I've been going to the clinic now for several months and this is my second attempt at sobriety by being in this clinic. The counselors here do really care and try to help the patients succeed in their efforts to stay off opiates.

I was scrolling the web and I always check the reviews of places I have physically been seen at. I'm a single father now and i havent been able to post as much as i'd like. When I saw some of the comments they really well....pissed me off. Dr Craddock is one of the most caring DR/Pshyciatrist i have encountered in my recovery. I started in 2008 in Seneca,SC and quickly moved to Recovery Concepts with Dr Craddock. Just to put it all plainly. There was never a time anything was offered to me that i didnt have to take the assesment for or bring up first. He never said try these THATS BULL. They don't just hand out any medications if they are deemed nessicary and you bring them up the administer an assesment on you and you may or may not have ADHD or anxiety. I in fact do have and will always have SUD, anxiety and adult ADHD. I will say it again for those in the back. He is a great DR/Pshciatrisrt but they dont make you take the medication and they certainlly dont bring it up. Hope this clears the BS away from him.

They are more kind and considerate than you could possibly imagine and I would recommend this facility to anybody wanting to make a change and change directions, in your own crossroad. I could not be more grateful for the care I received here. The staff are amazing and will make sure that you are always comfortable. You will be respected, heard, and treated with dignity. You won't be dismissed, all your questions will be answered. Be completely honest so that you can receive the exact care that you need. You could not ask for better accomodations or understanding. The environment is immediately welcoming. Its quiet, peaceful. They have everything you need, you really just need clothing. (Its a bit chilly, bring hoodies and fuzzy socks) There are even laundry facilities. You will be provided with a vape or nicotine patches if you use nicotine products. You may rest as much as you need, the staff will let you sleep through the night, vitals are during the day. You can call your family, except for during group meetings. No visitors, but the stay is short. The counselors and peer support specialists are very honest, open, and eager to help you with your personal journey, without being pushy or making you feel rushed. Whether faith based or evidence based care is right for you, that is your choice. There are options for both approaches! The idea of group meetings was terrifying for me, an introvert, an addict full of shame and guilt. You are not obligated to contribute, that was reassuring. But I was surprised at myself for wanting to contribute and engage. It was a bit sad leaving. While here, I was not just a junkie, just an alcoholic, a lost cause, all of the negative adjectives I used to describe myself. I wasn't the things my family called me. I wasn't an echo of the childhood I lost. I wasn't an empty, lonely vessel on autopilot. I was a person. A human. Im more than my story, but sharing our perspectives and caring for each other felt like being part of a family. A family where you aren't the black sheep. It was almost overwhelming to feel that kind of support and HOPE. Ill be honest; When I came in, i wasn't ready to get help. The timing was just right. But very quickly that changed. They made me want to be better. Not for recognition or pats on the back. Not for attention or brownie points. They made me want it because they made me see I deserve it, I deserve to live a good life and be happy. If you are thinking about making some changes, please come here. What do you have to lose?

I am so very thankful for everything you do in your program from start to end. It has been a game changer for my son who has battled addiction for a few years. I see the spark back in his eyes and a joy and excitement towards his future you’ve given him the tools to be successful. You’ve given him the tools to cope, but most of all you’ve given him hope towards his future. He’s halfway through the program and has nothing but great things to say thank you so very much. I wish you were in many more locations to assist other people that need help and think there’s no hope in sight not just for the addict but for the families as well God bless you much love, and appreciation.!

I honestly would of gave it a 5 star. But a couple of staff were not nice to me. It was mostly night shift. One made fun of me Stimming and i have Autism. She laughed at me stimming on my tippy toes. Jenesia a tech is very rude. Told me i couldn’t go on my tippy toes. That its not allowed, but thats my way of coping/stimming. That i needed a doctor’s order. Which i didn’t i talked to the doctor. I understand the reason why they have to keep the doors open all night. But they could of at least dimmed the lights. It kept going in my eyes and waking me up. I didnt get much sleep being there. That doesn’t help me with my physical conditions. Now for the compliments. Unit 2 overall is such a good unit. I did get treated like a human being I felt safe, and supported. Not like the other ones i have been to that made me feel horrible like we weren’t human beings. Dr.Feldman Lance, now hes the best doctor I have had in any mental health facility. He actually listens to u(if ur not mean or give attitude) and he gets things done. He is also so sweet and very nice, and understanding. I don’t like talking alone to males but with him I was ok. He is nice and gave a nice vibe! Megan the tech is another great staff member! She made me feel safe while I was there. I could talk to her about anything! She was just there! Shes so nice too. Then there is Abby another tech. Shes super nice as well! She helped me calm down . She let me keep stimming on my tippy toes even when other staff said i couldn’t. That made me cry and get upset because they said I couldn’t. But she calmed me down! She is a really good one. And then there is Kenzie the therapist. She was very nice! She cared alot! She listened and helped me understand what I was confused about. She was so sweet! Then there was a group therapist named Kathleen. Oh boy she helped so much! I loved attending her groups when i could of. I am actually going to take what she told us and work on it in my therapy sessions! She made sure everyone got there questions asked. She was really nice because the group room door slams, and I get overwhelmed with that. She made sure it didn’t slam. But overall I would definitely recommend this facility! Now it is different experiences for everyone!

I struggled with addiction for 20+ years. Thanks to southwest Carolina treatment center I’ve been clean for 4 years. Everyone at the clinic is nice. Sterling is down to earth and easy to talk to. He cares about the people he works with. He genuinely wants to know how you are doing. Everyone at the clinic is very helpful ,hopeful, and I get to feeling that they genuinely care about helping curve addiction in our community. 10/26/25 still using this same clinic, sterling is no longer there . Home with a Heart is a men’s only, Christian facility in Liberty, South Carolina. They help with alcoholism and drug abuse at no charge, while centering around their faith in Jesus Christ. They are a non medical sober living home. You must be fully detoxed before being admitted. Home with a Heart is an eight-week Christian rehab program for me
The home has changed my life! 30 acres of holy ground where miracles happen daily. Truly a life saver for myself and hundreds of other men who truly want to recover from drug and alcohol abuse. Being willing and open is the key to this though. If you see negative reviews it's truly because the individual wasn't open to change and a renewal of heart and mind. Alex is like a father figure to me and I've made several brothers in Christ and recovery from the home. God is truly good all the time. It's up to US to be open to change and then walk into Gods will for our lives.

WOW!!! What a wonderfully blessed place.. a special place; that as soon as u pull into the driveway , the Presence Of God just envelopes U!! This place & This woman: Stacey Carroll, are both miracles. The much needed structure is within their daily schedule, the term "downtime" isn't an option. The program is packed with classes equivalent to course studies, the Biblical Teachers are knowledgeable with an understanding if the Bible, the atmosphere is one of "kindred spirits".. like that of king David & Jonathon.. or Ruth & Naomi. What is said here, stays here. Stacey Carroll is one the most pure hearted women of God I have ever had the honor to be around. She walks it.. like she talks it!! Backs it up daily, she was more than a role model or an example to me.. she has & is a "big sister" to me. I am an Alumni of Shalom. I stayed at the " farm:" for 9 months, then to the Shalom halfway house until my Motherb had a 2nd massive stroke that killed her swallowing reflexes.. Jesus took her home 1 week to the date of the 2nd stroke... Had I been out there using atthe time of hrb stroke & passing..I know I would inintenionally overedosed. Stacey took me under her wing & I almost bought a house in Belton.. It is 59 minutes Stacey from my place to u!! I will be texting you I a few.. I made you a Peach, with Graham Crustm mixed berries, almonds, chocolate & strawberry syrup with Cool Whip for the top.. I have ftozen this pie.. God willing you will have time for me to bring that pie over today and I will get us some pizza but I have a 10 minute that's running behind and he's got some small children so I got the pie down though do text me back you will have my number or you should and I'll holler at you this morning I've been working a lot at night I'm a certified caregiver and I can do sign language, also. But I have been so crazy busy in this business because there have been three different Court battles headed my way I will be able to retainthat piece of property.. we will talk soon.. love you.. praying for all of you please keep me in your prayers also.. Dr. Turner is awesome. All of the staff was very helpful, but Dr. Turner really helped my family member. She was off for a few days while my family was there, and it wasn't until she returned and dug into my family members' care that I saw an improvement. Two to three days after she took over, my family member was home and continues to improve. Ikia was also very helpful. She answered all of my questions and returned emails and phone calls. The facility could use upgrades and create an environment less like a prison. Try to make it more warm and welcoming. People are already going through tough times, and the environment and food are worse.

Molly is hands down the best counselor anyone could ever ask for. You can tell she loves her job and unlike most, she listens to you.. If you're looking for someone who cares, listens and makes you feel heard Molly is your counselor! I would give more than 5 stars if I could.

I see Dr. Fields and as someone who isn’t looking for prescriptions and actually wants help for a quality life . I just want to praise this Lady . I can tell she’s very busy as it is a “clinic “ atmosphere. But I feel she genuinely cares about these illness’s… and is very educated and equipped with the tools needed to help people like myself . For once in my 32 years of life I feel optimistic. I just thought that was worth leaving a review in case it matters to any of you . So , Thank you Eve Fields !

I'm very happy with Foster Law Firm. Mr. Bax, Ms. Friddle, Ms. Cupertino, and the rest of the staff were very helpful, responsive and they were able to resolve my situation to my satisfaction. I highly recommend them for your disability case.

Leila was such a God send for my STD case. After dozens of calls to other attorney offices, I decided to give this firm a try. Upon arrival, I was pretty discouraged and the entire process was an emotional rollercoaster dealing with the STD company’s shenanigans however, Leila successfully got my claim approved and she answered all of my questions through it all. Give this firm a try, no one’s perfect but if you have faith and patience (the entire process will require it), I’m sure this firm will help you get what you are deserved. They really are trying their best to help you. Thank you Leila! ❤️

From my experience over months of working intensively to survive traumatic and complicated grief, everyone with whom I interact with at OMHC has been and continues to be compassionate, patient, and expert professionals. From the first day when I arrived and collapsed into a lobby chair with tears streaming and reality shifted from normal, I was rescued and cared for by these remarkable people. Working weekly with both a grief counselor and a physician, I discovered that the interplay between my underlying medical conditions and high functioning autism were being dramatically affected by the traumatic grief. This caused a period of reactive psychosis or shift from reality where nothing seemed real and I could once again see and speak with my recently departed mother. Without help, people with autism do not process grief like a neuro-normal and as such are more profoundly affected and can become very ill, like I had. The underlying adrenal insufficiency and narcolepsy, which were caused by prior damage to the pituitary and hypothalamus organs of the brain, are potentially life-threatening if not treated appropriately. Due to the autism and subsequent inability to process traumatic grief, my neurological medical conditions were thrown into disequilibrium. The result was daily adrenal crises and significant reduction in neurotransmitters of the brain. Some of these are responsible for higher brain function, such as the executive functions, namely decision making, reasoning abilities, cognitive processing of information (difficulty taking in and understanding information), and even impulse control. Insomnia. Inability to eat mainly because food didn't just taste a little off but rather it tasted rotten. The world seemed to be very far away and foggy. My head felt like a huge rock on my shoulders instead of my own head. My body felt weighed down and slow as if I were trying to slog my way through tar. But nothing mattered because of the deep depression that had settled in to stay for a long visit. This is when the world became dream-like and I could see momma again. I had been unable to locate grief counseling for many weeks since momma passed regardless of how hard I tried to find it and begged for help. There was nothing. But now, that no longer mattered because momma was back. For a very brief time, returning to the work that I loved and had worked nearly half my life to be able to do, now seemed like someone else's life. My medical leave was ending soon and I should be concerned about it. However, I was so satisfied and relieved to have mommy back home that I was unconcerned that the world had disappeared. We talked for hours everyday. When I went to the pharmacy for refills, as mommy was always reminding me when it was time to take my medicine, the pharmacist had heard I was looking for grief counseling and mentioned this place in a big building over there down that little road at the very end. I put the bag of medicine into my purse and seemed to float to the car and over to that place. I don't recall seeing any name on the building or a sign out front and wasn't sure I was where I was supposed to be. I was just so very tired and weak. I entered and saw comfortable chairs and collapsed into one. My memory is very hazy around some of these weeks but there are important aspects that rise above all of the heavy fog. These are very kind, genuinely kind people, I recall thinking. I'm being given some instructions and because they're obviously trying to help me, I will do as they ask. They're very kind, gentle, and warm people. During these days that stretched into weeks, life was a blur of ongoing crying jags that filled my head with such pain that it felt like it might crack open, conversely, I enjoyed many soothing talks with mommy. She was always waiting for me when I returned home. Gratitude and happiness filled me each time I saw her. Sadly, as I was improving, mommy was disappearing. I grieved again. I am here because I was first carried by and then allowed to lean on the remarkable and compassionate people at OMHC.
