Discovery Point Retreat is an excellent facility. I am the custodian of a friend who is in recovery and went here and saw the way they treat the clients is always very friendly, its like you are a part of their own family, especially the RC from Brooklyn, he was a real savior. I will start this review off by giving some information about myself so you can actually get something out of this review and hopefully it will help someone else get their life back on track. I travel 46 weeks out of the year, sometimes my company has to fly me home for a day so I can make an appearance at my home clinic to stay compliant, so I have been to Methadone Clinics all across the United States as a Guest Dose Patient. I can honestly say New Season is one of the good ones. The lady who works up front is super nice And has been nothing but helpful to me. I believe it is $15 a day to pay for your methadone and If you want to go the Suboxone Route they also offer that as well ( I dont remember the cost per day but it is slightly higher than the methadone ) they only serve the liquid methadone ( cherry ) IF you are guest dosing there is a $25 charge, but you only have to pay that once a year. BUT what makes New Season Treatment a good to great clinic in my eyes, is no matter what person you deal with it is always with respect and they seem to actually care about the people they serve . From the Doctor to the Nurse to the Counselors dont have anything bad to say about any of them. I was in quite a predicament at one point in my recovery And I actually was a full time client with New Season and I ended 2 weeks later having to move to Houston And they never treated me differently or made a fuss about the situation just helped me get the transfer to Houston. I would WAY rather have stayed with New Season than my current Home clinic if I'm being %100 honest... I can also say I went to other clinics in the DFW Area and I had a horrible experience at another clinic in Dallas and New Season is my go to for the Dallas / Fort Worth Area.

Starting this review by saying this is one the best places I've been to. I have never felt loved and cared for by any other place except this one. Manal and maddie are incredible people and have helped me so much they will help you. Ali gage and Elizabeth are amazing directors and therapists too. Although I hated this place in the beginning , I learned its not as bad as I thought. Its so much better compared to erc or children's , if you need help with an eating disorder definitely come here.

This is a great facility and program. The staff is amazing! I took off one star because the billing department at corporate is incompetent. Make sure you are well educated on your insurance coverage and know the financial process at the center ahead of time to avoid stress and frustration.

I went here on a Monday to take a friend of mine to her appointment, and it was extremely busy. The wait was definitely very long, but I will say the receptionists were very nice, sweet, and professional. Anytime we asked about the wait, they were willing to give us an update, which I appreciated. I also want to give a special shoutout to the Black woman with the braids working at the front. I witnessed a client give her the worst attitude simply because she explained that the next available appointments were pretty far out. The way that woman was treating her was completely unnecessary. I really commend the women working up there because they are doing their jobs and dealing with a lot of people throughout the day. Some clients can have the nastiest attitudes toward staff who are simply trying to do their jobs and help them. The wait may have been long, but I definitely think the staff deserves recognition for remaining patient, professional, and respectful despite how some customers treated them.

The Magdalene House is THE place to go for women who struggle with alcoholism and want to move into recovery. Their program is unmatched - even up against the extremely expensive $50k++ ‘rehabs’. If you want to stop drinking, stay stopped, move into recovery and be the person that your higher power would have you be, this is the one and only place you should go. I couldn’t recommend Origins more, I first attended their IOP program, then their residential program in south padre and lastly their Dallas sober living. I’m writing this today a year and a half sober and going strong. Origins has literally saved my life in more ways than one.

Please ignore my previous post it wasn't complete. This experience at Methodist Richardson out patient Service. 8/20/25 I was scheduled for surgery and this is AMAZING!!!! From my Doctor Stone who Prayed for us before surgery. Starting in Triage. Austin and the female I can't remember her name. These two individuals are the best. Very curtious,respectful, and good at what they do. It's no doubt they are doing what they love. Dr. Patel and Tonya were the best they were very thorough and professional. Great at what they do. After the surgery woke up to another Wonderful experience. Mark,Paulina and everyone in recovery. WOW!! This Hospital has to be so proud of this staff,if ever staff member doesn't operate like this one. I mean everyone!! They should be training others. This should be how every patient should be treated when Lyn call me the next day Wonderful Customer Service and positive attitude. It was late in the day time to go home and was still in a great mood and you heard nothing buy good nature and a caring attitude like it was 9am and not 6pm. Wow!! Hats off to them all. God sent. Dr. Stone is the best a Doctor that openly prays for himself,Staff and the patient. SPECIAL!! IF anyone that reads this one Doctor that has done this you before. Please reply you or anyone has had an experience like this with another Doctors. I have some health issues and many surgeries over the past few years with Wonderful Doctors and not one has prayed with me before surgery.
