The three months that he spent at Momentum provided just the right mixture of support, insight and challenge to help him channel his energies in a positive direction. His therapist, Joe, was compassionate and effective, and helped motivate our son to reach for more than he thought possible. He left Momentum with a very positive attitude about himself and his possibilities. He has just started a ‘transition’ program where he is utilizing the lessons learned at Momentum to carve out his new life. Momentum is a very fine program with a dedicated, caring and skilled staff - we can highly recommend it! She was always treated respectfully and was clean and comfortable. The staff always genuinely cared for my wife. She was there 4 weeks and is adjusting well to her new facility. Tiffany Mullis 5 days ago I dropped my son off nine months ago at NSR. At that time, I didn’t realize how much of a codependency I had with my son. Even after dropping him off, I tried to stay involved in the day-to-day details which was the very reason I dropped him off in the first place. So i wouldn’t have to stay in the details and could focus on me. My advice is to let the process work. My son is now in a much better place and said this was the best decision he had ever made. I am also in a much better place and the Tuesday night parent calls are a must do for any one that has family in the program. NSR provides more freedom and flexibility in their program that a lot of other places did not. That was a deciding factor when I was initially looking for a place for my son to go. Then I found next step, and my second chance at a better, clean and sober life. I've been in and out of rehabs and detoxes my whole life. But this facility was different. I was welcomed like I was family and I had come home. With the love and compassion, not judged, but given a real chance at a better life. I'm currently living in the sober living house, and unlike a lot of places. The houses are very nice, clean, and up to date homes fully furnished. The staff is excellent, and always available to help with anything I need. Today I feel like a better man, a better husband, a better father, and I owe it all to next step recovery. We have all had exceptional service from all of the care providers. In an atmosphere that can be pretty thankless at times due to each patients needs, wants and desires the staff handles it with professional skills. Cannot say enough about the ER. They are helpful and caring from the moment you walk through the doors until the moment you leave. Our primary care doctors are fantastic given the workload they carry. Even if you have not seen the care provider in a year when you walk in it is just like yesterday you spoke with them. Every place will have it's ups and downs. Good and bad experiences based on the individual needs of others. But, the amount of patients seen here it is amazing how smooth this place operates. For a Veteran it is like going home in a familiar comrade way! Thank you from the heart to each and every caregiver. Always remember if you feel you need just a little more attention contact patient advocacy and watch the wheel start spinning in the right direction. I made a choice to go there one year ago and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. Today, I'm clean and sober after more than a decade of not being able to break that cycle. It gave me time and a supportive environment for me to try to work on my internal issues and understand the root of my addiction more clearly so that I can address it and overcome it. The incredible staff was absolutely an integral part of that process for me. Their understanding, insight, and incredible compassion gave me the strength and will to take back control of my life. For those who leave negative reviews making complaints and venting their frustrations, I understand you. I agree the program is not perfect and some aspects may not meet our expectation. But to that exact point, life is not perfect and it rarely meets our expectations either. Those are exactly the challenges in the real world that we must overcome and they are precisely the lessons we need to learn to break free from addiction. For those willing and open-minded enough to make real changes in their life, recovery is possible and Crest View is a place that can help you get there. The key is you have to want it. Treatment is not a luxury resort, a place to be pampered and catered to...it's not a vacation... it's a time to reflect, a chance to remove distractions and work on overcoming your addiction. If you think that recovery is a plush luxurious experience with every amenity you desire, then book a long stay at the Ritz-Carlton Resort and have the front desk remind you not to use substances while there, but only if it suits your mood that day... At Crest View, the majority of the staff are recovering addicts as well. That means no matter how bad my day might have been, how much I was struggling, or how terrible I felt, there was never a single moment I could look a staff member in the eyes and say that they don't understand... because they absolutely do. I am so grateful that I made the decision to go to Crest View out of any other facilities I could have chosen. If you come here and do exactly what you’re supposed to do then the stay will be amazing. By doing what you’re supposed to do I mean going to group on time, taking your meds on time, be friendly to clients and staff, have patience with staff when you’re not getting something as soon as you want it. There’s always more clients than staff so patience is key. Rehab is not a vacation. Rehab is meant to be hard and test you just like real life would. Accept responsibility where you are wrong and take accountability for your actions. We put ourselves in rehab, rehab did not call us. I see these bad reviews on here and it seems like it’s just clients who didn’t get there way and decided to complain on here about it. The staff at Crestview works hard to make sure all clients needs are taken care of but there are a lot of clients who just can’t seemed to be pleased. Don’t lie to staff or they will catch you. My recovery journey started with October Road when I entered their PHP program, which at the time was called the River House. One thing I’ve learned in recovery is that many treatment programs struggle with staffing, and people in early recovery often don’t have positive examples to look up to. That was not my experience here—far from it. I was surrounded by staff who genuinely cared and demonstrated what recovery, professionalism, and service look like every day. The BHTs, clinicians, counselors, and support staff created an environment that was both structured and supportive. Justin, Alex, Chuck, and Gray made a lasting impact on me. They treated us with dignity, held us accountable, and encouraged us to believe that a better life was possible. The community was just as important. The groups were meaningful, the other clients became a source of support, and the overall culture helped me build a strong foundation for recovery. During my time there, I served as the cook for my house and even became the barber for many of the clients. We built healthy relationships, supported one another, and enjoyed simple things like going to the river after clinical days. I continued my journey with October Road through IOP and early recovery services. Even today, I still use October Road for my medical needs. I also return from time to time to speak with clients and share my experience, strength, and hope. Today, I serve in a leadership role in recovery and reentry services with a community-based organization called Operation Gateway. The foundation for the work I do today was built at October Road. We have all had exceptional service from all of the care providers. In an atmosphere that can be pretty thankless at times due to each patients needs, wants and desires the staff handles it with professional skills. Cannot say enough about the ER. They are helpful and caring from the moment you walk through the doors until the moment you leave. Our primary care doctors are fantastic given the workload they carry. Even if you have not seen the care provider in a year when you walk in it is just like yesterday you spoke with them. Every place will have it's ups and downs. Good and bad experiences based on the individual needs of others. But, the amount of patients seen here it is amazing how smooth this place operates. For a Veteran it is like going home in a familiar comrade way! Thank you from the heart to each and every caregiver. Always remember if you feel you need just a little more attention contact patient advocacy and watch the wheel start spinning in the right direction. With that being said it’s a structured environment that does provide good therapy. There can be some toxicity amongst other patients so it’s best to not let that get to you and your recovery. I had a necklace that I left there for over a year that was for my great grandfather who fought in World war 2. Somehow someway I called them on a whim and they had the necklace and they sent it to me!! This was such a big deal to me and they took such care and making sure they didn’t lose the item. Of course if it was a two toothpaste it would’ve been gone. Now I’m in college and I’m two weeks away from my first study abroad trip to Argentina to study Spanish in my life makes sense. Unfortunately, my English family is not able to support my health education. This information is part of my self care. I am glad I have the educational steps so I do not need to visit again. My family chooses not to support my betterment. My English aristocracy family chooses not to listen, they care about their wealth, and like to move me. They help professional identify and educate me on my divergent thinking which is caused by both my English and Irish ancestries. To address divergent thinking, they provide hard suggestions to continually study, work through, practice, and reflect on regarding more consideration of how to relate and figuring out what strategies are effective in building healthy relationship. I am good at working through a professional organization chart to help identify and assess past healthy social interaction. At the end, I am able to assess my slight adjustments to make the good situations more safe and healthy. After a doctor visit in high school, I am scarily concerned I have a related cancer. They thankfully and very smartly professionally address in my late 20s I personally progress to dealing with slight skitzophenia and provide education steps to move forward focusing on really strict healthy eating. They thankfully address my eating issue after I temporarily have not been able to eat what I need to. I love their food medicine. Unfortunately, my home community still chooses to be reluctant in providing my prescribed medicine. My community does not support my personal recommendation from Dr. Josh Axe. I am thankful this extra knowledge shares with my community underlying issue I address. I wish everyone visited the psychiatrist.
