The AMAZING staff at the Caron Foundation facility in Del Ray Beach truly saved my sons life. As of tomorrow, he will have been sober for one full year!! The treatment at Caron surpassed all of his and my expectations. He had been in several rehabs over many years, and they would assist in helping him to get sober but after 15 to 30 days, out he went. The reasons for his continued addiction was never addressed. At Caron, the program they offer is life changing. Not only did they help get him sober but FINALLY the reasons behind the addiction were brought out front and center. The staff's ability to guide and push when needed to help get at the root of the origin of his addiction was our answer. We know he will struggle each day but going from where he was, on the street, homeless, to where he is now, brought him back to his family. We truly went years not having the knowledge to help. The staff at Caron , not only helped my son , but helped me. We went to visit him a few times while he was in treatment and the staff were beyond accommodating, along with their kindness and compassion for what they do, with each patient. I would highly recommend the Caron Treatment Center for anyone or any family hoping to have their loved one back .

I have been coming to this location since the Mt.Pocono office was closed down. Ishima was my therapist at that site, and I make the drive to Allentown specifically to see her. In the three years I have been seeking treatment with Kidspeace, it's always been a positive experience. My reason for seeking treatment forced me to be very thorough in my looking into many different organizations and I can say I have made the right choice with Kidspeace.

I've been to better and been to worse. They provide a therapeutic environment that allows clients the opportunity to heal and grow. They feed you well, the coffee is real and usually strong (though limited to meal times,) the gym is better than most. There are ample smoke breaks and there are decent amenities. It's not the Ritz, but it's not supposed to be. They're definitely understaffed, but the team they currently have is full of dedicated and compassionate people which made all the difference in my stay and helped my find direction and hope. I'm very satisfied and grateful.🙏

(This is a long one) I’ve had my fair share of therapists before and each time it was a crash and burn situation. It never worked out for me, I always felt like it was too much. I pushed it off until it smacked me in the face. I can genuinely say EVERY SINGLE STAFF MEMBER DOWN TO THE RECEPTIONISTS ( especially Kaela, dr. Nelson, Greg & Nicole for me) welcomed me with opened arms at a time I needed it most. I never not once felt judged nor put down. I was held accountable each step of the way and able to express myself. Each one of them taught me a lot about my triggers, my attachment styles, my anger, the work I had to put in on my self and just the really understanding and loving the overall person I am. They taught me to identify why I was using bad habits to cope with my feelings.
I really don’t have the words to explain how much they have helped me. If so I would be here all day. Let me try to sum it up.
I had never been to therapy long term(some therapists just wouldn’t call back). I had never been on medication for my mental health(I would gas light myself and create bad habits to cope). I was in therapy for about a year and a half with kaela, Greg and dr Nelson. Some days I wish I had never left(I moved out the state). Dr. Nelson always listened to me, he helped me understand what was going on mentally. During my time he worked with me to find medications that helped me function daily. It wasn’t easy but he never gave up and he never pushed me to take anything I didn’t like or want to be on. Greg helped me to look within. He taught me not to bottle up my emotions and how to express what I’m feeling in a better way than I was. I have to give my props to Kaela for dealing with me the longest tho. Instantly I clicked with her. She really sets the bar high when it comes to a therapist for me. She listened to me yap on and on and she didn’t make me feel like I was a burden with my weekly visits. I actually looked forward to going to my visits.. even when I went back on my word. She didn’t make me feel ashamed of myself(No one there did) She always remembered everything, even when I didn’t. She made me hold myself accountable for my actions, as she did also. I loved that about her most. She didn’t let me slip. She helped me realize why I was doing certain things or why I was reacting the way I would and what they could’ve stemmed from. Other therapists didn’t do what they did for me mentally, even spiritually. Everyone at Caron is like a family to me at this point. I recommend everyone to come to Caron. All my friends, family, strangers. They made me realize therapy and asking for help wasn’t bad after all. If you needed a sign. This is it.

I had emergency colon surgery in March at Allentown. Unfortunately, they did it in a hurry because that what was necessary at the time. I had 9 weeks of pain and issues and required a second emergency surgery in May. The good news is, then I met Dr. Daniel J. Bowers. He became my regular doctor through this and I saw him several times. He is an excellent doctor and a very good man. He always took time to explain my situation with understanding and compassion when I was at a very low point in my life. I've been home 2 weeks and haven't felt this good in months. I finally feel like everything is behind me. A special thanks to Dr. Stewart and medical student Nate. AND the 8th floor nursing staff, especially Faye and Sam!!! I could never do the kind of work that these medical professionals do every day! But, I am grateful that they do! God bless them all!

Shout out to vanja, dawn, julissa and the rest of the nursing staff for helping make recovery possible. Some people go to get sober. Some people go to maintain getting high in a safe way when doing the methadone program. To each their own. I personally made a goal and got off and never looked back! So thankful for this program. This is my 2nd review. My 1st review was from 3 years ago when I first started at Northeast Family Healthcare. Since then I had to transfer because I moved and I thought that I would write another review to let people know that for 3 years the staff faithfully stayed true to their teachings and never once judged me or made me feel like a low piece of s@%! even when I relapsed. I never had to lie who I was and cheat my way thru the program to stay in the program. After being a client at Northeast Family Healthcare in Quakertown for 3 years, I can honestly say this clinic has been life-changing for me. Having to transfer due to my move to another County was one of the hardest parts about relocating.
What sets Northeast Family Healthcare apart is their incredible staff. Every person I encountered there treated me with dignity, respect, and genuine care. In recovery settings, being treated like a human being rather than just another case makes all the difference. i do want to base this review on my therapist.
I cannot emphasize enough how instrumental Anna was in my recovery journey. In my 20+ years in various treatment programs (since 1999), I've NEVER connected with a therapist the way I did with Anna from day one. For all three years, she was my rock and a consistent source of support.
What made Anna exceptional was her genuine approach to therapy. She truly listened - not just nodded along, but actually remembered details from our previous sessions. During my struggles and occasional relapses, she never once responded with anger, criticism, or disappointment. Instead, she helped me explore what happened, develop better coping strategies, and work through my underlying traumas.
Anna's sincerity and passion for helping others is evident in everything she does. She clearly loves her job, and that authentic care makes all the difference for clients like me. I can confidently say that without her guidance, I wouldn't be clean today. Anna, I am going to miss you so much. You clearly were a gift from God. Thankyou for being you and accepting me for me. i had so much fun in our weekly Zoom meetings. I am clean today with the help from you and never giving up on me. Please keep in touch and if you ever find another job please keep my contact info and let me know. (This is a prime example of why stable treatment is a must and consistently having the same therapist instead of always getting a new therapist assigned to you.)

I've been a patient here since 2015 amd they saved my life for sure. I had lost everything due to my addiction and since going here I've rebuilt my life from the ground up. I have a home multiple vehicles a wife and 2 amazing kids and I couldn't have done it without this place. I work some crazy hours sometimes being away for a couple days at a time and they have made sure I have my medication no matter what. Dr. Jennifer Dailey (the Allentown VA Chiropractor) is absolutely THE BEST! I have seen over a dozen chiropractors since my service injury in 2012 and she is undoubtedly the one that has helped me regain quality of life, and reduce most of my pain. Dr. Dailey dug deep into my injuries with proper technique, she thinks outside the box to find solutions, she never cuts a corner when providing my adjustment, and she has supported me with at home tips and tricks to continue my healing. I used to have pain just walking and simply existing in my daily life, but because of her and her team, I am now able to become more active, have significantly less pain, and sleep uninterrupted throughout the night.
If you are a veteran in pain, do yourself a favor and ask for her. If you are an employee or supervisor at the VA, go shake her hand because she deserves it.

I had 15 sessions with Ana. She really knows what she is doing. She gave me some exercises I could use when my anxiety starts getting really bad. I am so happy to say that they really work. There was an problem someone else was having and it escalated where this man was yelling at the admin team. It made me feel so uncomfortable and they had no security. WDR was my first and hopefully last rehab. I didn’t really know what to expect but I can say this place and everyone who works there are top notch. From the kitchen staff to housekeeping. The nurse and techs cared more about my recovery than I did. They really try to work with you. My case worker Donna was the bomb and even though she was in charge of my case that didn’t stop any of the workers from helping me when I needed it. The techs have a story of their own and they really get it. No one was judge mental and they treated everyone like a human being. There isn’t one person who worked there that I wish I didn’t meet. I honestly wish I could have bought them all home with me. Even the community was awesome. Clients helping clients. I give WDR a 10+ on the rating skill. The director even steps in and got his hands dirty. It’s team work at its best. I honestly fought the program the whole time for my own reasons. A week later I’m still sober ❤️ Thanks WDR for believing in me even when I didn’t believe in myself you guys made a good impact on me and my family Loves y’all more. Good luck to anyone who joins this program you will not be disappointed ❤️💪

I love my providers, Doreen Storz (physician assistant) and Nichole (therapist). They are amazing and caring. I previously saw Allison (therapist) in January until she transferred me to Nichole in February. Only downside is the practice doesn’t use an EHR patient portal for patients to access their health information. Highly recommend this practice.

I’m not sure how to adequately put into words how thankful I am for this school. My son was diagnosed with autism in December 2023. To say I was scared and clueless, would be an understatement. Daycare couldn’t handle him and I was so lost. When I found First Children’s Services, it was as if the clouds parted to let the sun shine through. The staff at First Children’s are compassionate and highly trained to help my son be the best version of himself. They are my lifeline and I am so grateful to have them in my court advocating for my son’s overall success. I honestly can’t recommend First Children’s Services enough. They were my ray of hope in a time when I had none.

New Orefield facility is far, but there is a bus 5 out of 6 days and Sunday is closed so they supply a take home on Saturday as long as you have a lockbox.
The new facility is a HUGE step up! It's very clean, big and beautiful! All new staff seem amazing and the few older staff who stuck around were always amazing. This is the place you want to be if you're ready to get your life back. Don't forget 1 second think it's going to be easy though...
