The Abraxas Leadership Development Program (LDP) is located in South Mountain, PA on the secluded grounds of the state owned, South Mountain Restoration Center. Experience Challenge, Experience Change, Experience Success. Since its inception in 1994, LDP has worked to instill leadership skills, promote accountability and develop competencies in you
I was here in Abraxas shelter for almost 9 months, I was very scared and nervous. I got told all bad things, but if I have to be completely honest, Abraxas has turned into my second family as much trouble as I got in. I love the staff made great bonds with everyone a huge shout out to shelter staff in particularly because they do really try their hardest to help the kids. As much as I m happy that I m not there anymore. I will always miss my second family. And you really do learn a lot of things being in Abraxas.

I was lucky at the time to have been sent to LDP. You can tell the staff care about you and want nothing but the best of you. I was only in one Physical Intervention. I learned that life is more than drugs, alcohol and violence I took part in being able to go on some LEAP trips we went canoeing, camping, shark tooth hunting, we even went to Washington DC. I wish our group had more time and more activities. Delta Unit Rocks!

Anyone looking for somewhere to stay, free of charge I highly recommend this place right friggin here. The beds are memory foam, literally contort to your body, meals are top tier, must have a chief in their or something. The school is well school, the principal stars In the sitcom the office, funny fella. Wouldn t be a review if I didn t mention weeble wobble webble the history teacher that still lives with his mom, great guy, his mom would be proud. Ohh and the staff, what a team of people. Searched in some low places to acquire them guys. Which is another thing I love this place for, way to give the unfortunate a job and a chance at life. Wish I wasn t older then 21 so I could give this place another whirl.

My name is Andrew and I am The Executive Director of Concerted Care Group in Cumberland, Maryland. We have referred several of our patients to TruHealing in Hagerstown and our patients have said great things about this facility. Additionally, I was able to tour TruHealings' PHP addictions program and Residential addictions program personally. Both programs boast spacious buildings that are clean and organized as well as friendly staff who are familiar with recovery and ready to give to those in need. I would highly reccommend this program to anyone struggling with addiction.

Reading the reviews, alot of people has spoken great about this program. I would like to know with those who are new admissions, in the enrolling process that don't have transportation and stay in BaltimoreCity and would like to only attend the Hagerstown location does TruHealingHagerstown supply those people with transportation or they have to find their own way of transportation there? Also, I would like to know about the employment availability in Hagerstown? Once there will I be able to find employment? Do TruHealingHagerstown has connections or information of employers willing to hire those who want to work or there is a amount of time that has to completed without error or replased in the TruHealingHagerstown before you are even able to work?

Ok so at first I gotta admit it was probably the hardest thing I ve done but by the grace of god and all the amazing people at tru healing who helped me through it everyday I did it. Not only did I complete the 30 day program I met some of the most amazing people I have ever met. Starting with the counselors and case managers, my counselor Ms Mo she is tough but the most helpful and supportive person and I needed your toughness and more importantly she knew I needed that as well and for that I thank her and Mrs bam omg she is the sweetest person ever and helped me everytime and always was there when I needed to talk which was a lot and for that thank you so much. Now another person who was so kind and amazing to me and to everyone was Nate he is an amazing person and such an inspiration thank you so much Nate. Also ms Joyce she was so sweet and always made me laugh all the time and Sarah she is the sweetest kindest person thank you ms Sarah for everything your an inspiration.

I'm going to give this place a 4 out of 5 This treatment center helped me tremendously!!!They are absolutely amazing here!New Seasons helped me change my life forever for the better on 3-19-24! And I will forever cherish that!!& also be forever thankful & grateful! I would not be where I am today without them! Since i was 16 years old. Almost 14 years i battled with addiction toopioids(pain killers) and as of 6-11-24,I am, 2 months & 22 days clean! Methadone ONLY! So Thank you New Seasons for everything you guys did for me!I appreciate you guys so much!. Thank you for helping me change my life! There are a few downfalls though..1. is the intake process..Which takes 3-5 hours!!! & it will seem like it's taking forever & a year lol but that is the worst part & once you get through that the hardest part is over!!!I was hoping & praying so hard that the methadone was going to help me & I am beyond thankful that it did & it still does! I dont think about a pill, i dont wish for a pill, i dont want a pill & i dont NEED a pill!!! 2. All the nurses go on break all at once except for 1 so there is only 1 window open for you to dose at so you have to be there before 10:30 or 11am if you want to get in and out quickly. I always made sure i got there at 8am because it wasn't busy at that time.3.They don't take my insurance which is,(Wv medicaid) and that's why I had to be transferred somewhere else. But,I live in Wv anyway so I don't have to travel as far now.4. If they did an update and remodeling to make it feel warm, cozy and welcoming It would make people feel a whole lot more comfortable when you walk in..But, on a great note,Which is the most important to me is,Most of the staff are nice..They do know how to communicate with one another which is a big plus for me!My counselor Merisa was awesome!I was truly blessed with her! I definitely recommend her as a counselor! The dosing nurses are great! I enjoyed making their day just as much as they made mine! Especially Ashley!!! She is the best & will always be my favorite! Most importantly I got a dose of medicine every morning that kept me clean which means I was able to live and see another beautiful day without fighting a battle that I fought with every single day i opened my eyes for almost 14 years! So yes, I would definitely recommendNew Seasons treatment center when YOU or anyone you know are ready to get clean, healthy, happy & change for the better! I also recommend methadone instead of suboxone! It helps me tremendously!

I've been going here since 2019. While they have their flaws, okay, a LOT of flaws, I've really never had any trouble until recently. They've changed their policy a lot. There are ONLY 4 counselors for all the clients who go there. They have new nurses quite often I feel. They will work with you however if you present yourself to their treatment team. No real problem with long lines anymore since COVID began in 2020, once in a while there's a huge wait, especially around holidays in the Summertime like Memorial day and the 4th of July. I do have a decent counselor now and the doctor, Dr. Stephanie, she's VERY kind and friendly and actually listens to you, as well as the main doctor, Dr. Petersen. And there are like 4 nice nurses that are kind and friendly and quick to have your medicine ready for you as soon as your at the dosing window. It's a very clean clinic compared to most I've been in. I do recommend it tho, because everyone has a different experience there.

I got to admit I definitely had pause about coming to this facility because of all the negative reviews. And not knowing what to expect considering that I have never been to rehab or any type of detox program. Im thankful that I made my own decision and ignored all them negative reviews based on the fact that I really wanted the help. It was hard the first couple days, but the staff and other patients kept on pushing me giving me encouragement. I have no favorite nurse they were all great ,but I have to give a shoutout to the nurse Aaron. She was so nurturing, caring and super helpful made me feel like I was in good hands seemed like she genuinely cared during my detox process. (Which was so hard for me) I m blessed to say I successfully completed the program. It was definitely an experience, to say the least!! but I stuck it out!! And I also met some coo people there. So thank you to you all, each and everyone of you all ( staff ) andSHOUTOUT TO THE MOUNTAIN MANOR COMMUNITY!!

I originally went to the 30 day program, but transitioned into Safe Harbor (the 6-9 month program for women & kids) it was definitely tough at some points, and there was a lot of rules. But at the end of the day this place taught me accountability & responsibility, how to be a mother again, how live without drugs and stay sober & how to be happy in recovery. I was there in 2022, and I am now 2 years clean. I got my husband back, and all 3 of my kids back. I'm currently going to college to be a cna, and I NEVER thought I would survive addiction let alone make it this far in life. Ignore the negative reviews, the place was strict at times, and back then I HATED the rules. But now I see that they were literally trying to teach and prepare me for life in the real world.

Most negative reviews seem to be for emergency services (which I ve never used), but I had my scheduled foot surgery here recently and had an excellent experience. The nurses in pre-op and recovery were so kind and accommodating. They made me feel at ease and cared for. The surgical team was great as well! After my surgery, I had a billing issue, and the billing customer service was very helpful. I got my issue fixed immediately. I can t speak for the ER, but I highly recommend the surgical services here!

Look like anywhere you get what you put into a place like this. There were a few staff who really stuck out. Like ca dusty and ca q and Lindsay. They were fair and went out of there way to help you. The head lady Malaya is one tough cookie but is thural and fair. I would happily like to update the fact that she no longer works there. That's a great blessing. My son told his awful therapist exactly what she wanted to hear and committed suicide. This place was great for my son and our family! He experienced success at Hoffman that he hadn t had in several years. I felt the staff was trauma and FASD informed and how that affects brain and behaviors. My son enjoyed the equine therapy and the animal assisted therapy. I was at Hoffman Homes for about a year and a half. When I arrived at Hoffman Homes, I barely knew myself. I didn't have a family that was good to me, so I didn't know what it felt like to have people care about me and listen to me. Not only did the staff at Hoffman Homes do this, they worked with me through my ups and downs and never judged me when I was at rock bottom. The programs at Hoffman Homes taught me positive ways to deal with stress, anxiety, and communication. They taught me that there is good in this world. The staff at Hoffman Homes put their sweat and tears into making sure us kids were okay. They worked overtime, they dealt with us when we were not ourselves, and they shared wisdom that only people with experience can share. The many many connections I made taught me that I was a person worthy of love, kindness, and respect. They taught me what was healthy and not healthy and without them, I would not be here today. There are connections and life skills I use to this day, almost two years after discharge. I could never thank you all for the dedication you put into us and our treatment. I owe you my life.

Hoffman Homes Inc. has grown over the years in terms of programs and opportunities for the youth/young adults that come to Hoffman Homes as part of their path of healing. The community at Hoffman Homes is focused on collaboration, safety, and respect. There are a variety of clinical opportunities at Hoffman Homes from Creative Therapies (Pet, Equine, Art, and Drama) to programs such as the Therapeutic Shelter and Transitional Living Program. These are in addition to a thriving on grounds school, known as Hoffman Academy. As Hoffman Homes continues to expand into working more within the community, the mission of Hoffman Homes is still alive and well.

I found it to be the place that worked for me because I was vulnerable and ready to air my clothes. Was here for more then a year with outpatient and counseling. It's all on you and how bad you want to use this to your advantage. I'd recommend this place to anyone that is serious about changing and needing help.

I was a patient here in 2023.I had a good time there I met amazing staff and patients In there, also a very good therapist, the rules they made were very understandable but yeah one thing I didn t like was having to be in the room and not being able to pace the hall. When we went outside it s ridiculous, I can t even see grass. And the patio is soooo small. But overall I fw it

Last night my daughter was discharged from this facility. From the moment we arrived until late yesterday afternoon this place and its staff not only met our needs but in many ways exceeded our expectations. We arrived on a Saturday night at approximately 9:30 and there was more staff available then I saw the entire time my daughter was in another inpatient hospital. They are a little more strict than I was expecting. There were items I packed for her similar to what the other hospital allowed that were sent back with me so please keep that in mind if you choose treatment here. Those items included thong flip-flops for the shower, Crocs were okay though with no charms, tank tops and shorts and of course a couple of the books were deemed inappropriate. They also didn't allow for us to bring products from home as the hospital supplies everything. This I did not mind. She was there for 12 days and during that time I was called daily and updated on every step of her treatment plan. My thoughts and opinions were listened to and considered and I never felt the churn and burn of let's get them in and out. Her therapist and nurse practitioner as well as the psychiatrist that worked with us were kind, understanding, and informative. Patients are allowed to call twice a day for about 5 minutes. The times are usually after lunch and after dinner however we could call and leave messages or ask for a check-in but we didn't find that necessary as we were in daily contact. They allow 20 minute visits every other day with an option to Zoom which was extremely helpful considering we live an hour and a half away and there were a couple of days we could not make it up. Our main goal was to sort out medications to get her stabilized. That was done and more. She had homework to do for herself, we learned about intellectualizing emotions which is something I never considered, and there was a clear safety plan and well thought out blueprint for actions that would be helpful when agitation and overwhelming feelings and thoughts occur. Of course I read the reviews before we went and I'm grateful to know that oftentimes it's the not so great reviews that get written as opposed to the positive ones so I really wanted to express my gratitude to Brook Lane and their staff. It was a positive experience all around.

The young lady counceller has been very good for my family member... they have been good about scheduling as well. I have had a unanswered phone call or 2 from billing office (somewhere else) as well as some confusion on billing. So if office got billing stuff sorted- Id say theyre a pretty dang good outfit.
