AppleGate is a safe friendly environment to begin your treatment process. Some recovery center her in Dayton do not have your best interest in mind, just in the recovery business for the money, but here at AppleGate it s a small family oriented staff who are in the recovery business for the right reasons. Some of the staff have been through recovery themselves and can relate to your situation without prejudice or a feeling of being judged. They are here willing to help you pull through this storm and take back you life that you deserve. Love yourself enough to get help, even if you feel no one else dose. You are worth the time and effort, learn to love yourself again because they will hold your hands till the storm subsides and the sun shines again.

Fortunately my family found this facility for me, and with a loving nudge, I reluctantly checked myself into detox. It was the best decision I've ever made in my life! I was in detox for 10 days followed by a 30 day residential program. From the nursing staff, to the counselors and case managers, I couldn't have been treated with more grace. The food was absolutely phenomenal, and I'm not kidding, I would have paid good money for some of the dinners I enjoyed at Lumiere. The rooms are kept clean, there's a TV and private bath in each of them, and the entire property overlooks one of the most beautiful golf courses in southern Ohio. Without Lumiere I don't know if I'd still be here today, but with them, I'm sober, working my steps, and living a happy wonderful life for the first time in decades. Thank you Lumiere from the bottom of my heart. If you or any of your friends or family members need help with drugs or alcohol, please check this place out. You won't be disappointed.

One of the better rehabs I have ever been do. Chef Lora deserves all the praise, a legitimate CHEF. Tvs in the rooms, it can get quite boring but you're able to go outside whenever you want, basketball was a great way to kill time. The food is absolutely terrific I can't say that enough. Nursing staff and doctors do try and meet your needs. They offer snacks like PB&J fruit, cereal whenever you want it. Juice dispenser. I've been to some places where you can't even get suitable drinking water. Just be sure to not bring any meds with you they will throw them away, also if you drive yourself, they will tow your car. I had to have someone drive two hours just to park it in a neighborhood near by.

Hotel California by The Sea is the foundation in which my life of addiction stopped. I am extremely grateful for the staff and lifelong friends that I made during my stay there. Medmark is a great option for outpatient treatment in Dayton. There is often little to no wait time to dose, which compared to other clinics in the area, is a superior benefit. The majority of counselors and other staff are a step above. They tend to be more understanding, compassionate, down to earth and helpful than their peers in the field who are employed elsewhere. They go above and beyond for clients, making time for emergencies, questions, and requests. The program overall doesn't require an exceptional amount of the client's life, with just one group or one on one required per month. The location is convenient to get to, but the area tends to be pretty ghetto with a lot of "riff raff" in the parking lot.

I've been with them for 15 years. But their housing program is okay. I also like the fact that there's a pharmacy right there inside. I've been using Eastway's Pharmacy since they opened up. I definitely like that your meds can be delivered to your front door IF you have No Way of getting to the Eastway building. IF you have (a) prescription(s) that needs to be filled the same day you go in for an appointment with a Doctor they will have it filled by the time you're done with your appointment. I will Always recommend Eastway to someone that needs mental health and proper medications. I like the staff that works there. Everyone is very nice to you and they usually have a smile on their face. I try to get a laugh out of one of them and it usually works. As long as Eastway has their doors open I will continue to go there. The staff is wonderful. I'm glad that I have a case manager for longer than two years. My case manager now (and has been for 4 solid years.) She goes above and beyond the call of duty. (She's been there for about 20 years). She helps me go grocery shopping and soon to do laundry up the road. I Pray everyday that I don't lose the case manager I have now. I have pleasant feelings for Eastway. IF you get the chance to be a client at Eastway, remember that getting the right medication can take some time. It took them close to 13 years of trying different medications to get the right regimen that works for ME. I also like the fact that there's a Bus Stop right out front of the building. . I hope you can enjoy the care and staff there. Everyone there is a happy, pleasant person. I LOVE EASTWAY!!! The ONLY way I'll go somewhere else is IF they close their doors. My mother told me about Eastway and when I started the "Journey" there I had a sense of good things to come my way. The rollercoaster of emotions that I was going through finally ended when I became a client at Eastway. At first I didn't like it there because of TWO case managers they Always had a funky attitude towards me and dismissed the fact that I'm there for Mental Health. I'm getting treatment for my Bipolar Disorder. Looking back I'm Glad that I got help from them. IF I didn't make the first appointment to go there, I HIGHLY DOUBT I would be alive right now making this post. Eastway is the one facility that I recommend EVERYONE to go to for Mental Health. In my opinion and experience, Eastway is the place to go get help. Thank you Eastway for your help and this "journey" I'm on with y'all.

It is with profound gratitude and deep appreciation that I write this review of the Mindful Healing Center and its exceptional director, Erica Norton. Reflecting on my journey, it is evident that without the unwavering support and compassionate guidance of Mrs. Norton and her dedicated staff, I would not be the person I am today. Two years ago, I was trapped in the throes of active addiction and plagued by severe mental health issues. My life was a harrowing cycle of homelessness, scavenging for meals from discarded food, and living in constant fear of legal repercussions. Today, I am proud to say that I am over two years clean, free from the shackles of addiction, and thriving both mentally and physically. My transformation is nothing short of miraculous, and it is all due to the comprehensive care I received at the Mindful Healing Center.Mrs. Norton and her team possess a rare ability to see the intrinsic worth in individuals, even when they themselves cannot. The level of care and compassion I experienced at the center was unparalleled. Unlike other facilities I had encountered, where I often felt reduced to a mere billable entity, the Mindful Healing Center treated me with dignity and humanity. They recognized the profound trauma that underpinned my addiction and worked diligently to address the root causes of my struggles, guiding me towards genuine healing and a new way of living.Under Mrs. Norton s mentorship, I embarked on a journey of self-discovery and rehabilitation. Her belief in my potential empowered me to overcome formidable obstacles, including resolving my legal issues and successfully completing probation. For the first time in over 15 years, I hold a valid Ohio driver s license and insurance an achievement that, while seemingly small, signifies a monumental step in reclaiming my life.Furthermore, I am now in a position to give back to the community that once supported me. I have obtained credentials from the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professional Board, as well as Peer Support Certification through Ohio Addiction and Mental Health Services. I am also a qualified Mental Health Specialist and Case Management Specialist. In my role as a Chemical Dependency Counselor, I manage a caseload of individuals struggling with addiction and mental health challenges. Drawing from my own experiences, I strive to illuminate their paths, just as the Mindful Healing Center illuminated mine. The lessons I learned at the Mindful Healing Center have profoundly shaped my approach to counseling. The empathy, respect, and personalized care I received have become the cornerstone of my practice. I am deeply committed to helping others find hope and healing, inspired by the remarkable example set by Mrs. Norton and her staff. In conclusion, the impact of the Mindful Healing Center on my life is immeasurable. Through the steadfast support and expert care provided by Erica Norton and her team, I have been able to restore numerous facets of my life that addiction had stolen. ASAP is an amazing facility. The staff is outstanding and communicate with the families often. They treat the teen in need as a whole instead of focusing on only one issue. I love the support given to the families because it helps to know you re not alone in the battle to help your child. Speaking with the other parents during group helps with learning different ways to support your child. Tools are taught to teach coping skills that will last a lifetime. I highly recommend ASAP to anyone with a teen struggling with addiction and mental illness!
