don't forget MRS R my therapist, she did an amazing job she needs a raise, hahaha! And they had an amazing horse program, I won't say anything anout the therapists though, I didn't have an exact connection with those lovely ladies. Anywho, this Ellie, I discharged 4-26-26 it's almost been two months! And I've been doing amazing with all the hard work you put in to me! All with love - bluey🩵

I've been a client here since 2011, and I'm so grateful. It's a life saver, but like all recovery clinics you can only get out of it what you put into it. It's easy to blame others when things go wrong, but it's almost always our fault! I had a very hard time, until I stopped arguing and followed direction! They know about recovery, all I knew was self destruction, but thought I was so smart! Now I'm doing really good. This place is great. Update: It's now called Rediscover Transitions, staff is great, doctors great! Give it a shot if you need it!

I am so happy I was referred to the guidance center. After suffering several crises, I didn’t know where to turn and ended up inpatient . After coming out of inpatient care, I was so nervous to go back to daily life. I was referred to the Giidence Center and the team that I have working with me are amazing! Dr. Lima’s Is an excellent dentist and cares greatly for his patience he is bilingual which works out great for me because I have had a stroke and I am also bilingual and sometimes I cannot remember words in English or Spanish so I just speak in whichever language comes to my mind. I have a very small mouth and I should’ve had orthognathic surgery 30 years ago so fitting me for dentures is very difficult and he is taking the time to do this which I appreciate a great deal. I love this doctor's office!! I have rarely had a problem with getting an appointment, even with the pandemic (using tele-health). Dr.Irby, and all of the staff listen to you. They always answer my questions, and if they don't know what is going on with you, they will refer you to someone who will find out. If you have a medical need, and you want a no nonsense, straight answer, go to this clinic!!

This season has been hard with illness, and all of the doctors are booked for days. My 5yo is non-verbal autistic, and we can't wait in a waiting room, hoping to be squeezed in. I called Hamilton Medical Clinic and spoke to Kim. She was so kind and helpful. Instead of pushing us off, she made a few calls and got us set up with a telehealth visit. Such great service. Obviously they were slammed with in-person and telehealth calls. When I met with the Nurse Practitioner, Caring, she was very kind and informative. She wasn't trying to speed through the call and listened to my concerns and gave advice needed. Great experience all-around (as great as one can be for a sick kiddo anyways) ☺️
