Every element of this treatment experience is 5-star: one-on-one counseling, group therapy, Adventure Trek, lodging, amenities, food, staff. Inpatient and outpatient services are the best you’ll find anywhere. Staff truly care for each individual and want to see them succeed in their recovery. A very special place. Little Creek Lodge was my first and only rehabilitation facility, leaving me ill-prepared to compare it to any other practice. To preface, I am a young man in my twenties, I have a white collar career, and I'm gay. The idea of coming to an all male facility, trapped with other men for 30-days was a daunting prospect. At the end of my treatment, I've never felt so loved, supported, and valued. The staff have all been through recovery and their testimonials allowed me to trust them. I've been away from the facility for 4 months now, but am still in contact with those who helped me. You'll find no facility that cares for you more than Little Creek. They saved my life.

Thankful for Watergap Wellness- the best facility on the East Coast, if not in the US. What makes it the best is not only the beautiful grounds, but the people that work there and make you feel important and cared for every single day.

This place changed my life. I have spent the last 10 years rotating different treatment centers and nothing had a more profound and permanent impact on my recovery than water gap. From every aspect their treatment and experience is the best in class. A lot of the staff / psychiatrists have experienced addiction or mental health challenges in some capacity and to be supported in my recovery process by others who have REAL, lived experience and aren't just college educated / textbook informed academics trying to cure people of problems and challenges they can't relate to or understand from within is just one component of what makes Watergap so unique and so effective. The staff are not only extremely experienced and knowledgeable, but they have a perspective on recovery and healing that you can share and relate to with them, I think this also contributes to how caring the staff are, they really all take such a personal and deep interest in your recovery vs this just being a way to pay the bills and put their degree to use (which I have seen at many places). Beyond the staff and recovery approach being incredible and also unique, the grounds are absolutely stunning with world class amenities. The natural beauty surrounding the facility allows your mind and soul to really connect with nature in the healing process and there are also such a wide range of amenities it feels like being at a luxury resort. From a massage/spa room, hiking in the beautiful Poconos mountains, group yoga and meditation, themed dinner nights, a glass sun room for yoga sessions, a beautiful golf course, daily hikes, a swimming pool - there are endless ways at Watergate to stay constantly entertained, distracted, challenged and inspired. I am so thankful for Watergate for changing my life and can't say enough good things about my experience and the treatment I received there.

Serenity mountain changed my life! Between the caring house staff, knowledgeable clinical team and great activities, this is a great place to grow, learn and recover. While I was there, I was able to learn so much, about myself, my disease, and God. We had opportunities to go to off campus activities including drum aerobics, enerchi, yoga, church and even special things like concerts, ice cream runs, local NA/AA meetings and women’s retreats! The councilors genuinely care and want the best for each and every one of the girls on the mountain, and the house staff does everything they can to keep us safe, healthy, and happy throughout our time there. Sandy and Joe genuinely do their best to help each individual woman and truly care about recovery. The food is much better than most rehabs, and the rooms are large, clean and very comfortable. There is even two house dogs, Chloe and poppi, who make adjusting to the mountain much easier and provide great emotional support when needed! Overall, I highly recommend serenity mountain if addiction is something you struggle with, the road to recovery isn’t always easy, but the mountain is a great stopping point along the journey!

Hi my name is Susie, I am an alcoholic and drug addict. My sober date is 8/19/2022. On August 19th, 2022, I entered NHM Barryville, seeking answers to my family and childhood trauma and to learn more about the disease of addiction. I am not the same woman who entered those doors in Barryville almost two years ago. What should be mentioned is that the beginning of recovery is very difficult. 28-Day programs only touch the surface I say this because at 3 months, that s when the real work began. I attended NHM Barryville Inpatient Residential Program for Women for about 6 months. At NHM Barryville, women were able to choose which groups they would like to take. There are five groups that women attend from 8am to 3pm Monday through Friday. Some examples of these groups are ACOA, Brain and Addiction Seminar,Sober Support, WRAP, Meditation Classes, Trauma: the Body Keeps Score, Team Building, Sign Language, DBT, CBT, Microsoft Office, Etc. Think of NHM Barryville as an opportunity to not only learn about how addiction affects your childhood to now, but to learn skills to cope with emotional reactivity, re-enter the workforce and explore hobbies and interests.Women are paired with a case manager/CASAC, and Clinical Social Worker. My CASAC was Abbe. She is kind-hearted, nurturing, and had unwavering patience with me as I began my journey. Deena, is a Clinical Social Worker that has been with the agency for over ten years and has profound knowledge on everything from addiction, any DSM-5 diagnosable mental illness and is a phenomenal advocate for her clients. NHM Barryville is a program that has the potential to open your innermost door to freedom, if you allow it to. It is a tough environment but well worth the time I spent there becoming reacquainted with myself. Other benefits of the program include No cell phone (This is a good thing trust me!), Weekend recreation, opportunities to take leadership roles, Living Room with a TV, Use of computers in the computer lab, In-House physician, family style meals at Holidays, visits with family, etc. I can go on about NHM Barryville, however, rehab is what you make of it. I implore anyone who has a desire to stop using drugs and alcohol and reform their life to take a chance and try it out. After Barryville I had the opportunity to live at NHM Poughkeepsie Transitional Living (Sober House). At NHM POK I learned how to transition back into society. I learned about community resources that could help me in Dutchess County. I overcame numerous fears (i.e. re-entering the workforce, dealing with conflict at work, and with peers, choosing healthy relationships, etc.). I learned the importance of how programs such as outpatient, mental health therapy and Alcoholics Anonymous, would be vital to my recovery when I was discharged and living on my own (all of which I attend today). At NHM POK women have the opportunity to see the CASAC Clinical Social Worker (Elisa) once a week, and attend 2 house meetings. Women are required to re-enter the workforce, with the intention to save money to transition to independence. The Clinical Program Director, Erika, is available every single day from 7am to 3pm. These women have been pivotal in my recovery as well. Lorraine is the Vocational Counselor, She teaches us how to be financially responsible and take accountability in how we manage our professional lives. In addition to Erika, Lorraine and Elisa, Clinical Support Staff is available at all times these women provided me with comfort and safety every step of the way.The key takeaway is that I am blessed to have the opportunity to make contact with women across the board at NHM, Inc. who are aspirational role models of grace and dignity as well as dedicated advocates that helped me reach my goals.

I was in the rehab for 9 months and I went to the reintegration house in Poughkeepsie for 15 months. New Hope has had the best impact on my life. I'm still connected with some of the staff. They genuinely care. If your ready to get sober this is theeeee best choice I will always advocate for New Hope when it comes to women in addiction. I recieved support and guidance in the areas much needed at that time.

I just finished a 28 day stay here. This was the first place I finished out of 12 rehabs. It was a good experience from the ride in to the ride out. They set me up with a really nice PHP, and the doctor worked hard at getting me the sublocaid shot when my insurance was denying it. The facility is nice, comfortable beds, personal tv in each room. The staff is great! Always there to talk to when you need someone. Med lines go quick. The food is really good and they feed you enough for 3 people. Shout out to Steve, the cook. His food is really good. I had Elizabeth as a counselor and she was super sweet and actually took the time EVERY TIME she met with me. She never rushed me. Uncle Ron is also really kind and caring. The rest of the staff is very kind and caring as well. I came to TPALS 5 years ago as a broken human being with nothing left inside and nothing left to give. I was very defiant in the beginning of the treatment process because of my experiences in the past and was never comfortable enough to open up to anybody ever. I graduated within that 5 years but I just did the program to get everyone off my back I didn t take in any of the suggestions given or was not willing to take a deeper look into my life so I got my certificate and left. Only to come back 2 years later still broken but this time no substance brought me back. Within coming back I ve had a few lapses but I was SO COMFORTABLE to come back into this place and admit to that and I ve built such solid worthy relationships here. This place gave me my life back. Gave my children their mother back and my family has their daughter back. If it was not for this place I would be dead. I love tpals because they meet you where you are at and work with you to understand the true ins and outs of this disease. I never thought I would be free from the chains of hell with drugs and alcohol and this place helped me free myself. I graduated again but I still come here everyday this place is my home and my safe place. Even if there isn t any staff I sit in the parking lot if I need to regroup mentally. Thank you to each and every one of the staff and counselors ! Yall are the real super heroes because super heroes don t always need to wear capes.

I have been a client of this facility since October 2021 when I came home from inpatient. Pyramid is the foundation to my recovery... I have never felt like I had to stop coming just because I "completed" a program. I actively attend weekly group sessions and biweekly individual sessions with my counselor Jim. He has been a huge advocate for me since taking over my case a year ago. He is honest and patient with me and makes me feel heard. I have been on MAT throughout the entire time and even though it didn't always go my way, they supported me through it all. Dr. Malcuhay has been seeing me for years and makes me feel like she genuinely cares for my well-being. Sacha from Allentown is one of the nurses that has shown me compassion and held me accountable when I was extremely late for an appointment. Alyssa the nurse is prompt and professional, and it's refreshing to actually receive responses to my emails. Kate, Katie, Gage, Towanna have all been wonderful and I look forward to seeing them all. If your insurance is up to date and paid, you will have no issues here. Thank you for helping me find myself again!

GHG Homecare has truly made a difference in my life and my mothers life as well. Our case manager Megan has been such a delight to work with, she is always there doesn't matter the day or time. I am very grateful to her as I was able to join the GHG Homecare team and care for my mother while still earning an income. Megan has made this transition so easy. Thank you Megan for all you do!
