Dr.John Carter has been seeing my boys since small children. I love how he includes the parent in last half of sessions, and explains everything as clearly as he can, and stays on top of medication,and side effects.

Today we learned that Dr Carter is retiring at the end of this month....a day I knew would eventually come, but had hoped would be a few more years away.... to see him 20 years +, it was emotional and very sad news😢. We were told a "Dr. Lee who is a good doctor, and younger" wI'll be taking Dr. Carter's position the first of January. My son is not pleased at all, but we will have to wait and see if they "connect" in February.
At any rate, with new management at Family Preservation, and all staff changes, and lack of staff, my "5 star rating" may be much less very soon.

Overall, it was an excellent experience. Probably the best aspect of Silver Ridge was the helpful staff. Everyone to include the therapists, management, group counselors and chefs were outstanding. I started going to PCTC around 12/2020 I believe.. I have found the staff to be very kind , caring , and helpful . I had Jackie as a counselor when I started and she was promoted and went to Anderson location and I ended up with a new counselor Chelsea and have been lucky enough to have her ever since ! They have helped me with transportation when I've had issues getting there as I am disabled and don't drive , I have had some very hard things happen in my life and I grew to trust Chelsea and have been able to talk to her and she has helped me lot just by listening and truly ended up failing a DT and knew I hadn't done anything and have had a flawless record and had just taken an observed 2 days before(clean as can be other than methadone )an being given the DT that I took on my own that came up as failed and I was so shocked and cried because I knew I hadn't done anything and it was just very helpful that she helped me through that and she helped me figure out what happened.. I figured she wouldn't believe me because I am sure so many have said the same , but she didn't and she cared enough to help me figure it out. All of staff there are just such genuine caring people and seem to be doing it because they truly care to help ppl recover and not just doing it for a paycheck . They have connected with so many that I see and the kids that have to come with their parents they connect and get to know the ppl and don't make you feel less than for having to go through the process of recovery. I recommend them to anyone who is serious about bettering and extending their life by leaving addiction behind .

Our 22 year old son was ‘failing to launch’ - gaming, marijuana use and generalized anxiety were issues that prevented him from moving into a healthy and successful adult life. The three months that he spent at Momentum provided just the right mixture of support, insight and challenge to help him channel his energies in a positive direction. His therapist, Joe, was compassionate and effective, and helped motivate our son to reach for more than he thought possible. He left Momentum with a very positive attitude about himself and his possibilities. He has just started a ‘transition’ program where he is utilizing the lessons learned at Momentum to carve out his new life. I was very impressed with the quality of care that my son received at Trails Momentum. He was there from May 2023-September 2023. He arrived in a very sad and lost frame of mind. After reading some of the misguided comments directed at Dr. Boppana, I felt it necessary to add a counterpoint. I’m so glad to have been assigned to this outstanding physician. Although his personal inclination is to not make much eye to eye contact, he is very attentive to what is being said by redirecting his focus away from the speaker. In so far as putting in a Bluetooth device while the patient is still speaking, this is in order to proceed directly into making the necessary consults in order to address the issues being described to him in real time. I was personally helped by his calling of no less than three people in order to accommodate my needs. Thank you Dr. Boppana.

This treatment center has been nothing short of wonderful. I love everyone who works here and you can feel they truly care about their patients. My counselor is Mrs. Ruth and I stg she is an angel on earth!
My intake day, I called because I was going to be about 25 minutes late due to my own poor choices prior that landed me in the slammer in another state ( NC ) so because of that and having to bail out; I was going to be late. When I called I was trying to reschedule and Mrs. Ruth answered the phone. She told me not to worry about it, leave now and she’ll see me when I get there! She was not going to allow me to reschedule lol.
Fast forward to now. She is my counselor and when I asked her why she did that for me she told me “ because I could hear in your voice that if you didn’t come right then, you weren’t going to come at all “ and she was right! She has done so so much for me. The nurses have done so much for me, all of them! Lisa is absolutely amazing and Natasha and Wendy are compassionate and awesome! The doctors? They most definitely care about you and want you to get to a stable place and will work with you as long as needed until you do.
I highly recommend this treatment center. Even the ladies up front treat you great, are friendly and get you through fast! All around a great experience at this clinic and I’ve been to A LOT!! Because of them, I am clean and actually really happy and content in life. My life has improved so much already and I can’t wait to see where I’m at in life this time next year! It’s a journey I am extremely grateful to be on and grateful to have this wonderful staff on it with me and guiding me every step of the way 🫶🏻

I see Dr. Fields and as someone who isn’t looking for prescriptions and actually wants help for a quality life . I just want to praise this Lady . I can tell she’s very busy as it is a “clinic “ atmosphere. But I feel she genuinely cares about these illness’s… and is very educated and equipped with the tools needed to help people like myself .

This place helped me out a lot. I struggle from type 2 bipolar disorder and they really sat down and try to understand what I was going through. My wife has Alzheimer's/FTD/PPA and was moved here from her memory care facility to get a medication adjustment and re-placement into another facility. She was always treated respectfully and was clean and comfortable. The staff always genuinely cared for my wife. She was there 4 weeks and is adjusting well to her new facility.

Next Step Recovery is an amazing program in sober living community. Came to next step for iop/php after my inpatient stint. this was my first time in rehab and i am here as a result of legal issues, meaning i was here less than willingly. That being said I gained so much from this program, not just in sober time but mentally. The staff is amazing and they really care, as a few of them were former patients of next step themselves. There was not a day that i didnt feel as if i wasn’t important or that my needs werent met.The freedom and the trust is another big part, youre allowed to keep your phone and car, work, vape/smoke, and pretty much do as you please within reason. I hated my time where i did inpatient, but i genuinely enjoyed this program and the time i spent here. Im only 22 so i was the youngest person here for a long while, but i never felt out of place or anything of the sort. This would be a place i recommend 100%.
