The office workers, the counselor's are all great, especially Amber, my counselor. But my 2 favorite people in the building are Doctor Anderson and the addictions nurse, Karen. Them two have helped me with several other non addiction health issues. But I cannot say enough kind words to aptly describe just how awesome this collection of dedicated people who are easy to talk to and who also come from a place of understanding. You Rock A.C.A.S.A. I love that you can just walk in for a crisis appointment anytime and they will find a counselor for you to talk to if yours is unavailable if you're having a really hard day. They have a crisis hotline and the people who answer are really nice and helpful. The atmosphere here is really welcoming. I love that the staff here helps me believe in myself by challenging me to think more positive and use healthy coping skills in my everyday life. My personal expirence is I have a consistent therapist that took the time to know me..well I have had a few that challenged me,and if your going thru something and your hateing on the place and you feel like they arnt treating fairly? It's ok it's part of the process. And the Dr knows me well and actually talks to me..and he always gives me his "Jerry Springer last thought" before the session ended.i gave 4 stars because nothings perfect and normal is just a setting on a dryer.
