Brookdale was my first rehab I had ever been to a 57 years old. I'm an alcoholic and needed help. God must guided me here because it's one of the best places in the nation. If not the best. I would say probably 95% of all the staff, including The cafeteria, the text the counselors and their Management team are recovered Addicts. Simply, they care and love you there. I miss it, but I only wanna go back as alumni lol. If you have an addiction problem, the best thing you could do to save your life is go to Brookdale.

I truly enjoyed my experience at Serenity Mountain Recovery Center. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was peaceful, welcoming, and incredibly therapeutic. The beautiful mountain views, nature walks, fun outings, and amazing women’s meetings created an environment where healing felt possible. My counseling sessions with Jenna were life-changing. She helped put my mind at ease, introduced me to CBT in a way I could truly apply, and supported my personal growth every step of the way. The groups led by Christina, Ariel, and Jenna on topics like codependency, neuroplasticity, and shadow work were insightful, informative, and helped me better understand myself and my recovery. The house staff, especially Nicole, Tiffany, and Mariah, made me feel safe, supported, and truly at home. Pastor Laurie also had a profound impact on my journey, helping me strengthen my faith through her Christian group and the Recovery Bible she gifted us. Being able to connect Scripture with my recovery was incredibly meaningful. A special thank you to Sandy, who runs the program. She is genuinely one of the kindest, most compassionate, and selfless people I’ve ever met. Her heart for helping others is evident in everything she does. Most importantly, I left Serenity with lifelong friendships, a stronger foundation in recovery, and hope for the future. I have grown tremendously, and I will always be grateful to Serenity Mountain Recovery Center for helping me begin this next chapter of my life.

Pmrc is a great place I just left there 2 weeks ago after doing 35 days. The other reviews pretty much cover everything I’d want to say about Water Gap. Even though I relapsed soon after I completed the PHP/IOP program, I left in a clearly better state than when I came in. I thought my therapist (Bart) & psych (Dr. Gomez) were great advisors and caretakers for me establishing a meds / mental health foundation that has helped me keep afloat as I continue working at my recovery. The group therapists were generally great too, although many I had left while I was there or later. The food is decent & the rooms in the Inn are OK but quite nice at the lodge/houses. I generally liked the techs & nurses, although some were mediocre or worse with their efficacy, attitude, and how they treated the clients. Your experience with the other clients will vary dramatically and there will be lots & lots of drama since there are so many clients there living together. However I did make some closer acquaintances while I was there. They do a good job hosting events and entertaining you but not the best job at keeping clients safe from bad internal actors (aka other unstable & dangerous clients). Be very careful when you initially come in as different case managers, therapists, and psychs may not treat you nice or effectively or even have your best interests in mind (i.e. semi-arbitrarily kick out people / pressure people to stay longer who imo obviously should leave and/or try other treatment options). If you’re looking for inpatient treatment, WGW is a potentially good option to consider but judge what you’re getting into first and while you’re there so no surprises detail your recovery.

Pretty good. I don't think I'd want to do the long term sober house there but the ranch really rocks. The food is unreasonably good and the staff avoids ridiculous treatment plans (for me anyhow). I'm pretty sure some drama was going on there but you know, welcome to Water Gap
David Hudock

to put it simply: I loved my time at the WGW inn during the course of my treatment, the rooms and bedding were comfortable, the food was good, and there was a lot of activities to do at night if we didn't want to use our devices (which is allowed by the way!), and if we didn't want to stay in the inn, we were able to leave and go out to movies, food, etc, which was a big plus in my book! Only downside to it is that they will wake you up at 7am for groups and will keep coming into your room every 5-10 minutes to make sure you are up, and the techs will stand over you while you take meds, but you get used to it.

I completed here in 7 months and that’s probably the earliest completion time that is given, they say 6-9 months but it will take 30 days to discharge you after you’ve been approved. I’m just going to say one thing that may be viewed as negative but it’s really just about your mindset. This facility really doesn’t like to just let you go, even if you’ve spent a full 6-9 months and did the work, stayed out of trouble. I personally see this as them being cautious about keeping us safe rather than a financial thing which everyone will always argue. The staff members who are not working directly on our treatment, like the “techs” which are just called clinical support, they are very well liked. It seems that because they are around us far more than the counselors, they understand us better and you can just know that they care about us a lot because seeing us day in and day out for almost a year, they get to know you, trust is developed. Holidays here are the most extraordinary celebrations any rehab has put together. Not just the winter holidays, every single holiday is celebrated. There were constant events going on, this really created a bonding in the community. Groups are individually chosen, there are many different groups going at the same time and the group changed go by semesters which are ever three months, you sit and pick which groups you would like to be in. I really enjoyed this and some of the groups were fantastic. They throw in things like philosophy, self defense, etc. as if we are taking a college class so it’s not all about addiction treatment. No cell phone and limited phone calls. No cigarettes. You only leave to go to doctor appointments. If you are someone who has tried and failed, tried and failed and need help. PLEASE GIVE NEW HOPE MANOR A SHOT. I will always say that my stay here was the most significant part of my life in the 32 years I’ve been alive. I’m all about self discovery, it’s my purpose in life and NHM gave me so much self discovery. I want to personally thank Matt, who’s genuine care about each of us was made very apparent by always being available to talk and how much he loved to make us laugh. I honestly couldn’t wait to spend my free time after lunch just chatting in the computer room, i know everyone felt that way which is why everyone was always there. Matt takes his job seriously like really seriously and when he took a vacation, the whole place malfunctioned for a couple days but most of all, we couldnt wait til he came back. This is all genuinely true and that just speaks for itself how much of an impact Matt has made on the women.

I just finished 7 months at New Hope Manor and I’m so happy! I am a new person, no longer committing murder to myself via alcohol, opioids and cigarettes. The Angelic guidance of my counselor Amanda who always had the utmost patience and care for me has helped set me free of the self destructive, depressing life I had before I was blessed enough to find New Hope. Amanda gently guided me into having a life I never thought I could achieve. Also Anand, my therapist, helped me so much it’s unreal. He had a way of showing me how to show myself why I self sabotaged and how to fix me. He is an amazing man so gentle , soulful, intuitive, positive and encouraging. Both he and Amanda showed me how and why to forgive myself and how to stop living in shame. I never felt so cared for and understood by anybody like I did from the whole gifted staff at New Hope. Not just for me but for all the other clients living there as well. It amazed me to witness the patience and understanding which was shown even to the most difficult client. The groups (classes) were so well thought out to help bring about a transformation worthy of the hard work they asked. I loved learning all about life, and addiction (it’s never to late) and why and how a sober and peaceful life was mine if I wanted it badly enough. I could never ever thank the amazing staff at New Hope for my New life. Everyone on the staff; whether they were personally assigned to me or not was always there for us which meant so much to me which I’m sure they didn’t realize how much it meant. Even Joe who ran the kitchen showed so much love preparing our meals. The 3 meals a day plus snacks was above and beyond what you’d expect. Just saying, delicious! Joe is an amazing man. I am so grateful for getting to know him and learn why he understood all of us and why he cared so much. I can go on and on with praise for New Hope. I’m not saying they are perfect. Who is? However I can say they do listen to the women there. I figured out early on that when I didn’t agree with their methods there was a good reason for those methods. I know God bought me to New Hope. I was never in rehab before and had no idea what to expect. I did know I couldn’t go on self murdering myself the way I was. I do know I never expected to heal the way I did. I also know I will continue to work on my sobriety outside NH and I know they are with me for the rest of my life. ❤️

Update: I had two more children here with good experiences. The only thing I would say is that I was not able to see a lactation consultant with my last baby. My baby was born Easter weekend, so I didn't even get to see an lacation consultant that Monday of discharge. When I had my first baby, there were three LCs employed there. Now, I think there is only one. I'd highly recommend that management would hire at least a second LC to be there on the weekends. The LC is available by phone after discharge but in person help would have been great! Moses Taylor is the place to have your baby. I had a great stay here when I delivered my baby in January. The staff are nice, and I had a beautiful clean room in the Mom/Baby section. This was my third baby delivered here and if we have anymore, we plan to deliver here again!

I was overjoyed with how amazing my experience was at this hospital. Having my third child there was the best decision. Thank you to everyone that helped me deliver my baby. I cried tears of happiness leaving Moses Taylor Hospital . I had no idea it was possible to have a good experience at a hospital and feel seen and treated kindly all while receiving quality care. I am so thankful and appreciative. Thank you Doctors, Nurses, and all the staff.

This review goes to Janelle Kist. I have seen counselors before, but no one compares to Janelle. From her aura, calm demeanor, and feeling so safe with her, speaks volumes. This isn't a "job" for her. She helps people everyday mentally whether it's with addiction or being your place to go to divulge all your secrets too. She is so personable and non judgemental. If you need a therapist, I highly recommend her. I've only known her for a short time but she has helped me immensely and will make a difference in my life by her positivity, faith in me and giving me life lessons that will only better myself. Pyramid should be blessed to have her because I am. Thank you so much for being here for me 🩷

Redco workers are truly amazing. Very friendly and very open minded. They don't push all kinds of medications and they don't switch them so much like other places. They truly help with keeping your moods stable. Gotta be open and honest for mental health care or its not going to be good. I totally recommend Redco.

So, I Just want to say that Nicole@Redco is the best of all times. The staff is great from the front desk to the back office the only thing missing is a couch in the rooms as an option for the patient to lounge in and unload to gain tools to face the challenges ahead. Thank you Nicole@Redco!!!

Been a patient for a little over a year and it's a pretty good place. I haven't had any problems at all. Even had to go to a different state for a week because of a funeral and received bottles for the entire trip. It's a great place if you have one of the good counselors that actually advocates for their clients.

All the staff were super nice, very professional and made my experience there as quick and comfortable as possible. You don’t often run into people who actually care but everyone who I interacted with definitely did! I would give them 6 stars if I could If you or anyone is thinking about seeking help this is the place to go. Thank you MPM

It's okay. I've been to better clincs. This one has a hard time keeping councilors and things are always chaotic and unorganized. Different rules for different days and also for different people. If your known and friendly with certain people you get treated differently than those who are new or not as outgoing and personable. One day your told that these things that they say must be complied with are required by the state and it's not. And some ptheir own rules for other
