I can't say enough good things about New Horizons. They genuinely care about their patients and foster an incredible environment that makes a difficult process way more enjoyable (if that's even possible). I was extremely nervous and hesitant opening up throughout my recovery journey, but NH made those fears go away almost immediately, especially after meeting the entire staff and other clients. I'm not usually one to post reviews, but I wanted to share my experience in case you or your loved one are struggling with addiction/mental health and are looking for a place to heal/grow. Thank you to New Horizons and everyone I have met along the way, and thank you for reading. :)

I have been with Holcomb for 2 months now and the treatment is excellent. I was set up with an intake interview 3 weeks from the day I called, then I was matched with a therapist the day of my intake appointment. She s a terrific therapist and very kind and empathetic. The staff is thoughtful and they text and call me every week to remind me of my appointment. I am able to schedule my appointments up to a month ahead, which is great. I would highly recommend this office for anyone looking to start or restart (as I did) therapy, it is a safe and comfortable environment to be.

Rec | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I m so grateful to my 30 days I spent at RCA Devon to get my life back together. This was my first time in treatment and I was scared to say the least. The therapists, group facilitators and RSS s realized how frightening of a time this was and took the time out of their days to make sure I was comfortable. The floor community we had was the most uplifting group of people I ve ever been a part of by far and I m still close with several people I d consider dear friends now. The care from RCA didn t just end when the 30 days passed , the made sure to outline aftercare for me and set everything up , not to mention working directly with my employer to handle FMLA so I wouldn t have that to worry about as well. If you re ready and willing to get help for yourself but are unsure of an extended in person rehab stay I couldn t recommend more giving it a try. PRC honestly saved my life. I came here with fear, hopelessness, and no spirituality. Trust this program and trust all of the staff here. When I truly began putting in the work, feelings of hopelessness went away, slowly over time. The therapist I was assigned to here, is extremely supportive and knowledgeable. The clinical director here, is overall amazing. Shawn the program housing manager, I cannot thank him enough. Shawn and Brandt continued to let me back here after many slip ups. They let me back because they saw something in me that I did not see in myself. I believed I could never recover, but they saw otherwise. Everyone here loves you until we love ourselves. My Journey to this point has consisted of 3 rehabs(not court ordered), 2 DUIs, as well as LOTS of good times, lots of travel, the best Friends and Family! A valuable life worth living! A true Alcoholic that should never ever hold or pick up a drink! Unfortunately now I'm plagued with Kidney and Liver Disease. Initially the mere thought of having a 3 hour meeting with a Therapist and small group was the LAST thing in my Vision. However I need this service for 3 months to possibly get on the Kidney Transplant List. I have grown to truly enjoy Kyle's IOP group. I look forward to it and miss it on Wednesdays and Fridays. Kyle has opened my eyes and nudged me to attend meetings. My answer turned from NO thank you, to I will give AA meetings a go. Keep in mind that I have been in and out of the Program for 20+ years. Guess what? I am enjoying AA meetings now! I dreaded them before. I am grateful to Kyle and his group for pushing me to my next step in Recovery. Such a blessing!! I would highly recommend Key Recovery and Kyle!-Juanita S.

My son recently completed a 12-month treatment program at the Manor of Hope and his recovery from substance use issues is nothing short of miraculous due largely in part to the care he received at the Manor from Steve Killelea and his staff of highly skilled counselors. Every parent's nightmare is watching your kid battle the demons that mental illness and drugs unleash on them. Long care treatment facilities like the Manor work better to treat addiction than the short-term, for-profit institutions that fail more often than not to help those suffering from these illnesses. My current relationship with my son is night and day as Steve has helped to guide him into adulthood. Steve not only helped my son but counseled my wife and I on how to deal with my boy as he transitions back to family life. I am profoundly grateful and thankful to have crossed paths with Steve and the Manor of Hope and highly recommend the long-term care and treatment programs that the Manor can offer to those suffering from addiction and mental illness.

The Manor of Hope is making a huge difference in our son s life. We were desperate and needed help for our son, who is on the autistic spectrum. Steve took our son under his wing, and now he is learning how to live independently, slowly but surely. We did not think an independent life would be possible for him. Steve and our son s mentor, along with the other staff are teaching him skills that will last a lifetime. He recently was hired for a part-time job and is enrolled in a college course. The professionals that Steve have connected our son with, such as his psychiatrist and therapist, are excellent. The Manor of Hope has so many opportunities. Our son is learning how to cook through a weekly culinary class. He is taking care of a garden, and has a personal trainer and is working out on a regular basis He is always busy which is great for him. He also has structure. They take him on day trips and excursions. Our son is enjoying life and is happy. We are so thankful we have found Steve and the Manor of Hope. We were at the end of a very dark path and didn t know where to turn. Our son s life is now full, and he is growing and maturing every day. He is respectful towards us and is learning boundaries. All things we couldn t have achieved when he was home. He needs the Manor of Hope and he is also grateful for his time there.

The magic of this treatment center cannot be put into words. I’ve been working in this industry for nearly 8 years, have worked in a multitude of different settings and have seen the best of the best and the lowest of the low. I could tell you about all of the different treatment modalities we have to offer, the amenities, the activities and hilariously funny day to day antics, but most centers offer these things and isn’t what’s unique. What is unique when you walk into these doors is you don’t see 45 clients bored out of their minds anxious to leave, debating whether they “want this” or not . You don’t see a staff going through the motions of the day, wondering how they’re going to get it all done, miserable and burnt out. There is a light here, a joy and a happiness that fills the building. The first time I walked through those doors I saw true joy, belonging and hope. I saw a family which I’m TRULY blessed to be a part of.
Clients are anxiously waiting to start the day. Staff eagerly game planning for the day to help others while trying to keep their laughter at bay from the great day they had before to the great day they would have that day. Every staff knows every client, all with open doors and in constant engagement ready to help . I could go on but again words cannot explain what has been created here. My only hope is that anyone who is suffering, is looking for purpose and isn’t sure where to turn that they pick up that phone and give Redemtpion a shot. A new life awaits you or your loved one !

I ve been a patient at Holcomb Behavioral Health for almost 4yrs.I have never had an issue with anyone and I can be a difficult person. I m a Gemini so my evil twin is always trying to peek out to take over.My therapist has helped my family and I tremendously! The receptionist - OMG! I haven t seen her since the pandemic but when I have to physically go into Holcomb this awesome lovely lady always ask me about my son and ask how I m doing.I Love Holcomb for more reasons than that. I Love Holcomb because they help me navigate through life when life kicks me down. Holcomb changed my life and my children's live for the better. I feel bad that other people's comments are judgmental. I think that people are so closed minded now & days. So, if you re a patient at Holcomb then don t give up! Because I swear I recommend this life changing facility to anyone that needs mental health support.I wish everyone the best on their journey. GOD Bless You All!

I did not attend therapy here, because they were completely booked for months. Very busy practice. However, I spent 15 minutes on the phone with Nina, and she gave me expert referrals. Her customer service skills are incomparable: thank you!
