My personal experience with this facility is above and beyond. Between 2013 and 2017 I attended Synergy Recovery 9 times attempting to overcome my issue of opiates. As of 8-20-2017 I have been clean. In loosing my mother to cancer just 8 months after coming home from 40 months in prison, I found myself engulfed in an addiction and had no idea what to do. Was homeless and already "re-burnt" all my bridges. After making contact with them, they even bought me a cab to take me from my grand parents in Lenoir to North Wilkesboro for treatment. Once my treatment was over, they helped me stay outta Caldwell County and helped me get into a halfway house up in Elkin. Love this place, staff, and what theyre about. I would definitely recommend it to any and everybody!!!!

Please read the whole review, I know it’s long, but there’s important stuff that really might help you out if you’re thinking about becoming a patient. Always keep in mind however, that you get out of it what you put into it. The counselors there are wonderful, especially Amber. She has advocated for me, she helped me get Medicaid so my medicine is free now which is amazing. She always tells me how proud she is of me and reminds me how much progress I’ve made when I’m starting to feel like I’m screwing up, sometimes you just need to hear that. I know that I can always depend on her. My first counselor was Dan he was wonderful, but I just thought that I would benefit more from having a female counselor. I also know that Ray is wonderful, but any of the counselors would be more than happy to help you if you can’t find yours. The only problems I have with this place are how difficult it is to get them on the phone sometimes, also one of the nurses is kind of rude, I understand that it is a difficult job however. The rest of the nurses are very kind especially April! Also Treva The nursing coordinator is an absolute nightmare. She was rude to me from the second I walked into that building. She for some reason has a personal issue with me and makes it known. That is so unprofessional you’re supposed to keep your opinions outside the door. That kind of stuff will send people back out and then they die. Other than that it’s great! The front desk lady is wonderful, the Director is absolutely wonderful, I enjoy the group Therapy, and if you’re doing the right thing and passing your drug test, you will phase up very quickly there. I’m already to two weeks, whereas at another clinic it probably would’ve taken me A year or even longer to get to that point. There was a time that I never thought I would even get a single take home and I’m already to two weeks! So thank you new river comprehensive treatment center. If it weren’t for you I would probably be dead, not only that but my mental health has improved drastically since I started there. One more person I would like to mention is Diana who does the Medicaid and financial stuff (I think)she is also extremely helpful and kind if you ever need help with anything.

I can’t say enough good things about my experience with DayMark Recovery Services. From the moment I reached out I was treated with genuine respect compassion and understanding. It’s not easy to ask for help, but the staff made the entire process feel safe and judgment-free. They truly care about the people they serve, and it shows in everything they do.The counselors and providers go above and beyond to listen not just hear you. They take the time to understand your situation and work with you to create a plan that actually fits your life. I never felt like just another number I felt supported, valued, and encouraged every step of the way. What really stood out to me was how consistent and reliable the care is. Whether it’s therapy, medication management, or just having someone to talk to they follow through and make sure you’re not left figuring things out alone. The environment is welcoming and the people there genuinely want to see you succeed and grow. It you’re going through a tough time or just need someone in your corner, I would absolutely recommend DayMark Recovery Services. They provide real help, real support and real people who care. Ya know, I was really upset and cynical about my initial dose, and was really questioning if I made the correct choice. With the weather, that just made titration that much harder. Upon reflection, getting second and 3rd opinions, and doing research, I now understand, which I already did, it just wasn’t clicking in my sick body/brain, they were simply looking out for me. I can appreciate that; knowing anything worth having doesn’t come easy, and admittedly I have some comorbidities, particularly some sedatives I’m/was prescribed. I could tell the Doctor really cared from day one, and she genuinely wanted to help, and nothing has changed. We met with the Medical Director, who is a great addiction MD with great “bedside manner” and understanding, and my regular MD at the clinic, really had my back and we all came up with a great course of treatment I feel really comfortable about, *update* and they have followed through on their promises, and are safely getting me on my way to making some really important and much needed changes to health and old habits, as well as given me autonomy and some normality, faster than I initially thought possible. Also, I’ve been able to reduce/stop some medications that weren’t really needed, and that helped move the process on too. And by the way, the medical Director was great; She really listened to the doctor and me, she was involved, as well as she explained things in a way that made me feel a lot better about the choice that I made to initiate treatment here. And I’m still glad, even more so now, that I chose here for me; they have gave me a life back! I would highly recommend this practice; As I said from day one, the staff are awesome and they’re the reason I kept coming back. I really appreciate them, and the compassion and empathy, and care, from the providers in your most vulnerable time is just a perfect recipe for helping one have a better and safer way of life, and for me sticking it out and retaining treatment, and I hope they know that!!!
