I've been coming here a while now and I can honestly say this program saved my life and gave me back my life and if you've ever been there addiction changes you Thanks to all the help and support from the staff here FCCR shout out to Austin and Caitlin thanks for all your help. Bottom line I've been clean 6 years now I wanted for myself it was hard and I fought every day at first but it was time to leave the party and I did it I couldn't have done it without FCCR God bless you all ...... And everyone be nice to the staff they work hard and drug addicts as a group are not the easiest of people to deal with

My opthamology tech was very knowledgeable and helpful. She advised me on future appointments and when I'm doing upgrade. She went over and beyond for me. I really enjoyed the appointments at the VA Clinic just don't mind them at all. Thankful they are there for me. Her name is Denise so shout out girl I think you're awesome. Thanks for fixing my right hearing aid I'll try not to break it again LOL

I go to VA 2 Clinic. The staff has always been exceptionally nice and helpful. And the care has been as good as I've received in both the Military system and Civilian. I'd highly recommend this team.

I wanted to document my own experience here. I came here before in a moment where I did not feel safe being alone and suicidal. I have dealt with severe depression for a decade and PTSD. They figured that out. Never been screened for ptsd despite already seeking mental treatment elsewhere. This place saved my life. I had really wanted to get better for so long and I had held on for as long as I could. Nothing had truly helped. It was inpatient for 10 days, and then with the PHP program with the AMAZING ladies over there! In my own experience the only negative was the way some of the nurses (inpatient) talked down to patients at times. A really special shout-out to a nurse named April! (Inpatient) She went above and beyond to take care of me while I got extremely sick taking new meds. It truly was the worst I'd ever been sick and she took care of me like I was her own child. Having lost my own mother, she had no clue how much it really meant to me

I have been to snowden 8 times in one year, fair to say I know majority of the staff and security. Some of the staff dont care about their job and it'll show. For context I go to the adolescent unit. Ms. Tara, Tiffany, Jen, Debbi, Summer, and the security guard Kam (I call him milkdud, lol) are thr only people who i can VERY much tell care about the patients. They truly made my stays at snowden so much better and made me see the light at the end of the tunnel. Kam the security guard even got me to stop self harming because of his words of motivation. Dr. Alli & Becca are also the sweetest people ever, they truly care about their job. As many times as I have been go snowden, they never once gave up on me. -Ellie

Look, no hospital is perfect. But after three nightmarish weeks dealing with the deadly hospital system in Mississippi, we moved my elderly parents to Virginia for better care. Daddy had a GI bleed unexpectedly shortly after we arrived, and we had a great experience at MW ER and on floor two. Momma and daddy were stunned that they could enter an ER and go from intake to operated on and fixed in less than 24 hours. Nurse Judith was a standout, and so were all the others we had in the unit. Care manager Shaka helped us with all needs, too, even the sillier ones. The residents took time to answer all our questions and never rushed us. I’ve been attending MWH with ill family for two decades now, and this was a smooth and efficient, but kind experience. Best we’ve had. MW just continues to get better and better. We are grateful for the care we got at MW.

My experience at New Life Christian Retreat Center was truly memorable. The location is stunning, exuding peace and tranquility. The staff members are warm, helpful, and accommodating without being intrusive. The accommodations are cozy, and spacious. The retreat center has on-property access to the North Anna River and scenic forest trails. I was there for a women's retreat, but would suggest this site for a wedding, family reunion, or just a place to unplug and relax. If you want to get out for a daytrip, the area has plenty of historical attractions, plus the retreat center is not far from Ashland Berry Farm, Lake Anna State Park, and Kings Dominion. My group stayed on the property -- you'll understand why when you see it. Personally, I left feeling rejuvenated and uplifted after my stay at New Life Christian Retreat Center. I highly recommend this place.

They will take away any and all ideas or stigmas you may have had about a rehab facility. Everyone employed there is truly engaged to make your stay wonderful and to help you become a better version of yourself. This place saved my life. Plain and simple. I just left in late October 2025. And just like any AA / NA meeting, rehab requires action and work. RCA might not be a Malibu Passages (which rehab isn’t suppose to be some fantasy, sleep and get massages all day land) but they helped me crack the code in how not to give up, bc I wanted to and I was tired. But the experience I had, leaning into it and embracing it? Yeah, I got so much from this place. Family. Friends. Knowing I’m not alone. It’s huge. So thank you RCA. And a massive shoutout to Pastor Ken. I could not have asked for a better therapist who just knew how to help me, I can’t explain it. Bridget, my Case Manager has a bigger heart than I thought was possible to have; Brittany, Marcus and Tammy (3 of the staff whom I was really counting on being there, and they were! I owe them so much) And Ms. Sherry T….Ms. Sherry is a damn godsend to the patients. One of the greatest human beings I’ve ever met and will ever know. ❤️❤️ And Tai, (I think that’s how you spell her name) in the cafeteria. She defines what pure joy and just happiness is when you think it’s all but lost. Yeah, this place was exactly what I needed and I’m so grateful.

My experience there was nothing short of life-changing. The staff and clinicians gave me the tools I needed to come back home and face my problems head-on. I learned how to communicate better in my relationships and handle challenges in a healthy way. The environment was supportive, understanding, and full of people who genuinely care about your well-being. As a firefighter, it’s hard to ask for help — but coming to the Center of Excellence was the best decision I’ve ever made. I left with hope, strength, and a new perspective on life. I've been going here for 6months and before that I was at the VA. There's a few differences between them both but most of all I can tell the Care. I have had 2 Counselors which is understandable considering the work load they have. Since the begining I have been happy and impressed how easy they made my transferring. I started just where I left off at the VA.The only thing I don't agree with or understand is when getting an increase u have to pick up for 3days before getting ur tak homes. I can understand this policy when u a starting out. But it doesn't make much sense after that. I can also say when there was a problem with my pick up (ther Mistake) my councler fixed and had all my bottles in 30mins. All I can say is If u work the program it works. Thank you

I love my counselor here at Pinnacle treatment center FCCR Radford. I feely counselor Lauren is amazing she's does everything she can possibly do for. Shes supplies me with wonderful advice, wonderful resources and everything else a counselor should do. My panic attacks got to such a bad point that she gave me her cell phone number in case I need to message or call when I need her. FCCR RADFORD SAVED MY LIFE!!!

This is the only MAT program clinicnive ever been to but they have been amazing. If you are serious about your recovery they most definitely are going to help you. I've had a couple friends go to other clinics and from what was said FCCR is more strict and that's so important. Especially if you are serious about your recovery and do really want to better yourself and your life. The office staff is amazing there. The nurses are wonderful. I've had 3 different counselors due to 2 of them moving on to better their lives, but every counselor I have had has been wonderful. Very helpful. Easy to talk to. Thank you FCCR for being there and helping me better myself and my life. "It works if you work it"
