I have had breast cancer for four years and had a really long hard journey. I live in another city so I was mostly treated there, but I chose Spotsylvania to have my reconstructive surgeries. What a wonderful experience I have had! Every nurse and doctor have been so attentive and on top of my care. My treatments have caused me to be a high maintenance patient - it’s difficult to find veins on me for IVs after chemo because my veins are always collapsing. They can’t do anything on my right side because of lymph nodes. I’m anemic and have heart problem and I get insanely nauseous on anesthesia. But they listened when I told them what protocols worked for me and were 100% on it. I never had to ask for anything - they were ahead of my pain and nausea and I woke up so comfortable and feeling amazing. They had to work hard during my surgery to keep me asleep because my vein kept collapsing on them but they managed it beautifully. The anesthesia team and surgical nurses were just amazing. The care and attention is above and beyond and I couldn’t be more grateful . I wish I could remember everyone’s names in order to thank them individually . But you know who you are - I’m the high maintenance red head who had a breast reconstruction this Friday. Thank you all very much. Yalll are a top shelf team and I could not have been cared to better. Thank you all!

I've seen about 5 specialists about this subject, and Stephanie was THE best that I have talked to about substance abuse. She didn't judge (which in turn made me more honest), she was very good at explaining everything in a way us non-docs can understand. She made it very easy to make my final decision about the shot instead of the strips to finally be done with the physical dependency! I highly suggest seeing her if you are struggling with opiate dependacy.

My opthamology tech was very knowledgeable and helpful. She advised me on future appointments and when I'm doing upgrade. She went over and beyond for me. I spent eight long days at Mary Washington healing from a brutal domestic violence incident. The care and patience and kindness I received from every staff member on Four South was unmatched by any stay I’ve had in my life. I’m sixty one and had many stays from the doctors to the sweet ladies that kept my room spotless to the accommodating kitchen staff it was pleasant. They didn’t let me suffer in pain. The food was shockingly good. I felt like royalty. The care I was given had as much to do with my healing as the medicine I was given. I’m off to a rehabilitation center now and will miss them.
If I could give them ten stars I would give them ten stars. I’m giving them ten stars in my heart.

We went to Emergency room in the middle of the night and found out my girlfriend needed surgery.
As you can imagine she was nervous but she had the best care!!! Everyone was amazing to put her at ease but especially Maria from same day surgery aftercare. Maria treated her so well from just talking to her to making her little peanut butter sandwiches to eat.

This place is not like any other place, they actually listen to you and are not out for your money! Mr. Hawkins will work with you if you have financial or attendance problems. These sessions consist of small, personal, relaxed environment sessions. At first I was kinda skeptical because I’ve been to others and to be honest, just going through the other clinics sessions “made” me wanna drink afterward. Not this place, it was just all good vibes. You’ll definitely enjoy your group sessions (I know that’s weird to say about a therapy center). I would 100% recommend.

My experience at New Life Christian Retreat Center was truly memorable. The location is stunning, exuding peace and tranquility. The staff members are warm, helpful, and accommodating without being intrusive. The accommodations are cozy, and spacious. The retreat center has on-property access to the North Anna River and scenic forest trails. I was there for a women's retreat, but would suggest this site for a wedding, family reunion, or just a place to unplug and relax. If you want to get out for a daytrip, the area has plenty of historical attractions, plus the retreat center is not far from Ashland Berry Farm, Lake Anna State Park, and Kings Dominion. My group stayed on the property -- you'll understand why when you see it. Personally, I left feeling rejuvenated and uplifted after my stay at New Life Christian Retreat Center. I highly recommend this place.

I've been going here for 6months and before that I was at the VA. There's a few differences between them both but most of all I can tell the Care. I have had 2 Counselors which is understandable considering the work load they have. Since the begining I have been happy and impressed how easy they made my transferring. I started just where I left off at the VA.The only thing I don't agree with or understand is when getting an increase u have to pick up for 3days before getting ur tak homes. I can understand this policy when u a starting out. But it doesn't make much sense after that. I can also say when there was a problem with my pick up (ther Mistake) my councler fixed and had all my bottles in 30mins. All I can say is If u work the program it works. Thank you

I love my counselor here at Pinnacle treatment center FCCR Radford. I feely counselor Lauren is amazing she's does everything she can possibly do for. Shes supplies me with wonderful advice, wonderful resources and everything else a counselor should do. My panic attacks got to such a bad point that she gave me her cell phone number in case I need to message or call when I need her. FCCR RADFORD SAVED MY LIFE!!!

This is the only MAT program clinicnive ever been to but they have been amazing. If you are serious about your recovery they most definitely are going to help you. I've had a couple friends go to other clinics and from what was said FCCR is more strict and that's so important. Especially if you are serious about your recovery and do really want to better yourself and your life. The office staff is amazing there. The nurses are wonderful. I've had 3 different counselors due to 2 of them moving on to better their lives, but every counselor I have had has been wonderful. Very helpful. Easy to talk to. Thank you FCCR for being there and helping me better myself and my life. "It works if you work it"
