Recovery and Wellness has been nothing but nice and empathetic. Just over a month and a half, I have felt a positive difference with my mood, motivation, relationships, happiness, and my body. My therapist and I connect via video chat on the weekends which makes it very convenient for my busy teenage life! Not only was I recommended by a friend, I have continued to recommend people I know when they mention they are struggling. Not only that, I found a lovely place that took my insurance (which not many places do) and it is in the same building where my pediatrician used to be, which gives lots of comfort and familiarity. The office manager, Kiersten, is very sweet, always supportive, and understanding. Also, the therapist, Jen Kimpan, is absolutely amazing & understanding!! They all have a big place in my heart ❤️ My family and I are forever grateful for them, and we’re thankful for God leading me to them. I honestly would have been in jail or dead if it wasn’t for my support group from North Dayton addiction & recovery! Appointments are quick and productive & the staff cares and is understanding if you make a mistake or come to them with an issue. Ive had months where money was tight and they made sure to work with me so I didn't go without my meds. I get my meds when I need them. Some body usually answers the phone depending on what day it is and time of day. I also like how all the Services all in one building. They Offer a lot of programs that will help you but you have to be willing to put in the work. Case management is amazing those woman that work up there are the best on what they do. Counseling is also really nice as well. I highly recommend this place to new and old Ohioans that want to work on them selfs. I can’t receive my meds Brandi 1 year ago I've been going to spero health clinic for about 5 years now,they are absolutely amazing,I went to spero health in Chillicothe for about 3 years they're amazing and we moved to Dayton and I started going to spero health clinic on main Street in trotwood Ohio and they are also amazing,they treat you like family never judge you they make sure your taking care of,get your medicine and they also work on tapering you down when your ready. All the nurses, doctor's and counselor's are all loving caring nonjudging and do all they can for you to succeed in your journey of sobriety.. spero is by far the best Suboxone treatment clinic of all places,I would highly recommend going to this place if you need help on becoming sober and changing your line around,they go out of they're way to help you even if you need a place to live, a job medical, mental health and anything else you may need help with... I absolutely love everyone who has helped me thru this live changing sober life I'm living for the past 6 1/2 years.... Thank you spero health for all you guy's have done and still continue to do for me... I started out on 2 subs a day 8mg now I'm down to 3/4 of 4-1mg a day.... Harry 2 years ago I’m going to make a different kind of review for PC because I personally don’t go there but I know several people who have been in the program for many years & some who are still in the program. Through those people I feel I can make a review especially since I’ve been familiar with it for over 15 years . I have personally gotten to know people myself due to me knowing people going there awhile . I know some of these friendships outside of the program . Some of the same People ride to PC together every morning on the days they go & this to has become a routine . They call to make sure each other is up & ready . They have even become friends with their driver who picks them up. They acknowledge Birthdays , Christmas & sometimes even exchange small gifts because it’s “ the thought that counts.” With the building closing on Daruma Pkwy , Clients have to chose between 2 other locations to go to which means people will not get to see their usual friends or the people they are use to seeing on a daily basis. I seriously feel bad for everyone having to make that decision. I believe part of rehabilitation is having someone to talk to, having a social life & being around others that you have known for years. Not everyone will be able to go to the same location so it’s sad that they have to split up like they are . I thought the bldg on Daruma was a great location & near the bus line as well. I've been with them for 15 years. But their housing program is okay. I also like the fact that there's a pharmacy right there inside. I've been using Eastway's Pharmacy since they opened up. I definitely like that your meds can be delivered to your front door IF you have No Way of getting to the Eastway building. IF you have (a) prescription(s) that needs to be filled the same day you go in for an appointment with a Doctor they will have it filled by the time you're done with your appointment. I will Always recommend Eastway to someone that needs mental health and proper medications. I like the staff that works there. Everyone is very nice to you and they usually have a smile on their face. I try to get a laugh out of one of them and it usually works. As long as Eastway has their doors open I will continue to go there. The staff is wonderful. I'm glad that I have a case manager for longer than two years. My case manager now (and has been for 4 solid years.) She goes above and beyond the call of duty. (She's been there for about 20 years). She helps me go grocery shopping and soon to do laundry up the road. I Pray everyday that I don't lose the case manager I have now. I have pleasant feelings for Eastway. IF you get the chance to be a client at Eastway, remember that getting the right medication can take some time. It took them close to 13 years of trying different medications to get the right regimen that works for ME. I also like the fact that there's a Bus Stop right out front of the building. 😎🤗🤓💜✌️🤙👌💟☮️. I hope you can enjoy the care and staff there. Everyone there is a happy, pleasant person. I LOVE EASTWAY!!! The ONLY way I'll go somewhere else is IF they close their doors. My mother told me about Eastway and when I started the "Journey" there I had a sense of good things to come my way. The rollercoaster of emotions that I was going through finally ended when I became a client at Eastway. At first I didn't like it there because of TWO case managers they Always had a funky attitude towards me and dismissed the fact that I'm there for Mental Health. I'm getting treatment for my Bipolar Disorder. Looking back I'm Glad that I got help from them. IF I didn't make the first appointment to go there, I HIGHLY DOUBT I would be alive right now making this post. Eastway is the one facility that I recommend EVERYONE to go to for Mental Health. My previous doctor had abruptly moved to Spain and being stranded without a referral to ensure no lapses in prescription refills was very difficult. They were very empathetic and treated my situation with urgency. They continue to accommodate any scheduling conflicts I have and go out of their way to make sure my medication is sent on time. She made sure not to rush the process (I had this poor woman on the phone FOREVER) and answered every question I had with enthusiasm and kindness and let me speak with Lindsey (who was also amazing) to make sure my specific questions were answered correctly before returning back to her to complete scheduling. She was incredibly professional (they both were) and very personable, incredibly understanding, and extremely helpful. She made a very intimidating process super delightful and less overwhelming. I spent five months here between ages 17 and 18, and genuinely believe that I owe my continuing existence to this place. Before going, I was so scared of what I would be without my depression and anxiety - I had grown so comfortable in it that I was truly convinced it was and should be my entire personality. I was regularly hurting myself, watching disturbing videos (that I'm still dealing with in therapy today), and worse. I was terrified to come here, but it wasn't at all what I had expected. The place was warm, welcoming, and matter-of-fact about what was going on. They aren't overly-coddling, they're there to seriously help you, and if you genuinely want help and to change, then you will change for the better every time. Many people are put off by how hard the work to change your mindset and essentially entire mental identity really is, and they give up. But this place paved the way for me to become who I am today. I learned coping skills and ways of thinking here that I would never have ever learned anywhere else, and I am so happy to see the people I love have improved mental health after I teach them some of the skills that I learned here.
