I've been to better and been to worse. They provide a therapeutic environment that allows clients the opportunity to heal and grow. They feed you well, the coffee is real and usually strong (though limited to meal times,) the gym is better than most. There are ample smoke breaks and there are decent amenities. It's not the Ritz, but it's not supposed to be. They're definitely understaffed, but the team they currently have is full of dedicated and compassionate people which made all the difference in my stay and helped my find direction and hope. I'm very satisfied and grateful.🙏

This is a great facility. My sister-in-law had foot surgery here twice. Spotlessly clean, concierge level service from the staff. Everything runs perfectly on time and the nurses, PAs and doctors actually look you in the eye and care about you. Although nobody wants to be in a hospital, if you have to be in one, this is the best option in the Allentown area.

Dr. Jennifer Dailey (the Allentown VA Chiropractor) is absolutely THE BEST! I have seen over a dozen chiropractors since my service injury in 2012 and she is undoubtedly the one that has helped me regain quality of life, and reduce most of my pain. Dr. Dailey dug deep into my injuries with proper technique, she thinks outside the box to find solutions, she never cuts a corner when providing my adjustment, and she has supported me with at home tips and tricks to continue my healing. I used to have pain just walking and simply existing in my daily life, but because of her and her team, I am now able to become more active, have significantly less pain, and sleep uninterrupted throughout the night. If you are a veteran in pain, do yourself a favor and ask for her. If you are an employee or supervisor at the VA, go shake her hand because she deserves it. 10/10

This place is wonderful. I used to go here when I was younger and they were in a different office down the street. The staff were super nice and seemed to genuinely care about the wellbeings of their clients, along with the others in the waiting room. I was maybe only thirteen, but it was an amazing experience. I stopped because I felt I had no longer needed therapy, considering I was only in it following a traumatic event. Flash forward to now. I currently see Andrea and she is the BEST therapist I have worked with. She always listens to everything I have to say and is eager to hear updates on past things we discussed. She remembers things very well and always steers me back on topic when I go off on a tangent. Kurt, who works at the front desk, is also super friendly and is super nice. He recognizes me now considering I attend weekly sessions and always greets me upon arrival. Their main goal is to ensure you are physically, emotionally, and mentally safe around yourself and others and I believe it is one of the best things ever. I highly recommend this place to anyone considering to go here. Andrea has helped me so much in the short amount of time I've been attending her sessions, and I feel like I'm not the only one who has these beliefs. Ignore these hateful 1 star reviews and listen to the people who know and understand. This place is amazing and I feel super comfortable in it.

Hi, my name is Leanna and I was sent to Kidspeace on January 14th? 2021 and stayed in the Wright house until March 18th 2021. I've been reading the reviews and I just wanted to say I'm terribly sorry that y'all had the experiences you did. My experience however, was amazing. I was probably the worst headspace ever and Kidspeace in just 3 months saved me. There was of course, things I hated. Like at the intake, you had to fully strip and they had to examine you. Stuff like that. There was a girl who broke the huge tv, ruined our living area, self harmed, awoled, and was horrible to staff.and yet I loved her dearly; she was the sweetest Angel, she was just misunderstood. (Yes I truly believe that. She didn't know how to cope with the terrible life she had.) I was fortunate enough to quickly learn how to work the program. Within weeks, I was shortly moved up the behavior "chart" for good behavior. But it wasn't easy; I know I'm making it seem like it, but there were many trials I had to overcome. Although I was always on the lists for "picks" and I made some good friends,(including Savannah, ((My lovely Anna, I still have ur poem<3)) and Carly, and Bri.) it was so so hard to keep going sometimes. But certain staff helped me through it. They'd stay up with me past their shift just letting me vent and talking with me Without the people mentioned, I truly wouldn't have survived. I wish I could have stayed longer than I did, but my insurance didn't cover my stay. I guess what I'm trying to say, is Kidspeace is what you make it, at least for me. I still honestly sometimes wanna go back when times get rough. So, thank you Kidspeace for everything you did for me. I remember painting my name in the basement of the activity building and signing it. And I still have every letter from every client, every peace of art, and every little trinket that holds memories.<333

I had a great experience at Silver Pines. This was my first time experiencing residential treatment and my only regret was not doing it sooner. The staff was wonderful, I met a lot of great people and it has dramatically improved my life so far since being back home. I was hesitant to commit because it involved leaving home but knowing what I know now it was absolutely the correct decision. They present many different programs and tools to help, encourage you to explore the root causes and show care/compassion throughout. The food was great, days went quickly with a variety of activities and the other folks there made it a pleasant experience and allowed us to learn from each other in addition to the formal sessions.
