From the greeting at the front desk through the prep and procedure, to the discharge, everyone was superb in their professionalism. I really want to notice the nurses in the operating room. They gave me great comfort about what was going to happen. Also the anesthesiologist was very good in placing calm for my nervousness. Then the is Dr. Smith who I trust to the utmost. Inside the medical center was great. there was a rep that called a few days before the appointment to 'register' me. They asked the SAME exact questions that the registration office did onsite. This is a waste of resources and contractor expenses for HCA with remote workers to boot. Remove the calls prior and just have the registration desk handle it as the information that was provided to the on the phone remote contractor DID NOT make it to the hospital system. The registration worker onsite confirmed this happens "ALL THE TIME". Nothing transfers from the random call we get in advance (is PII being shared outside HCA) to the hospital system.

Nursing staff for the most part was okay they were cheerful and informative and showed compassion while treating my 96 year old mother. I must say that I was highly impressed by security. I was treated with the utmost respect by this one guard who said his name was Austin I think his badge said something else nevertheless from the time of him giving me my visitation badge to later stopping by our room as he walked by asking if I needed anything further he offered me and my mother blankets asked if he could get me something to drink provided me with some laughter made me feel at ease. Thank you Mary Washington for having people like him and the wonderful nursing staff employed.

Pamela and sheila were awesome they made me feel like they really cared and you can literally see how much they enjoy being a nurse my was on 5 north what awesome north not to mention Ms Veronica the head nurse was awesome as well she is very respectful I think any patient that goes to 5 north is in good hands while she's in charge.

This place is not like any other place, they actually listen to you and are not out for your money! Mr. Hawkins will work with you if you have financial or attendance problems. These sessions consist of small, personal, relaxed environment sessions. At first I was kinda skeptical because I’ve been to others and to be honest, just going through the other clinics sessions “made” me wanna drink afterward. Not this place, it was just all good vibes. You’ll definitely enjoy your group sessions (I know that’s weird to say about a therapy center). I would 100% recommend.
