Been going for a few months now, LOVE my therapist, felt a bond right off. Psychiatrist, Angel, I was iffy with but I felt in our 1 visit, I could bond with her. Next she’s gone and in comes Mercedes. Right off the bat, I felt judged, unhinged and just overall bad mojo in general. I gave her one more try, it didn’t change.. I then just cancelled all appointments and told my therapist. I’ve learned last week she is no longer there, others are filling in. May give it another try as I just don’t have 100% faith in my PCP with mental health medications.

When I started treatment here I wasnt sure if I was valid in being depressed which honestly sounds crazy saying it now. I love my therapist Dana and my in school one Janae becasue they listen to me and also help me fix things when I mess up lol. Scheduling could be better though because at the moment Im barely having 1 session a month.

I absolutely love the staff here! They are an amazing group of people who don't make you feel judged or less than because of an addiction. I actually look forward to seeing them . They are encouraging, caring, and make you feel like they actually care about what they do, its not just a paycheck. So glad I made the decision to come here ♥️ I was there for the snow storm. The doctors were extremely slow. I waited 3 hours, but I am grateful they opened up. I in how it made everyone appreciate the nurses a little more. They hold that ship down! Compdrug saved my life.... I was deep into my addiction to fentanyl when I started coming here and a few months before I had overdosed twice having to be dozed with narcan both times. I truly believe that if it wasn't for a compdrug I wouldn't be here today. Yes at first I did struggle to get clean because the methadone just wasn't enough. But I didn't give up and I kept coming every single day and within a few months the methadone started being enough and I didn't need fentanyl anymore. Throughout the years I have experienced nothing but kind, caring, compassionate service from the staff here. I truly do feel like the staff here cares about my sobriety. I have never regretted the decision to walk through those front doors at compdrug and today my life is absolutely amazing. I still feel like every single day continues to get better and better. Good luck to everyone who wants to get clean. We do recover!

I had such a great experience at FRC. Shout outs to therapist Brittany and group facilitators Doug and Kellie! I felt safe and at home here. I could tell everyone working here actually cared and invested in my recovery from mental illness. I am grateful for the conversations and support I received at FRC. The meals and snacks were amazing as well. When, after 2 days of being at FRC, I had to go to the ER, they sent a tech to accompany me so I wasn’t alone. That meant a lot. I appreciate everyone here so much and I highly recommend coming here to work on your recovery.

Very good place to get your life back on track.... My mother is doing much better after 25 years!! She gave this place a shot and they have been excellent. They will always be some people who don't have respect or manners acting crazy but that doesn't mean everyone is like this. I just completed 30 day here's for for SUD. The facility was wondering. They helped me every step of the way while I was recovering. The staff,therapists,nurses and Doctors were all nice,helpful and respectful. I had ups and downs in the process but was guided through it. I've received wonderful treatment and information I will take with me as well as coping skills. I really can't say enough about this Recovery Center except I was glad to have come here.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND I cannot say enough wonderful things about Skylight Recovery in Dayton, Ohio. From intake to departure, they exceeded every expectation I had as a mother navigating one of the most difficult times in our lives. From the very beginning, the staff kept me informed every step of the way with my son’s approval, which gave me tremendous peace of mind. They guided both of us through the process with compassion, professionalism, and genuine care. They even arranged an Uber pickup for my son, which was extremely convenient and helped make the transition into treatment much less stressful. They handled the FMLA and short-term disability paperwork professionally and efficiently, and even worked directly with his HR department to ensure everything was communicated properly. That level of support removed so much stress during an already emotional time. Christiana, the case manager, was absolutely amazing. She guided my son through the process, kept him informed, and reassured both of us that everything would be managed so we did not have to carry the burden alone. Her kindness, organization, and communication meant more than words can express. Mike was also incredibly supportive. He worked directly with my son in a way that was compassionate, open-minded, and understanding. It was clear he truly listened and cared about his recovery journey. And Kyle, I truly cannot say enough about this man. His support, compassion, and willingness to take the time to talk through concerns at any hour made such a difference for our family. He always made my son’s needs and best interests the priority, while also helping me feel supported and informed as a parent. The personal care and dedication he showed will never be forgotten. My son also shared how comfortable and safe he felt throughout his stay. The staff made him feel welcomed and supported from day one. He enjoyed the walks, the variety of group sessions, and even commented that the food was very good. Knowing he felt secure, cared for, and genuinely comfortable meant everything to me as a parent. I also want to specifically recognize Lorin, who was exceptional when working with insurance and managing the financial side of everything. She was incredibly helpful, patient, and knowledgeable, making a complicated process feel much more manageable for our family. Kelsey also deserves special recognition for the weekly virtual family and friends sessions that are available both during treatment and aftercare. These sessions were incredibly valuable and supportive for families navigating recovery alongside their loved ones. She even took the time to meet with me directly, welcomed recommendations and feedback, and thoughtfully sent presentations whenever someone was unable to attend. Her dedication to supporting not just the individual in recovery, but also the family, truly stands out. I highly encourage families not to miss out on these sessions. I would highly recommend Skylight Recovery to anyone struggling with addiction, or to any family member or friend trying to help someone they love. This facility treats people with dignity, compassion, and genuine care while providing the guidance and support needed for recovery. I think this is my kids account but oh well. this is the best place for recovery. The front staff are so nice and they don't judge. They watch my son if he comes with me while I see the doc. but oh MAN Dr B is amazing. She has this office that is relaxing and cool, and she sees me. She really understands what my life has been like. I never had adoctor like her before. I wish she was my family doctor. She just makes it seem better when I tell her what is going on and how stressed out I am. Go to Clean Slate!
