My entire experience with SilverMist, from the over the phone assessment, to the Company’s driver that picked me up from home, to the first Tech who greeted me and did my intake, all the subsequent techs, therapists, both my individual and other group therapists, the medical team including both nurses and doctors , groundskeepers, the housekeeper Tammy, Aaron, the chefs, Laura and Michelle, the BHT manager, Scott, the Executive Director, Ryan, and last but not least Pickles the official unofficial mascot of the grounds made my stay here the best experience in helping me on my journey of recovery. Their holistic approach that encompasses Mental, Emotional, Physical, and Spiritual Wellbeing on order to help us become better people.

She was always so helpful and went out of her way for what ever I needed. The facility here is small, older and out dated . Now Beaver County is getting s totally new clinic at the Mall . So no complaints here about the care I was given at the Rochester clinic . Also VSO Kathy whose office is currently in the courthouse , did an amazing job getting me a higher disability rating and applying for my property tax exemption. Now here in Florida, I met with the VSO about reapplying here for property tax exemption and was told not their job, I would have to do that myself. So anyone in need of the VSO please see Kathy at the courthouse , she’ll put in the work ,

This is my I love letter to Abie Abraham VA Clinic, Butler PA.
I love this VA from my PCP Samantha Jo Carlantonio and her team, to my Psychiatrist Dr. Garibo to Ms Terry (I have gained a best friend) at the whole health, to my eyes care team Dr Dohoda (what a brilliant mind) and Ms Emily (she is the BEST) and the rest of the team. To the two doctors I’ve seen in orthopedic, to the new podiatrist… what an amazing Dr., to the physical therapy team where I’ve been seen countless of times, how wonderful they all are. Also my Dentist Dr. Cagni (how amazingly caring is she) and her team. To the urgent care team what a magnificent staff, the expedited treatment, the in and out it’s just evidence of caring of people. To the laboratory team wonderful professional and efficient “vampires”. To all the receptionist, the front and the individual one in the different areas they are amazingly friendly and caring. To the cleaning personnel, a team that I don’t see much but their presence is felt throughout the facility, how clean they keep the place. To the records team, they are all so polite and efficient. To the pharmacy team, and the friendly smile of the gentleman dispensing medication. To the security team and the volunteers that greet me as I walk in. I feel very blessed to be taken cared of these professionals.
This facility is easy to walk through and the elevators are very nice. I also would like to mention that there is always parking space, and during winter, snow is removed for parking space.
Now the teams that need lots of improvement are Community Care, which it does not feel that they care at all. I’ve walked in that office twice in 3 years and I was treated as if I was bothering and interrupting when there was no one there. They are not any better over the phone, a a minimum they need a class on how to be professional, no one can’t teach CARE. Another place that needs a LOT to improve is the Social Work services, the times I have been referred to them, I get incomplete information where they tell me where to research instead of them doing the research or they send me information useless information of horses instead of service dog information. They also have not been good to talk to over the phone. The travel Voucher gentleman is not user friendly and the Little cafeteria does not allow Service Dogs, shame and you would have to walk through there to get to the little exchange, which I have not visited since I certified my service dog.
I thank all for the LOVE and CARE I receive in this facility and to the ones that need to improve … well… get to it, you are ruining the atmosphere and vibe.

My husband is there and I never leave reviews but this place or let me say the people that work at that place are so awesome I can’t express just how great they really are. I’m four hours from there and had to bring some personal items for my husband but I have to work during the day ,they’re cut off time for drop off is 4 or 6PM, I didn’t get there till after 9 o’clock and they were so understanding and nice about it. And my husband isn’t the friendliest and doesn’t really care for people but he’s in such a good space it sounds and he’s actually getting something from being there. He says the people are great there. I’ve had to call there for a few times. I missed 3 phone calls so I had to make sure he was OK The person on the other end of the phone actually called him up to there and let me speak to him to let me know he was OK and to let him know I was OK that I didn’t answer and little things like that really mean A lot. If you’re seeking treatment, you’re a male I would check this place out 110%.

I cannot say enough good things about the VA Pittsburgh Medical Center and every person my family and I have encountered there.
At first, I thought our positive experiences might be a fluke—that we were simply encountering people on a “good day.” But after accompanying my dad to the facility many times over the years, and now more consistently as he undergoes seven weeks of chemotherapy and radiation, I know it is not a fluke. It is the culture.
That culture of care is evident in everyone—from the people who clean the bathrooms and the cashiers in the store to every doctor, nurse, assistant, and social worker. Every person is attentive and helpful. If someone notices that you look lost or confused, they stop and ask if they can help. People hold doors, say thank you, and greet you with a smile. I wish every medical facility operated this way.
With a background in social work, I have seen my share of care that was neither positive nor patient-centered. I have also navigated the civilian healthcare system with my mom, who is not a veteran, and the difference between those experiences and the care at the VA Pittsburgh Medical Center is night and day.
The efficiency of this facility is remarkable. If my dad needs a consultation or I ask about additional support, someone is often calling me the very next day. Things get done—and they get done quickly. I am accustomed to a system in which phone calls go unanswered, questions are met with frustration, and services can take months to put in place. That has not been our experience here.
With my mom being 80 and my dad being 76, navigating his cancer diagnosis has been overwhelming and confusing, to say the least. Throughout it all, we have experienced nothing but patience, compassion, and support.
I truly thank God that we live close to this facility and that my dad can receive this level of care. My heartfelt thanks go to every person who works to make the culture at the VA Pittsburgh Medical Center so exceptional and thank you everyone who takes care of the men and women who serve and have served our country. Semper Fi!

Very easy to be seen with minimal wait time, which I really appreciated. Pricing was transparent and clearly explained upfront. The therapist was amazing — kind, attentive, and truly made me feel comfortable and heard. They took the time to listen and made the session feel supportive and personalized. Overall a great experience, and I would absolutely recommend Makin Wellness!

Pittsburgh, PA | Located north of downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, just blocks away from the Ohio River and the Andy Warhol Museum is the Salvation Army Harbor Light Center. This is a long term residential treatment facility that serves men aged 18 and older. This center provides a safe and supportive place for men to live as they work through substance abuse and | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I normally do not partake in surveys or take the time to acknowledge greatness when coming in contact with it. 5 months ago I was told I "HAD" to come here...yay another forced try at recovery nudged by the judge...I came to Harbor Light with a nasty attitude bc I hated myself and the decisions I had been making that paved my path to this facilities front door. I entered kicking and screaming and blaming everyone but myself for being there...then I met Nikki U. She worked the front desk and handled the day in and day out logistics and she did more for me than she will ever realize or care to take credit for...then Cassie, Gerald, Mark, Deb, James, Chris, and Kris, and Paul, and Miranda and on and on. The staff is phenomenal...the resources they line you up with has given me the best possible chance at sobriety and I will forever be grateful to Harbor Light and the staff as a whole bc this place is filled with the sunlight of the spirit and I feel it each and every single day! All praises to God and his soldiers who show up for battle everyday strapped with smiles and love! Xoxo❤️

Haven't had any issues since starting here. I've been to 2 other clinics besides Progressive and I'd choose it over those 2 at any time. Great staff, quiet, and a quick process every single time!

Great people here. If you're looking to foster, I highly recommend using Pressley Ridge. They were the absolute best part of the whole foster and adoption process. Allegheny County CYF, they were the absolute worst and most inconsistent part of the whole process.
