I’ve seen a few therapist over the years and I’ve gotta say truly Spencer James is one of the best if not the best therapist in the world he has really been helping improve myself and my overall happiness with day to day activities and all of my anger issues he is seriously the real deal!! Thank you so much man I swear you deserve a raise after hearing my crazy spews sometimes lmao but thank for always being very active and helpful and thank you for calling me if I don’t make it to an appointment and staying on me. I know this is his job but it truly feels like he cares and even though my ADHD brain is literally everywhere all the time you always stay on track and keep up with whatever I’m saying even when I’m bouncing around from one topic to the next so thank you Prestera for employing such an amazing therapist

I was researching what services were offered at the local office. I was unaware that the Belington location was still in operation.

The complaints about the program from family could potentially be from their master manipulator residents who are looking for a way to justify leaving. I know, I was one accept everyone was done listening by the time i went. The complaints from Alumni,,, Everything changes and at 2:30 a.m., they are asleep, leave them alone. The building isn't supposed to be comfortable. It's not the Hampton. It's a starting point for Recovery. It's a place if personal discovery, acceptance and overcoming our self-induced crises with like minded people, staffed by those who did it already. It's not for everyone, but it could be, if you want it. There will never be a perfect rehab. It's addiction treatment. The help is there, again, if you want it and will get up everyday and get it.

I may have not went through this program but I am friends with everyone that is going through right now. This is where my AA home group is "STW" every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 6 pm. These meetings have helped me grow in my recovery and has helped me find a lot of good friends.

I went to Parkersburg and graduated in February 2019 n I have remained sober. It will be 5 years in April. I would like to thank Robert Diddle, Jimbob dalton and Travis stringer. I appreciate the amount of love and support they gave us!!

Great place they care about your recovery as much as you do. The staff is caring, understanding, and makes you feel like your with family and not looking down or judging you. It's just an all around great rehab and I have them to thank for my recovery and saving my life!!!

This is the best place ever. They actually want to succeed and they love you. Kinda wish I could work there.

My Boyfriend is receiving out Patient rehab and they recently took in my minor son for some issues with no hesitation. Pointed me in all the right directions I needed for both of my guys.

Staff work very hard to help their clients, very good food, comfortable bed, TVS in all the rooms, they attend to all my needs on time, this is a good place if you need actual help.

Medical detox is something I highly recommend. I was not uncomfortable for one minute once it began and the food is AWESOME. Bring your own soda and cigarettes because you can smoke outside.

This facility has truly helped alot of people in the area and alot of people feel they can always return if they need some help getting back on track whether it be detox or long term . Clients look up to Ms Blessing for the kindness she shows alot of people when they are at their rock bottom. We truly believe you can always go anywhere you want to go with the right mindset and tools you just have to have someone behind you to get started in that direction. Always lots of sweets and home cooked food

I can’t thank Santon Villa I was so broken when I got there. The staff was so kind and caring and helped me learn how to live again. I have to admit that I came here with a very bad attitude and low expectations because I didn't want to be here. Nevertheless, they were so good and kind to me that they gained my trust and appreciation. Thanks to them I got sober, and I won my family and friends back. I dont personally go here but my girlfriend does, and she had been struggling with addiction and depression for a long long time. Then she found out about allied addiction recovery and started going, after a few weeks I saw a completely different person coming home and talking to me, she tells me how good her meetings are and how great a help and personal impact her therapist Cassandra has been on her. I just wanted to let anyone who is struggling to know that this place exists and DOES help. And id also like to put a personal thank you here to Cassandra for giving back my girlfriend! Thank you Cassandra!

Allied Addiction Recovery has been one of the best desicions I have made for my recovery! The meetings that I attend through the week help a lot! Cassandra, the therapist whom runs group is just amazing at what she does! She genuinely cares, and goes above and beyond to help each individual reach their goals and full potential! She has helped me personally through a lot of hard times! The atmosphere is light and positive. However for some the group classes could possibly be a bit overwhelming at first. I am required to do 3hr groups 3 times a week. It just takes a little bit of motivation and determination! Everyone is different and need different things to successfully recover from addiction. However these lengthy classes/groups are what helps me the most.

30+ years ago, this place gave me a life!

The youth program is a waste of time. The staff is very negative and condescending, especially the counselor (Liz). Instead of being positive or caring, they are negative, ridiculing and inconsistent. They point out faults as often as they take breaths. These kids are there for a reason. They need skills and encouragement that they CAN succeed. This staff is NOT helpful.

Miss Jenna is awesome! She is so kind, smart and patient. Your first day might seem overwhelming, but don’t give up. It is so worth it! Be open minded and give yourself grace. You’ve got this! You can do it!

Excellent place that deals with the neediest people, who are in an emotional hole which is difficult to leave, but the counselors of this center can help you.

I came here all the way from New York, as I’m originally from Youngstown and needed to get away from my surroundings for a bit and have a hard reset. Left treatment today and had a really nice experience here. The staff is super friendly and nice and have a lot of experience with addiction and treatment. As well, the counselors were all great and the groups were helpful. Don’t come here if you expect to go on vacation or are simply in need of housing and are looking for a day spa that has a medical cabinet. Groups and H & I are a collective seven hours a day (morning, break, afternoon, break, evening) and attendance is expected. All things said, made some friends, got about as sober as anyone could get in a month, and learned that I’m still apparently really very terrible at basketball. Would recommend. Lastly - All my brothers.

The Staff at First Step Recovery are phenomenal. I've been in First Steps programs since Oct. Of 2024, and at each level of care I've had the best treatment from staff. I was in patient from detox to phase 1, and from there to IOP and beyond. And at each level I've come to care for the staff more and more, because they cared. And I'm stronger in my recovery more and more every day because of them.

Be involved in your treatment. Tell them what you want and what you expect. Ask questions and make sure you understand the answers.

MRI Team of technicians are a great and empathetic bunch of ladies. Also any other staff I have spoken with, has shown me nothing but the utmost respect.

I had a colonoscopy here recently. All the nurses and doctors were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. They made me feel at ease and safe. The procedure was done quickly and efficiently. Zero wait time checking in. They made me sure I knew what was happening and what the next steps were.

Newness Of Life helped me get back on the right path of life and for that I am so grateful for this program
