I am very happy that I chose to go to MRP. From the initial assessment to my next step afterwards, I was supported and involved with every single part of this process. Kim was my counselor and she treated me like I was her own son. She helped open up and talk about things that have been such a struggle for me my whole life. The groups were very informative and enjoyable at the same time. As much as we worked on our recovery, we also had a lot of fun while I was there. We went bowling, to the movies and fishing when the weather permitted. I am so thankful for every single staff member who helped me with everything that I needed. I was so nervous on my way there but that feeling disappeared as soon as I stepped in the door. I was a bit sad to leave but I was also very excited to move on to the next chapter of my life. The staff the Nursing the Therapist are all amazing. They changed my life. I went in lost confused on mental health and drug use and came out a totally different person. The Rcs staff KAREN and Charlen go over the top to make your stay comfortable. The Nursing Staff Mitch hands down one of the best men you will ever met. I have never been to a rehab/mental health facility before didnt no what to expect and they made my stay unbelievable. The cleanliness is top notch the beds are comfortable the cleaning staff goes above and behind. Courtney was my therapist and she does good she was a great fit for me. They have 5 therapist so anything you go in there with they definitely have a match for you. Overall a great place I would recommend to anyone!!!! Words can’t describe the care you receive. You’re not treated like your an inconvenience. Your called by your name it actually becomes a friendship. You will definitely know they care about you. So do you want someone who ACTUALLY cares about you and it’s not just one person it everybody in the whole innova group. Or you can go to that place to that all you are is just another body and you get the feeling you don’t want to be there no more than they do. So save all the bullshit and drama. Just make your choice innova because I can guarantee the way you walked in the treatment center.. you are going to walk out with your head held high. And definitely be walking out a total different person than you were walking in. Shameka Wilson 1 month ago My inspiring experience at Kolmac, I was compelled to seek intensive rehab by my specialist. Reason being to do otherwise would mean the surgeons wouldn't operate. My blood scores gave me 18 months. I was in a wheel chair, Could barely walk, Everything hurt. I was a pretty useless human at the time. I chose Kolmac because I couldn't get somewhere in person. Looking back it was the best way for me to get over my skepticism of rehab or therapy. I'm older gen x, sorry its in my nature. It took about 3 weeks before it sunk in. I realized I had no time left. I looked at that 18 months. This is what I have to work with. I control this last 18. I'm going to fake it if I have to. I did at first but, turns out my self is pretty gullible. Kolmac helped me get my mind right. I got better at dealing with bad news. Loved ones started to notice. I started to meditate when I couldn't sleep. I prayed to God. Don't let my last days be the sad part of a country song. Then my scores started to improve. I physically improved. I had more time, which coincided with the gift of a living donor. Then setbacks. A rollercoaster. All the while I had the soft pillow of Kolmac friends to help. Everyone has their monster. My health was mine. There is a special bond that you developed with other recovering alcoholics. I notice we seek each other out at parties. The battle of recovery is brutal and I learned a lot from my fellow Kolmac warriors and waryetts I love and care about them like family which makes it so hard to move on. So back to the grind. Life doesn't always go the way I want. I have the tools to deal with it. I've found peace and happiness in the quiet spaces of my day. I've come a long way in 18 months. But after one group session, I felt completely at ease. I began looking forward to groups, and meeting with my counselor. They keep in touch with you intermittently throughout the program to make sure that you’re adjusting to Kolmac. Safety, and accountability are also of the utmost importance, which I truly appreciated. Overall, Kolmac gave me more tools to add to my toolbelt, while keeping me engaged and challenging me. Since then I truly have had a nice experience, I've been to about 4 different clinics in 2 different states and the best one by far is Pyramid. It was always decent but here over the past recent years after Jaz became higher up and having Josh do all the amazing stuff he has ita seriously just gotten better and easier! I absolutely love the new app and the way that the staff makes u feel like no matter how short or long you've been in recovery they're always a call or email away. My current consular is Amanda and she's been amazing too, hell even the other team members from nursing to the financial team- Anastasia specifically - have been a great experience. I made the decision in 2017 to change my life and get off drugs and join a clinic, a decision I never imagined would of taken me so far at the time I made it it was solely due to the fear and agony of withdrawals, but looking back on it I am so greatful I came to PA and transferred to pyramid health care bc they've done so much for me in some of the most difficult times I've been through since getting off drugs, even this year alone I had so much heart break and loss and acquired so much debt due to my husband chemo radiation therapy, being laid off of my job, having to move, and so much more, but long story short my clinic bill got up to $900 in back due and I had no way to pay that nor my cc and everything else that added up so fast, but one visit with Amanda and anesthesia and my bill was lowered to $0... It was a huge stress reliever and they day I found that out was the same day Josh showed and told me about their new app, so two good news that I really needed! It's COMPLETELY ridiculous and unacceptable given the pandemic happening and the fact that this is a medical office where everyone who works is at higher risk of getting/spreading COVID just by the nature of being a doctor's office.... not to mention that they work in the medical field and should know better. No amount of hand sanitizer or temp readings are going to help if asymptomatic people are contagious and not wearing masks properly. I have no complaints at all about the actual medical treatment I've received here but the front desk staff needs to wear their masks correctly. I live with high-risk people and have not gone anywhere I haven't absolutely HAD to go since last March, but coming into this office is always so insanely stressful knowing people who work here don't take their own safety or the safety of the patients seriously. The fact that I will be having to get tested for COVID at least once in the next two weeks just to be safe on account of the employees present during my appointment today is beyond disappointing. Dr. Tyzac took the time to listen and also went over all her medications from various doctors. Totally impressed. ShellBells 1 year ago My parents and siblings (as well as myself) typically come here for check ups and health. We are usually with Dr. small and he is fantastic! (just in very high demand so it is hard to make an appointment with him- great problem to have!) I recently met with Mark Lamos for the first time. He had a cancellation and was able to get me in. All staff is incredible! But, I especially enjoyed Dr. Lamos. He felt like a friend or family, even after just meeting him once. As a 22 year old girl who just graduated college, life can be chaotic, making it hard to prioritize health! He was so great at making me feel comfy but also addressing anything I genuinely need to work on to be healthier! He is excellent! He will make you smile, feel comfy and happy to be there!
