They have been amazing after I moved in they helped me find a new job, when I found out that it would be remote they set me up for success in the house. Their structure has help keep me sober.

Best MH hospital in columbus. Staff treat you like a human being and the doctors will work with you to help you get through literal hell (shoutout Dr. Cairns! she saved my life!) The other programs are good, but can be a bit weird with those with complex trauma conditions. I was told that I couldn’t have anything more than depression because I wasn’t 22, even though my symptoms were consistent with DID/PTSD. Did wish the food was better, but compared to other facilities this is the best in central Ohio

I was here for 6 days and thought staff treated me wonderfully. I am grateful to Mama G and Ms. Laura for giving me advice I will keep for life, as well as other staff I have forgotten the names of. They are very generous with food here and I ate full meals as well as snacks. My only complaint is that communication is tight to make the patient focus on their treatment, but it made it hard to relax at first.

Where are my shoelaces? Just kidding. My experience at Ohio Hospital for Psychiatry was pleasant. As a person who has suffered from trauma related schizophrenia, I am grateful for my short term stay. Arriving there at roughly 11:00pm on a Friday night, I was greeted and treated with respect and that is how I felt the entire stay there. These people tried to get to the root of my illness and again, I am grateful for that. Thank you to the social workers for being patient with my unique living situation. Thank you to the community support staff for simply being there. Thank you for to the activities staff for getting me out of my room as often as you could and thank you to housekeeping for keeping the place as clean as can be. Take care. -E.

I wish i would have gotten the ladies name who was working the front desk tonight(3.6.26)around 5/5:30(was from South Carolina). She is such a welcoming and understanding person. I was there to drop some personal items off to a loved one, and i just want her to know her kindness was incredibly meaningful. She really went above and beyond and it was greatly appreciated. The whole interaction made me feel at ease about where my loved one is staying. She will always hold a special place in my heart. The act was small, but meant the world to me.

Some people are just trying to make it through the day. And when people are surviving, they don’t always have the capacity to stop and appreciate the people who are helping them survive. But I see y’all. I see the work that goes into making these meals. I see the talent. I appreciate being able to come in here and try something I might not normally eat because I know if I’m not feeling brave that day, there’s usually something basic I can eat too. And them soul bowls? Please keep making those. I know everybody who comes through this line might not say thank you. They might not smile. They might not even realize what they have here right now. But if these meals stopped being served, people would know real quick what they lost. So I just wanted y’all to know that somebody sees it. I appreciate the food. I appreciate the work. This place helped me more than I thought it would. I had my doubts and went in with a bad attitude, but the staff was really patient with me, more than I probably deserved at first. But it got easier after the first couple of days, I ended up learning recovery tools I can actually use. It wasn’t just unpractical stuff that nobody can really do. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because I had some trouble getting info on the phone at first before I came in. But overall, they got me the help I needed

I’ve been a patient here for several years, I’ve had three different therapists in this time, and two psychiatrists. I have nothing but good things to say about the whole operation. I’ve experienced more personal growth since starting therapy with Syntero, than I had in 15 years of prior therapy. I definitely recommend trying these guys, if you’re in need of this type of service.

When I was attending, while it took time to get you set up with a counselor and or medication if it is needed, this place genuinely cares about the mental wellbeing of their customers. They want to help and were very friendly and supportive.
