Plenty of comfortable clean beds, meds available daily for maximum comfort, and, oh yeah, tvs in every room. Outings often, amazing groups, not too many, not too few. The staff as a whole genuinely cares about you becoming a better person as they give you the tools to maintain the healthy experience to live a sober life. Carina has from day one been a pleasure to be around cuz of her sense of humor and her care in her heart of concern for each person here. Jose the main guy got me socks and boxers and the stuff I needed when I first came to. Stephanie is amazing on the medical side of things as well as all the other nurses here. Staff is what got me to stay here and they have amazing possibilities after this next step totally recommend this place for anyone seeking treatment and wanting to maintain sobriety afterwards. I waa on the brink of losing my marriage. The staff at LAOP met me exactly where I was, which was.a lot of denial. They always made me feel taken care of, from the intake call to.dischage. These are a beautiful group of diverse and loving people. I was sad to leave, but knew I was now prepared for les intensive tx. The mix of personal one-on-one therapy with the many weekly group therapy and educational sessions was exactly what I needed, and I was able to address several different demons that were all contributing to my drinking problem. I thought each therapist brought something different to the table which helped with a nice well rounded set of points of view. I happened to be with a cool group of people (all different backgrounds and dealing with different things in their lives) and it felt like a little family as the weeks went on. If you bring the right mindset and take it seriously, you can do extremely well here. Insurance can be a nightmare, but that's not at all to do with the actual services offered so don't let some of these careless reviews deter you from getting treatment. Cody Cochran 4 months ago I have had terrible experiences in the past with county facilities, but I have to say from the moment I stepped foot into this didi hirsch location, I was greeted by empathetic ears, and once they heard my story, they vowed to help me. I don t struggle with addiction, but I have had true mental health issues in the past and my therapist at Didi hirsch, Colleen, has been amazing at addressing them. The program they have me in is to avoid any future hospitalizations, which is a service I wish I had known about many years ago.I will say the only thing I don t like about this location is the Soviet looking building it conducts business in, it is very outdated but that s no reflection of the hard working therapists there. I m sure if they could make it nicer they would.In terms of my experience as a client there 10/10, would recommend. The therapists were probably the nicest, most caring, therapists I’ve ever met. The groups here are my #1 favorite out of all of the places I’ve ever been and they are led by the therapists. The chef 👌🏾 literally didn’t make a single thing that I didn’t like, I loved everything he cooked. The house is extremely clean. The outings every week were one of my favorite things here as well. And if you asked the staff or therapist for anything they absolutely tried their hardest to make it happen. Adam is super kind and caring and always addressed any issues I had. I’m not an easy client but I appreciate all the staff here who put up with me. I left early due to me not being able to handle some of the stricter policy’s but it doesn’t change how I feel about the staff and my time there. I truly felt love from her kind caring heart. She continues to stay in touch even though I am no longer there . The facility is clean and welcoming and the food is great. Once my mind & body could talk and walk she started therapy, meetings gave me more attention than I deserved. Dr. C and her and staff put me back together medically, physically and emotionally. It took 6 weeks of her Professional patients to bring me back to life and I have realized how fortunate l am to have met her. If anyone is hesitating on "surrender" Dr. C. - Josh & the Staff will make you comfortable, rested, loved and detoxed ready to get your life back. I've been to a dozen detoxes/rehabilitations in the past, 56 years old. I've been lied to by intake, telemarketers, showed up, walked out, name it… I've seen it. She is the only professional that told the truth (no sales pitch) and honored her word to the end. She handled the highest level of care, experience, love and professional knowledge. She treated my Son like royalty when he came to visit. I now have approx. 6 months of clean time because I was gifted a true & valuable life lesson of how to live.
