Alina Lodge has an incredible team and a truly welcoming, supportive environment. The staff are compassionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about helping people succeed. My experience at Alina Lodge was truly life-changing. When I arrived, I was at one of the lowest points in my life, unsure if recovery was even possible for me. The staff, clinicians, and facilitators welcomed me with compassion, patience, and genuine care. From the very beginning, they created an environment where I felt safe enough to be honest about my struggles and begin the difficult work of recovery. The clinicians at Alina Lodge are incredibly knowledgeable and dedicated. They helped me understand the underlying causes of my addiction and gave me the tools I needed to start rebuilding my life. The facilitators brought wisdom from their own experiences and guided our groups with empathy and understanding. Every day they showed up committed to helping each of us grow, even when we didn’t believe in ourselves. Thank you!

Alina Lodge saved my life. The people who work there (counselors, nurses, facilitators and office staff) genuinely care about guests and recovery. I just passed 90 days and I'm confident that I will stay on my recovery journey. And the food in the dining hall is AMAZING. The entire structure of the program is built to ensure that guests succeed in recovery if they are serious about it. They also do a wonderful job introducing guests to both the AA and NA programs. Highly recommended.

Sunrise cherry hill was a godsend. The nurse Sydney is absolutely the sweetest person you'll ever meet. I went there over a year ago and and she remembered me and made sure my stay there was comfortable. Unfortunately I've stayed at quite a few other facilities and NEVER was treated with such respect and kindness that she treated me with. She deserves a raise lol! On the other hand..I made a very good friend in my time staying there..we kept in touch and we were both struggling. I was trying to be a good girlfriend and put my own health aside waiting waiting for him. I now know know that I need further assistance than just detox . He's not even. Being a decent human being/and/or being nice about it. I tried called the Sterling location 5 times where my friend is. She told me there is in IN FACT beds available but the person on the phone wasnt so friendly..almost demeaning. He said "just because there's beds available doesn't mean there's beds available". I was very confused...almost like he didn't want to help me save my life. And he was just annoyed to be answering the phone. He told me over and over in an annoyed and stern voice as I was in tears to call back at 9am. Im just lucky im not someone who is WAY more fragile and sensitive amd nothing terrible happened 🥺

I am a spouse of an individual that just completed a 28 day inpatient treatment plan. To be honest I am not even sure how we ended up with this provider, however it ended up being a true blessing. Not only was my husband taken good care of, I received several calls from his clinician to provide updates regarding his status, but also them checking on how I was doing and asking if I had any questions/concerns. I was also given their contact numbers in case I needed to reach them at any point. My family feels very fortunate that our Husband/father ended up at this facility.

I'm writing this for the creative person who thinks rehab is gonna be all lectures and coping skills worksheets and compliance training...or new agey feel good enabling BS. (because I went through that at another place…and I’m a feisty, rebellious performer, who fell all the way to hell through my addiction.) Moving Mountains is an adventure based program. And that's not just "fun." that’s a major part of the treatment…hiking, skiing, ropes course…Healthy risks…Movement. self Mastery. Making something…learning that I can DO things that make me feel better…They teach you how to deal with crap on the deepest levels, to get it out. So like…in my case…there is less to want to escape. Easier to stay sober. Joy…peace…fun. Stress: life. Tools Sobriety doesn't have to be gray and grim. It can light up your brain as much as getting high did. I mean that…kinda literally. Skydiving…for real…if you do the work…it’s part of the program. At completion. It's not a "creative arts program." BUT: creative work is an option. For me it was a key. A Big key. I had no idea how much my creative shutdown and grief were feeding my addiction…really, almost no idea. I am a singer. And I saw people transform through singing (like me…), guitar, piano, making beats, DJing, poetry, dance, voice work...even building comedy routines. You could literally see someone's eyes and posture shift over days. The staff are Actually client centered. At Moving mountains, that means you're treated like a human being. Not a diagnosis and not a compliance project. They help you remember want you want, connect you to your dreams again. They don't “punish you into right thinking.” That’s still a very common approach, I’ve heard from so many people in recovery meetings. But there are boundaries and clear expectations...because that's what actually leads to an easier, fun life. I was not the easiest client. I had to learn to be patient and respectful…not just to others. To myself. It's also not 12 step only preaching club. Super strong recovery culture...but you're allowed to explore what works for you, (there's even a Zen teacher who comes!) The housing is for real beautiful and in beautiful communities. Not "nice for rehab." Actually nice. It's weird to miss rehab. Like a paradox. But I do. My time at Moving Mountains has been one of the greatest gifts of my life.

I can’t say enough good things about Jonathan from Excel . From the moment I started working with him, he made me feel genuinely comfortable and welcomed, which is not easy when you’re dealing with something as personal as addiction. He has a way of creating a safe, judgment-free space where you can actually open up without hesitation. Jonathan is extremely knowledgeable, and it shows in how he approaches every conversation with care and intention. He doesn’t just listen—he really understands, and he’s very mindful of your feelings and personal experiences. I felt respected and never rushed or dismissed. Out of all the counselors I’ve worked with in drug and alcohol treatment, Jonathan has been the best by far. His professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail truly set him apart. I’m very grateful for the support he’s given me.

Pretty good. I don't think I'd want to do the long term sober house there but the ranch really rocks. The food is unreasonably good and the staff avoids ridiculous treatment plans (for me anyhow). I'm pretty sure some drama was going on there but you know, welcome to Water Gap

to put it simply: I loved my time at the WGW inn during the course of my treatment, the rooms and bedding were comfortable, the food was good, and there was a lot of activities to do at night if we didn't want to use our devices (which is allowed by the way!), and if we didn't want to stay in the inn, we were able to leave and go out to movies, food, etc, which was a big plus in my book! Only downside to it is that they will wake you up at 7am for groups and will keep coming into your room every 5-10 minutes to make sure you are up, and the techs will stand over you while you take meds, but you get used to it.

I was so lucky to get the help I desperately needed from WaterGap wellness. This is a beautiful relaxing resort. The meals are delicious and nutritious! The rooms are what you would expect at a 5 star 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 resort! My house keeper's name was Rosa, and she was phenomenal! All of the staff was always so helpful with anything I needed and always there if I just needed to talk ❤️ if we needed to talk to a therapist there was always one on call 24 hours a day! We went on walks and were able to catch an Uber to go to stores, the movies, or for a day out on the town. They also transport you to AA meetings if you want to do that! They transport you to and from group 6 days a week. Group is wonderful and very informative. Group starts at 8:15am with "coffee talk" and it gives everyone a chance to check in. You can talk about any issues you are having and your peers and the therapist will give feedback if you are open to it. There are 6 groups when you first start in PHP. You get to choose your group for the following week with your therapist, there are multiple groups with different objectives going on every hour. If you are in one group and it isn't something you like or its just not something you are interested in, you are welcome to leave and try a different one. You will then step down to IOP5 and groups are Monday- Friday and you get 3 groups a day. Then IOP 4 is the same, but Monday- Thursday, then the last step is IOP 3, Monday- Wednesday. When you complete this, they offer aftercare as well! They also have affordable housing if you need it so you can transition back into the world. They also will help with finding a job if you need it. WaterGap never makes you feel alone or defeated. You also get to meet with your therapist 2 times a week for one hour, and with your psychiatrist 1 time a week for one hour. If you need them, they are always in the building. There's also many therapists available if you need something and your personal therapist is not available. I absolutely love this place. Today I am 2 months sober, and I couldn't have done it without the team at WaterGap!!

SHOUT OUT to the staff here..I have been to many many rehabs, and there is something different about these people, and this place..they are in my opinion, Earth Angels. No judgement, they really just want to help and are good humans! Also, the way they go about treatment, I felt really cared about , from the 1st day. I need a higher level of treatment but I will be going to Outpatient there after.. I can't recommend this place enough. They have no hard chairs that your ass goes numb from sitting in for hours, they have leather, lazy boy chairs, in the entire place, they have a quite room where you can rest if you are detoxing or dont feel good, they feed you great food, they have snacks and sodas and I was literally told "think of this place as your home away from home" and from the clinical staff, the nursing staff, the Dr., they're all special people. xoxoxoxo

Wellness Hills was the perfect place for me and heres why. Being located in Chester it made getting here very accessible. I did the IOP program which offered both virtual and in person group sessions making it easy to always get to group, as well as become more accessible to people struggling to leave their home (me). My personal therapist was Abby, she did an amazing job running groups as well as the one on one sessions. She was very empathetic but also knew when to lighten the mood, and above all felt like she was always there to help me. No matter what struggles you are going through the people here care, which goes for all of the therapists, group members, as well as the program director Leigh who was always available to answer any questions you had. The psychiatrist Paula was also very helpful particularly regarding Gene-sight which is a test they offer - allowing you to get genetic testing to see what medications work best for you which was a personal game changer for me after months of trial and error with medications. That being said, I would highly recommend giving Wellness Hills a chance if you are going through mental health issues as they have been nothing but great to me.

I had to sign my son in here yesterday. He is Autistic and is having some serious mental health challenges at this time. At intake all of the nurses are very kind to me and I could overhear them sweet talking him up the hall which made me feel very comfortable because they did not know I could hear what they were saying. They were very patient and kind with my sweet boy. Today I received a call back quickly to give me an update and let me know his visiting dates as well as what to bring him. The doctor has already seen him and made some changes to his meds and they seem to be very attentive to his needs so far. I went to this facility for a planned same-day surgery. The facility is very clean and modern appearing. The staff were all very kind and knowledgeable. I was rather anxious leading up to the procedure and the nurses were excellent with thoroughly explaining what to expect. This, coupled with excellent bedside manner helped to calm my nerves. This was my first time at this facility but based on my experience, I would highly recommend!

We unfortunately, had to take my daughter into the emergency room Saturday night to get stitches put in. She is only three years old.Leah and The team of nurses were excellent they took care of my daughter, and they supported me as a parent. The best decision was to take her there and I am so grateful my daughter is recovering amazingly. They did everything right. I am beyond grateful for them.

I went in for an outpatient procedure on 10/27 and the staff was very kind and accommodating. PreOP RN Tori C made that moment in time less intimidating and provides all the care and comfort I needed.

Best sober living in NJ. Really nice, spacious, comfortable home (that’s an actual photo in the profile) in a quiet, safe, classy neighborhood with easy access to main thoroughfares/highways. Residents get relatively more freedom than their peers at other sober homes, but while still getting all the support they want/need. There are rules to follow of course, like regular testing to ensure sobriety, but for the most part it’s not a universal set of restrictions, but rather a unique system of support/care tailored to each individual. The case manager is on site M-F, and they and the owner are just incredible people, a delight to be around & get to know, and are genuinely invested in each & every resident’s success in all facets of life. Can’t say enough about this place!

I have been here since October 17, 2025 and my experience has been very good since I first got here. The house is very clean and helps to have cleaning service every other week. I was only planning on stay in for 2 months but now I don't have plans to leave anytime soon. I have lived in a halfway in Del Ray Beach, F.L. a sober cowboy ranch in Washington State, Oxford Houses including one in Rumson, NJ and this is my favorite sober living so far. It also helps to have a good crew of men that I currently live with. Having two TV rooms, high-end kitchen, high-end W/D, and being tucked away on a side street of nice neighborhood make this experience a worthwhile one during my early recovery.

My experience at Cambridge Recovery has been exceptional. The house as a whole flows and there’s just a good energy about the place, it’s clean, relaxing, nice beds, and a safe place in a nice quiet neighborhood. Cambridge Recovery Sober Living is beautiful, it’s a step above traditional sober living environments. The individuals who live at Cambridge want to be sober and change their lives for the positive, that was a huge decided factor for why I chose this house. Big shoutout to Abbie and Howard for the opportunity to embark on this new sobriety journey of mine and their ongoing support and guidance during this transition period of my life. Thank you for all that you do and helping me when I was broken lost and needed guidance. I’ll certainly be paying it forward. If you want to be sober surrounded around a bunch of guys chasing the same goal, this is the place you want to be. Thank you 🙏 Ronan Ash
