Definitely lacks professionalism. I usually do get my meds though because I don’t leave messages on the refill line. I leave a message at the office. They changed psychos on me and I’m not sure about this one yet. I think the problem begins way up on the ladder. And that is the main problem. There’s no one capable to begin fixing the problems. I’m pretty sure it’s run by the state somehow and that right there is the root of ALL the problems. What a shock. Right?

I’ve seen a few therapist over the years and I’ve gotta say truly Spencer James is one of the best if not the best therapist in the world he has really been helping improve myself and my overall happiness with day to day activities and all of my anger issues he is seriously the real deal!! Thank you so much man I swear you deserve a raise after hearing my crazy spews sometimes lmao but thank for always being very active and helpful and thank you for calling me if I don’t make it to an appointment and staying on me. I know this is his job but it truly feels like he cares and even though my ADHD brain is literally everywhere all the time you always stay on track and keep up with whatever I’m saying even when I’m bouncing around from one topic to the next so thank you Prestera for employing such an amazing therapist

If you want random appointments thrown at you two days in advance with no option to reschedule and like waiting around for an hour to talk to three different people and take a drug test before they will give you your medications then this is the place to go. Hope you like being late for work all the time. Also, hope you enjoy your Dr being hours late to your appointments, leaving you staring at a video call waiting for them to join the whole time. Only redeeming quality is how nice the people in the pharmacy are. That is it.

Within the past year I have received VA benefits for a service related disability. I began going to the Beckley VA Hospital soon afterwards.
Before receiving my benefits I had always used private insurance and seen private Doctors with mixed results and experiences.
I also have friends and relatives that are veterans living in other states that have had bad experiences with VA clinics and Hospitals where they live.
I am writing this review from my heart to let as many people as I can to know the Hospital staff here are the best people I have ever dealt with when it comes to healthcare. I’ve never had a bad experience. The Nurses, Doctors, Staff personnel and all other employees are hands-down the absolute best I’ve ever had to deal with. Whenever I call or visit them I know I’m going to be given the absolute best care I can get anywhere!

I love Summit/Pinnacle. It has definitely saved my life. I like it so much better than Tadiso. The people are really friendly and I've had a much better experience overall. ❤️🔐😉❤️ I wish there was a closer location to McKeesport though. A clinic there would help so many more people.

SROs truly gave me a safe friendly environment to grow in my recovery.. it's a drug free environment with friendly management and staff.. that holds me accountable with random drug screens which Im happy to take. Its giving me back my life adulting..Not enough privacy and too much freedom in my early recovery didn't work well with me in my past.. I am blessed to live here along side many other recovering addicts.. I have also been blessed to see the parking lots fill up with cars and friends move back to their home towns or new apartments.. The complaints about the program from family could potentially be from their master manipulator residents who are looking for a way to justify leaving. I know, I was one accept everyone was done listening by the time i went. The complaints from Alumni,,, Everything changes and at 2:30 a.m., they are asleep, leave them alone. The building isn't supposed to be comfortable. It's not the Hampton. It's a starting point for Recovery. It's a place if personal discovery, acceptance and overcoming our self-induced crises with like minded people, staffed by those who did it already. It's not for everyone, but it could be, if you want it. There will never be a perfect rehab. It's addiction treatment. The help is there, again, if you want it and will get up everyday and get it.

I’d call this place a joke, but that’d be an insult to jokes everywhere. This is a place for troubled teens right? So why did my daughter get kicked out after two and a half days even though she was not violent and didn’t make threats? Seems like they can’t handle troubled teens at all. By the way, they DID charge me for the full program, even though she was there less than three days. Just don’t even bother. I was told all they did was play with slime anyway. Waste of time and money. Just a way for your troubled teen to meet even more troubled teens.

The youth program is a waste of time. The staff is very negative and condescending, especially the counselor (Liz). Instead of being positive or caring, they are negative, ridiculing and inconsistent. They point out faults as often as they take breaths. These kids are there for a reason. They need skills and encouragement that they CAN succeed. This staff is NOT helpful.

The staff where very understanding and alot of people dont understand they cant break there rules or they get fired they are they to watch over u and make sure your not harming yourself or somone else. They are not therapist. So they are not there to listen to your problems. I was there for a month straight and watched how they treated people. And no if you sign yourself in there is certain criteria u have to meet before u go home. And if said person was to read the paperwork they would be aware of that. You get fed, showers,clothes and help. So to leave bad reviews when half of the people came from worse situations if un needed

I went to turning point in 2017 and I knew nothing about how to live a "normal" life. I had no idea how to do anything clean. Turning point taught me so much I still use today. The staff was amazing and helped me through early recovery and learning life skills I didn't know. I was so broken when I got to turning point but they uplifted me when I didn't want to continue. I'm still clean today and I have no doubt that turning point has a lot to do with that. I would recommend turning point to anyone

I attended the Woman with children program at turning point in 2015, I have since been able to stay clean coming up on 6 years and have since had my child full time. This place changed my life for the better. They slowly integrated me back into the community, teaching me life skills and how to be a woman! The rules may be a little strict, but if you truly want to better yourself, these rules are in place for that. Behavior modification, learning how to cook and clean, and counseling for my addiction. I wouldn't be the person I am today if it wasn't for this program.

I have made many attempts to apply for a couple of programs, such as first time home buyers as well as rental assistance with absolutely No assistance at all. I have No faith in this program, I've witnessed nothing but unprofessionalism & lack of respect for ones who are in need. Very disturbing that the Govt funds this type of thing. I have to admit that I came here with a very bad attitude and low expectations because I didn't want to be here. Nevertheless, they were so good and kind to me that they gained my trust and appreciation. Thanks to them I got sober, and I won my family and friends back. Brian's Safehouse saved my life, hands down. I read a review stating that the treatment was ineffective, that was not my experience at all. Going to BSH is the most important decision I've ever made. Everything I lost in my addiction has been restored in just a few short years. I'm so thankful for the dedicated and attentive staff at BSH, who made me feel so welcome and loved from the day I arrived on campus. I tried several 30-day treatment programs in my home state of NC, but they did not work for me. I needed more help. The year long program, as hard as it was to commit to at the time, was just what I needed. A life mired in addiction is a hopeless existence if you're not willing to do anything about it. The outcomes are three as I see it: jail, death, or recovery. The decision is simple as look back on it. BSH can change the trajectory of your life, it did mine!

My son has been sober now for 8 years. Brian’s Safehouse changed him from a drug fiend to a tax-paying, loving man with a wonderful family. He learned the skills necessary to overcome his addiction and to maintain his sobriety. They have a great recovery community for support, social interaction, and, if desired, spiritual support.

Allied Addiction Recovery has been one of the best desicions I have made for my recovery! The meetings that I attend through the week help a lot! Cassandra, the therapist whom runs group is just amazing at what she does! She genuinely cares, and goes above and beyond to help each individual reach their goals and full potential! She has helped me personally through a lot of hard times!
The atmosphere is light and positive. However for some the group classes could possibly be a bit overwhelming at first. I am required to do 3hr groups 3 times a week. It just takes a little bit of motivation and determination! Everyone is different and need different things to successfully recover from addiction. However these lengthy classes/groups are what helps me the most.
