They monitor and help stabilize clients as they withdraw from opioids, alcohol, cocaine, benzodiazepines or combined substances. New Vision at Jefferson Stratford Hospital specializes in detox and withdrawal management for adults with substance use disorder. They are located in Stratfo | Treatments | I was able to get into the program with no effort. Covered by my health insurance company, it was effortless to be accepted.
Honestly, everything is still a blur as my brain has to reprogram. I went through the procedures in February 2025 and have been free of my vices since then.
As I wrote, I dont remember much but an feeling of safety and the kindness offered by the entire staff. The nursing staff was always there to ensure that the procedure was painless. There was no pressure, just peace.
The food service was impeccable and I did not want for anything. Food was delivered by the food service staff promptly and efficiently.
This was the best thing that I could have done.
Please get professional help to ensure that your detox is safe for you or your family member.
I am so grateful for being lead to this facility.

New vision has been the most caring and attentive for my Suboxone withdrawal and recovery. They are also helping with aftercare (in and out of treatment) along with housing/food services once discharged.
Matt & Taylor have gone above and beyond for me and all other staff have been amazing.
Thank you to everyone at this facility for a comfortable and low stress experience. I can never thank you all enough for your kindness and willingness to listen.
I would recommend this facility to anyone going through any kind of detox. You will not be disappointed.

I rarely write reviews, but I had to write on my experience at Jefferson Hospital and their New Vision Withdrawal department. I had called New Vision and spoke with Matt. Matt went above & beyond to get me in here the same day I called. I thought I wasn't going to get in because of no beds available, but Matt got me in!
When I first came in, I was a mess, crying hysterically and felt loss. Matt, had done the intake with me and I went outside to have my last cigarette before admission with Matt. Matt told me his story and how he made it, I felt hopeless at the time but when Matt got me situated in the room, I was feeling a little more comfortable.
The nurses, technicians and doctors are great! They helped me with my time as I was withdrawing. They are very friendly, kind and are amazing. I went through hell with my withdrawal, and they were there every step of the way to make me comfortable and to help me detox. Although I had support from family, I felt supported in here. Words can't express how this facility comforted me and encouraged me to stop doing what I was doing.
My doctor (Dr. Rancier) was awesome with me, and showed the care I wanted and needed. I felt like he understood me and worked with me.
But going back to Matt, who was there for me the entire time and would come up to check in with me. He felt like a friend and someone who cared. He had gone above & beyond for me, making sure I was taken care of and that I would receive my aftercare after leaving the facility. If Matt ever sees this review, thank you for saving my life and taking me in. Without you, I would still be on the same road of destruction.
Other than my express about these amazing people, the hospital is very clean, sanitized and well kept. The food is good and had some good TV channels.
If you are looking to withdrawal and get clean, please, PLEASE come to New Vision at Jefferson Hospital in Stratford, NJ. As you will be treated amazingly and you won't feel like you're going through it alone. They will take care of you and help you detox with ease.
Thank you again Jefferson Hospital and New Vision Withdrawal Management in Stratford, NJ.

The case manager assigned to me handled things I didn't even know I needed to deal with. FMLA paperwork, insurance questions, stuff related to my job. I came in focused entirely on getting sober and didn't have the headspace for logistics. Having someone specifically there to handle that made it possible to actually focus on the program.

One thing I didn't expect to care about was being able to keep my phone. After coming from a detox program where everything got taken away, having access to my cell made a real difference. I could check in with my family, stay connected to my life outside, and not feel completely cut off from the world while doing the actual work.

Therapy has helped me understand myself better, manage life's challenges with more confidence, and build healthier habits. It's been a great reminder that asking for support is a strength, not a weakness. Also, I love my therapist Blake, and Rebecca literally saved my life with med management!
As far as group therapy, it gave me a supportive space to connect with people who truly understood what I was going through. It helped me gain new perspectives and feel less alone!
I highly recommend STR for anyone looking for extra support!

Medford, NJ | Located in Medford, New Jersey, Pinelands Recovery Center offers inpatient and outpatient treatment for young adults and adults with alcohol and substance use disorder and co-occurring disorders. They are recognized by the Joint Commission. Pinelands accepts most commercial insurance plans. They do not accept any Medicaid or Medicare plans. Their | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I feel more comfortable staying “anonymous,” but I want to be open and honest about my experience I had.
First, I cannot speak highly enough about my therapist, Steph Kinney. She is genuinely one of the best therapists I’ve ever worked with. 🥹❤️ She advocated for me, supported me, and consistently showed up for me throughout my stay. I truly would not be where I am today without her.
I also feel incredibly grateful for the recovery coaches, Kyle, Mallory, the great alumni coordinator Eric. 🥰 They all brought so much compassion, encouragement, and genuine support to my recovery. Steph, Kyle, Mallory, and Eric are people I will always remember.
Unfortunately, medication management and communication with certain nursing staff seriously need improvement. Withdrawal and tapering should be individualized because every patient responds differently. There’s literally only one nurse that cares and her name is Carol. All the other ones don’t know what they’re doing and also give you attitude and roll their eyes consistently… very welcoming for 28-30 days!!!!
During my stay, I went nearly six to seven days with essentially no sleep while experiencing severe withdrawal symptoms, vomiting throughout the day, and requiring multiple ER visits. Despite this, I was still expected to attend every group and meeting, which I did.
I genuinely question why someone experiencing severe withdrawal, extreme sleep deprivation, constant vomiting, and recent ER treatment would still be expected to attend every single group as if nothing was happening. There is a difference between encouraging accountability and recognizing when someone is medically struggling and needs appropriate care and rest. The nursing stuff also when my mom called completely disregarded her message telling her that I was doing fine without even checking in with me because they saw me leave my room one time, This already gave the suspicion to my mom that this was sketchy… (2nd ER Visit)
Thankfully, after my concerns were escalated to higher management, they were eventually addressed and resolved.
The overnight room checks also desperately need improvement. Extremely bright LED flashlights were frequently shined into the rooms and toward patients’ faces, even when we were clearly asleep and breathing. This continued throughout my full 30-day stay, not just detox. Between that and doors constantly slamming throughout the night, getting even 15-20 mins of sleep was near impossible. 👎
this is kind of sad to say, but if I knew that this was going to be the case, I would’ve had a better opportunity just relapsing at the leave of my own bed without Dookie stains..
Outside of those issues, I truly had a meaningful experience and met people who changed my life.
Steph, Kyle, and Mallory, thank you for helping me find purpose again and reminding me that there was still so much worth moving forward for. ❤️ I will always be grateful for your support.
Overall, I would give my experience 4/5 stars. There are some incredible people working here, but the medical management, communication, and overnight environment need significant improvement. Maybe even a class on manners & respect might be more beneficial for your team at Pinelands, especially the Techs.
Love you all!

Listen, I am a total mess most of the time due to my catastrophizing things. I make everything start at worst case scenario hoping it doesn't stay there but unfortunately it sometimes does. Im not going to give you a play by play or some incredible testimony because my story is still going strong but I've come a very long way and I 💯 give my counselor, Susan, alot of credit for sticking by me even bk in the beginning when I would be nasty and childish towards her and ill never forget when she told me that she was just waiting for me to be ready. * full disclosure im a garbage head and at the time I needed rehab terribly. And she was so patient and calm n it drove me nuts. Until one day, I walked into her office and said im ready. And from that chair in her office I left for rehab right away thanks to a combined effort of the staff, Will a former employee but mainly through her approach over months. I've had several wonderful things happen since then but most importantly I finally won my 3 year battle with CPS and gained joint custody of my son back. Now, don't get it twisted, I am far from a shiney happy person now. I've got major struggles right now but ever since that day she can't get rid of me off her caseload. Mainly because secretly im her favorite.😄 but i won't let them switch me because Susan really does care about her clients and I am sure of it for many reasons. If Susan isn't you're counselor you're missing out. And because of her this center gets a 5 star 🌟 rating from me. Which, btw, NEVER happens.

This is honestly the only place that has ever made me feel safe and secure. Val is the best house manager and i had to move to legacy for 30 days before going back to sobriety solutions and i can’t pray everyday enough for the time to just go by so i can go back to this program and house. I love this place more than anything and i couldn’t imagine being happier at a place, i hate that things worked out the way they did for the time being but im really pushing through the hell of this just to get back there & not let people affect me or make me uncomfortable because that’s nothing compared to Val’s treatment & the way they really support you there. I didn’t even expect to be going to a sober house because you rarely find any that truly care but this one so does. i wouldn’t recommend any other but just stay in your own lane & you can’t really do social media there, that was so i misunderstood & i don’t want anyone else to run into that communication process the way i did. Mike the CEO is also very understanding & he has mercy on the clients there. i can barely wait to get back there🙏🏽life saver place

Awesome place if you want to get sober and are serious about it. Haley who works at the front desk is the most sweetest, helpful, caring staff member I've ever had the pleasure of working with in regards to my sobriety and staff at a facility. She is always open and honest l. She's never guided me in the wrong direction. Honestly she works so hard in taking care of us clients and what we need that sometimes it feels like I'm not doing enough for my own recovery. If you're nervous about taking the next step in your recovery as I was never have been to a PHP before. She makes sure that it's a smooth transition. Honestly the only way you could think Haley or the rest of the staff isn't doing enough for you is if you're so lazy and aren't really serious about your recovery that you just expect everyone to do everything for you. I. That case you may need a higher level of care. Because I've never been so excited and felt like I had the help I need in my recovery as I do in sober solutions and working with Haley. The amount of hard work she puts in for us clients and her job is what I strive for in my recovery.

I would like to say that I have been in a lot of detox facilities and this facility is the best The doctors are compassionate to your situation and take their time the techs are also very competent And make sure you have everything you need. I did a rapid detox because I had to go back to work and they were able to formulate a plan. And it actually worked for me. They did not try to force me to stay like most places would because they want the insurance money. They just wanted to make sure that I was okay. And? The plan actually worked for me Of course, it's a business but they're not just about the money where most places are and they are s***Shows Recovery village is not so I highly recommend this place - John Schwab - This is an update on my review that I posted over a year ago. I spent 14 years working at Kennedy Health System. 10 in the prn pool and 4 full time. This Jeff Health was a different experience. The new buildings are beautiful. I had a single room. From the ER through to the floor, the staff indicated they clearly understood my complaint and tried to mitigate it. It was not an easy fix but they made several attempts in the ER to help me obtain immediate relief. Once on the unit the room was clean. I would have preferred more instructions and explanations but still, the medical staff was competent. Every space was clean. Hospital food is Hospital food. I wasn't there to eat. This problem was new to me so I really didn't understand what was happening. But over all, I believe the staff worked to resolve my presenting issue and prepare me to go home. Amazing staff who make sure you’re are well taken care of and comfortable. The chef made incredible food for every meal and stocked the fridge every day with fresh food that we could eat at anytime as well. They also kept the freezer stocked with ice cream and water ice. The facility is cozy and kept very clean. There is a smart tv in every room as well as in the lounge/common area which is set up like a living room. I found the groups helpful. There are 3 hour long groups you can attend but don’t have to and either an AA or NA speakers that comes every night for an hour long meeting. I liked that Sunrise is a smaller facility, having room for about 20 patients. This made it easier to open up and share. I went to sunrise 6/7 for the first time ever and I don’t regret a single thing about. Never been to detox before but the people who work there actually care about you and want you to get better. It only works if you are ready though. The food was amazing everyday, the counselors are there to help you, and the doctors/nurses want what’s best for you. I will 100% be going back there one day to speak to the patients to show them that recovery is possible. They also help you with finding resources after being discharged. I was recommended tk a doctor for the sublocade shot and had it done within two weeks of leaving sunrise. It’s a smaller operation but I found it to be better.

The staff is attentive, professional, and truly cares about their clients. They offer yoga and special outings that really support overall mental health and recovery.
I especially connected with Dr. Gina, Sharlice, and Veronica — they were compassionate, supportive, and deeply invested in my growth. Harmony played a huge role in helping me get sober and become more independent. They also stayed in communication with my family who lived far away, which meant so much.
I highly recommend this program to anyone seeking support and real change.

This was my first time in treatment, there was alot of miscommunication among staff and clients. I can truly say Harmony Healing Center gave me the tools to start living a clean life. Katie was always available, Bri the case manager was available as well. The techs was welcoming upon arrival. There was some ups and downs. Jasmin made sure i was good every day. This place would be great if it had structure.

I’m very grateful to have had the opportunity to come here. Bri did everything she could to help with FMLA and short term disability. Katie was always available, and made me feel comfortable to share with her the things I need to work on.I was very surprised to receive this amount of individual attention. I was never brushed off or made to feel like anyone was “too busy”. Housing was well maintained and comfortable. Anytime something was needed within the house either a tech, or even Bri and Katie would give us a ride to a nearby store. Highly recommended to anyone seeking a PHP. Thank you Harmony! Keep doing what you’re doing. I’m still sober. 4 months and 2 weeks. But I was amazed how a therapist and case manager took us to get food for housing when needed. I worked in this business. That is not in their job description. Above and beyond.
