I took them out and switched her to preferred and now she sees Megan and WOW she is doing so much better she’s so much more communicative and open her behavior has drastically changed and I feel like I’ve got my child back. I recommend them to anyone that sees that their child is going through a rough time. Let alone their all pretty outside and inside. The faculty itself very clean, fast multiple windows. Place has greatly effected my life for the positive. My counselor Tess is amazing caring,. compassionate as well as Linda. IV yet to have a negative experience. If you need help this place is where you wanna go. I can't say enough positive things about the staff and facility. I'm super greatful to have them. Going here was one of the best decisions I made. They did test bloodwork and they found out. I also want to sincerely thank the charge nurse (a blonde woman, possibly in her 50s ,unfortunately I did not catch her name) for going above and beyond to help optimize my mother’s pain management. I have constant UTIs due to having nephrostomy tubes bilaterally. Everybody has been good especially nurses Justin and Jill and maintenance worker digna. Only problem I have is every time I'm here I'm always waiting on the infectious disease doctor fruity tutti who never comes in and apparently makes all her decisions on the computer rather and actually seeing a patient. The one time she did come in a few months ago I couldn't understand a word she was was saying. So I would need a translator. Denis Bilups was really there for me and the group meetings on Wednesday morning were great he really knew how to control the room and have people unlock their emotions that you wouldn’t even think some of these people had. I found out a lot about myself and grew as a person for the better. The evening meetings I wasn’t so fond of Denis didn’t do them was other people. Seemed like the people who didn’t take it seriously went in the evening just to get it over with. But I would highly recommend going to Jewish family center and definitely attending Wednesday morning groups with Denis, he makes it personal and his method works and I’m forever grateful. Chelsea Cermak 2 years ago I was referred to Jewish family services 4 months ago, at first I was reluctant when they told me I would be attending IOP 3x a week, but tried to go in with a positive attitude. Over the course of several weeks, my attitude shifted from not wanting to go into looking forward to my groups. The staff is excellent from the front desk to the counselors. Deshonda was great and my counselor Dannis helped me work through a lot of personal things that I’d been avoiding for years, to my surprise. All in all I feel like I truly got something out of this program, groups were more based on personal dialogue rather than just putting on a video and leaving the class to watch. The nurses who prepped me took the time to explain everything that they were doing, and why they were doing it while they shared their expertise. They also made me feel as though a family member was caring for me. Each and every one of the nurses that tended to me I can’t thank enough for the way that they handled me made me feel comfortable and relaxed for my procedure. After being prepped my Cardiologist, Dr. Thomas Breen came in and explained everything to me as to what the procedure would entail, there aren’t enough superlatives in the dictionary or the English language to be able to make everyone feel the way that I felt. While in the operating room, each one of the professionals that were handling the various steps needed for the procedure. carried on the way that The prep team made me feel. I was told that it wasn't an issue. They were ordering mouse wads as far as drug testing goes then I find out weeks later, but that's not going to be allowed and I can get a doctors note and they may or may not honor it. Then I was told the groups were 6-9 Tuesday Wednesday Thursday. I had inquired about afternoon groups as that's really late at night, I was told that Tuesday morning there was an afternoon group and there was an instrument in Friday morning group. Oh well again Jake gave me misinformation because he didn't even bother to look in my files to know that I was at level IOP not OP therefore I wouldn't be able to do the Tuesday morning or Friday afternoon. Intermittent Group, and also not telling me that Monday night was also an option as well as Friday nights being an option. Edit to update my review. Although there was weeks of misinformation given by Jake, I decided to just ask to speak with someone else I've been in contact with Carissa and she has been extremely kind and has been very helpful into getting this process started. Thank you Carissa Edit again: all though getting enrolled wasn't the most ideal process I can say the groups are really great and the counselors are all so kind. Dana has such a huge heart as do they all and they do all truly care about the clients.
