Matt Galabinske 8 years ago I have been with Holcomb for 2 months now and the treatment is excellent. I was set up with an intake interview 3 weeks from the day I called, then I was matched with a therapist the day of my intake appointment. She’s a terrific therapist and very kind and empathetic. The staff is thoughtful and they text and call me every week to remind me of my appointment. I am able to schedule my appointments up to a month ahead, which is great. I'm actually here now & although there's a bit of a wait, it's still comforting knowing my father will be in good hands. Initially the mere thought of having a 3 hour meeting with a Therapist and small group was the LAST thing in my Vision. However I need this service for 3 months to possibly get on the Kidney Transplant List. I have grown to truly enjoy Kyle's IOP group. I look forward to it and miss it on Wednesdays and Fridays. Kyle has opened my eyes and nudged me to attend meetings. My answer turned from NO thank you, to I will give AA meetings a go. Keep in mind that I have been in and out of the Program for 20+ years. Guess what? I am enjoying AA meetings now! I dreaded them before. I am grateful to Kyle and his group for pushing me to my next step in Recovery. Such a blessing!!
