I don't understand why when I ask to speak to my primary that I have to play the transfer game for 30min just to get to the right extension, that is if I dont get hung up on. This is nothing new, welcome to the VA. I try to call and somehow my call is being sent up to East Orange. Noone wants to help, it's always let me transfer you. I get it that the Brick facility just closed and is now in Tom's River, but this issue has been going on since I started using VA healthcare...

Well they asked me to call the and the number says it's disconnected. They also being that I'm a Veteran that I'm disqualified from getting the mental I need because of my income. This After psychiatrist that initially saw me said that I suffered from PTSD? I have a question what in the hell does my financial situation have to do with me suffering from PTSD because I'm a veteran that served? That shouldn't even matter the point is that I'm a veteran that needs help. I get it there's a lot of veterans that do not have the means to see a doctor but I shouldn't be discriminated against because I have a job and I work and I have benefits. The veterans association need to get it together they really do I'm so disappointed by this.

It's an over all good place to help get yourself together and learn more about yourself and the counselors and therapists are very good at helping you

My experience has enlightened me and inspired my path of what they call treatment and recovery which I renamed Training staff is impeccable and caring. Upon arrival I was welcomed by Melissa with open arms and a huge smile that made me want to stay instead of run away like most. Most Techs are great even knowing they are 1/2 my age. The ones that stand out most as super stars are Jeff N, Terrance. Darrell and Matt. Therapist super stars are Jamie. Alexis and Matt. I am extremely happy with my choice and am sober and loving life. I have been integrated into Legacys treatment for A DAY and the staff, community, as well as the setting is nothing like any other experience; They provide lunch and other food for anytime, the staff call out our flunks, therapy is provided at the highest quality once or twice a week, an inhouse doctor prescribes and stays up to date on your medication journey. The sweetest and most beautiful ladies work the front desk, Shoutout Melissa!

I went to RCA three years ago, and I can honestly say they saved my life. When I arrived, I was completely consumed by my addictions and had no idea how to climb out. This place gave me the tools, structure, and support I needed to rebuild myself from the inside out. The staff truly cares. They don’t just treat you, they teach you. I learned coping skills, accountability, and how to face life without numbing everything. They helped me understand my patterns, break them, and replace them with healthier habits. Even now, years later, I still use what I learned there. I walked in broken and walked out with hope, clarity, and a future. The great outweigh the frustrations. The staff in the building are capable, competent, compassionate, patient, and truly wonderful! They helped me unlock so much in my recovery, and I left my 30 day treatment feeling like a truly new man. I feel like Im a version of myself that I didn’t know existed. I have such supreme admiration for the boots on the ground: Marguerite, Kelly, Sheets, and Jeff, to the case managers (shoutout Maggie), to the group leaders like Betty, Scott, Nick, Donald, Kevin, Rob, Ben, to the nursing and RSS staff, the cleaning staff, and kitchen staff. They all contributed in saving my life. The frustrations stem from the negligence at the top levels of this company. There were several situations, and altercations that put the patients hygeine, safety, and ultimately, sobriety in jeopardy due to extreme budget cuts. The “interim ceo” peacocks around the hallways, and when directly adressed by patients with issues about patients concerns, he smugly passes the buck and ignores said issues. If it werent for these frustrations, this place could be the gold standard for recovery. For these reasons, I give the staff a 9 out of 5, and the pencil pushers a resounding 0 out of 5.

I spent 30 days there counselor were helpful in my recovery. RCA brought outside recovery for us which was a big help. I have been sober ever since I left 2 1/2 years ago.

RCA Lighthouse is doing incredible things! The staff from the CEO to food services to the Support staff and so on are second to none. This is an experience you will not find at other treatment centers. The facility is clean and comfortable and the program is fantastic. If you need treatment, call RCA Lighthouse!

I received the help I needed to turn my life around. Everyone works very hard to help the patients recover here. I learned so much about myself and what was causing my addiction. The rooms and food were also very nice.

Awesome place if you want to get sober and are serious about it. Haley who works at the front desk is the most sweetest, helpful, caring staff member I've ever had the pleasure of working with in regards to my sobriety and staff at a facility. She is always open and honest l. She's never guided me in the wrong direction. Honestly she works so hard in taking care of us clients and what we need that sometimes it feels like I'm not doing enough for my own recovery. If you're nervous about taking the next step in your recovery as I was never have been to a PHP before. She makes sure that it's a smooth transition. Honestly the only way you could think Haley or the rest of the staff isn't doing enough for you is if you're so lazy and aren't really serious about your recovery that you just expect everyone to do everything for you. I. That case you may need a higher level of care. Because I've never been so excited and felt like I had the help I need in my recovery as I do in sober solutions and working with Haley. The amount of hard work she puts in for us clients and her job is what I strive for in my recovery.

I have all good things to say about this program. I was not planning on continuing treatment in New Jersey, but the director of the program came and talked to me in detox and explained the benefits and calmed my anxiety about the whole process. He told me about the women's house manager, Val, and he said there is no one else he would recommend to take care of his clients. He said that if he could send everyone to live under Val, he would. I am happy to say that even that was an understatement for Val. Big personality, big passion for recovery and so much love for her girls. From the day I stepped onto Val's doorstep, I felt welcomed, valued and truly cared for. From the beginning she displayed confidence in me and a real desire for me to be there. Val is the reason that house is a home, and for a woman like me, who literally lost everything this year, that made a world of difference. The unity and sisterhood I experienced at sobriety solutions sober living reminded me that connection is the antidote to addiction. Thank you Val, and Mike, and all of sobriety solutions staff! You carried me through a very difficult time, away from my family and in a delicate emotional state. You continue to text and check on me, celebrating my wins and helping me through triggers and tough moments. I am proud to be an alumni of this program and would highly recommend it to anyone who is serious about getting sober and finding a new way to live.

I can’t say enough good things about our house manager, Val. She truly went above and beyond every single day to make sure we were cared for and supported. Her dedication, patience, and compassion never went unnoticed. She didn’t just do her job—she genuinely cared, and you could feel it in everything she did. Whether it was checking in on us individually, handling things behind the scenes, or just being there with a kind word or a listening ear, she made a real difference in our lives. I would like to thank all the wonderful people I met at Soba.. from the nurses "Julie" and all the techs staff. They are an amazing group of people.. this place really knows how to do it. It's so clean and the food is something that I can't explain how good it was. I mean we had lamb chops for lunch full salad bar with a gourmet chef. I banged head alittle with clinical staff only to realize they were trying to help me. To which I am truly sorry about. I spent 4 weeks there and even the other patience became like family was truly a wonderful group that made all the difference. I'm not going to say it was all fun but through bouts of depression and PTSD! Things can really get dark... And I really want to thank Mike C for helping through my darkest period.. He sat with me and talked to me about what I need to do and how to get through what I was dealing with and I never had someone to help me like that before. I was all alone. "Thanks Mike "I can't really get into it here but he gave me advice that I will carry always. I'm so glad that I went to soba. It was exactly what I needed to get my life back in order and I can't thank them enough. If you or a loved one need help with this Disease. I promise you that you will not regret trusting this professional group of people.its a small group of people I think I had 7 other patients besides myself. So the level of care is perfect.im clean and im staying clean and my goal is to help people. Even its just one person thats all it will take to satisfy me. One of the best decisions I've made in my life was enrolling in SOBA'S Drug & Alchohol treatment facility located at 104 Bayard street in New Brunswick, NJ. I was only doing detox for 7 days but after experiencing the kind of care provided I decided to move up to residencial for 19 more days. The staff, from technicians, clinicians, nurses, doctors, maintenance and kitchen, are all experienced professionals that took their time with each client to make us all feel welcomed, comfortable and safe. They all thrive in a very stressful environment and always go the extra mile to meet all our needs. From group interactions to one on one therapy to administrative work, all areas are covered so as clients, we don't have to worry about the outside world. They give us the tools to beat addiction and become a better version of ourselves. They create an environment of camaraderie were all are rowing in the same direction. Mike, the director of the facility, makes you feel like an old friend and he's always available to make sure one gets the best treatment possible. Residential clients have daily access to a state of the art gym facility with pools, saunas and steam rooms. The food provided is outstanding and there's more than enough snacks available at all times. We have daily meeting from members of different fellowships like NA, AA and Smart Recovery. It was really hard to say goodbye as I move on to the next phase of my journey in sobriety. I'll never forget this experience and was the right place to take my first steps towards achieving sober living for the rest of my life. Can't thank all of them enough.

Great place. Spent several months at Soba, first at Duke Street, then here for sober living. All the clinical staff and the techs were outstanding. Best of all is the environment at Soba, which was always positive and encouraging. Soba was a great resource for me in a difficult time. I would recommend this place to anyone seeking treatment in New Jersey.

Of course every place has their flaws, however I've never met a staff that truly cared so much for the patients. This isn't a job to them its a way of life. From the techs, to clincial staff, therapist and the higher ups. Nothing during my time there fell on deaf ears. Id advise anyone coming to treatment there to swallow your pride and be open and listen. A brief background of myself, im very opinionated and strong willed so of course I knew everything or at least I thought I did. The staff here really did everything they could to reassure me over and over that I can get better. I just needed to get out of my own way. They were 100% correct. The techs always made me feel like this wasn't a house it was my home. People like Andy, Melanie, Leigh Ann, Amethyst, Jose, Stan and of course my OG Allison have always shown me that mine and my fellow housemates best interest was always top priority. Their stories and generosity is truly inspiring. I never felt judged or unwelcome They really care about each and everyone of us. They may be on the ground floor regarding job titles but they definitely are the foundation that keeps this facitly standing. The clinical staff such as Max, Morgan, Curtis, Michelle, MK, their doors are always open when needed. Whether they're running groups or plugging away in their offices they are always willing to stop and listen in the time of need. They too along with the techs are going to be your biggest cheerleaders towards a better life a sober life. While you will notice vast differences in some of their approaches PLEASE keep your ears open because they all reached me in different ways even though I didn't see the value they offered right away. Collectively, its a excellent group to learn from. While my time with Alex a therapist was limited it was very insightful and gave me a different way to see things that definitely resignated with me. As for my personal therapist Jackie, she was amazing. Her door was always open whether it was to pop in an say hi when I needed to vent or just shoot the breeze. Our sessions together allowed me to open up to a point I never had before. Even during her groups she may come off fun and playful, but there is a method to everything. Last but certainly not least, listen to your peers in those rooms. They come from all different backgrounds, gender, race age etc. They offer true wisdom and real life experiences. I personally never met a sober addict that didn't light up a room. These people will teach you more than you could imagine if youre willing to listen and do the work. Ill leave you with this, all of the above comes from someone who has been to 2 detox, 3 other rehabs, never lasting more than 6 total days. Banyan and their staff and clients made me feel at home while I battled through and not for a second did I ever feel alone while I was there. My goal now is to get my life back and whether it happens or not is upto me and me alone but Banyan gave me the tools I need to have a fighting chance, so thank you. KR

One of the best outpatient centers in NJ. The environment is very welcoming, clean, and well organized. The staff are friendly and helpful in all aspects. Would 100% recommend this place to anyone whose considering it.

I've been on alot of clinics over the past thirty seven years, and I always thought the Net was the worst. But amazingly I find it to be one of the best clinics I've ever been on. My counselor is great. The doctor I have is very understanding. The nurses are good people but theirs always an acception. Nine out of ten go the extra mile for you.

Definitely recommend this place if you struggling to get your life back on track and to start a new life.

I have worked with Discocery institute for years. I personally referred a dear friend recently and from their outreach team, to their clinical team to their nursing staff, everyone was so compassionate and helpful. Every experience I have ever had with them I left feeling so supported. If you are thinking of going to Discocery or looking into it for someone you love look no further.

I am a volunteer with a nonprofit sober living. A lot of our residents have been to Discovery Institute and maintained sobriety. A common thing I hear them say about Discovery is how cared for they felt. They were treated like humans. Highly recommend.

The positive impact on my life and recovery has been a HUGE BLESSING on my life and recovery.I have been at the facility now 30 days, I talked to my counselor Jess about long term stay because I feel that is what I need, she was right on top of it and got me approved. SO GREATFUL!! Also have been in the re-entry program with Alaina, who runs the group. I had the most eye opening experience at an outside AA meeting. For the 1st time ever, I raised my hand and shared at the meeting!! I cant tell you how super greatful I am to her for giving me that opportunity. It helped me to realize it really isn't that scary at all, to share at a meeting even being the new guy there. So thank you all so much for ALL THE POSITIVE EXPERIENCES!!

Since coming to Pyramid Langhorne, and after 40 years of trying to get sober ; I've finally came to believe that I have totally surrendered and stopped fighting. Each day keeps getting better and better. I know that it has to do with my willingness, but the main reason is because of the staff. Most times I am just blown away, in how they exude recovery, respect, and genuine concern about my life and happiness. This place is so unique, and I wish that everything with an addiction could have this experience. 👍
