We have been going here for a year now and love it. All 4 of my children 11, 6, 4 and newborn) see Dr. Tran and she has been wonderful and listens to your concerns. We also love seeing PA Stillwell and Dr. Henry. They both are also great and thorough! I love that this place offers dental and behavioral therapy as well. We haven't used those services but it's nice to know I can go to them for it all in one place. Setting up appointments is real easy. I just send a text message and they get back to me ASAP. I'm usually able to have my kids be seen that very day.

Best of the best…the facilities and staff are top notch, the food and all the different dietary accommodations are excellent, they provide almost daily opportunities for outings including, but not limited to, trips to the local YMCA, equine therapy, outdoor excursions, plus a myriad of day trips like the museum and cinema. Medmark most definitely saved my life. When the doctor decided he wasn't giving me my pain medicine any longer because he didn't want to get in trouble (this was 2019) and I didn't know what to do since I have chronic pain from several severe bone breaks. So I called medmark and on my first day of treatment I wasn't worried anymore. I've been going here for over 5 years almost 6 now and they have never made me feel bad for anything they have been nothing but caring and supportive. I really thlnk they have saved my life and lots of other lives as well.

These people saved me! From the doctors, nurses, and counselors. To even the office manager and receptionist. These people really care! They don’t treat you like less of a person because of your “situation” they are respectful and professional. Honestly, if more treatment centers would follow the lead of this one. I probably would have gotten help 10 years ago. If you are 110 percent serious about getting help. And you choose to go the maintenance route. This is the place! I never would have made it if the staff wasn’t as supportive as they are. So thank you to everyone there! They listened to me when absolutely no body else would! They didn’t judge me when absolutely everyone else did! they were kind to me, when no one else was! And they had faith in me, when even I had no faith in myself!

I was traveling through the area when a sudden (and very painful) medical issue came up. I’m a veteran but hadn’t yet signed up for VA care, so I wasn’t sure what to expect when I walked into the ER—honestly, my expectations were low. But wow, was I surprised.
From check-in to triage to treatment, the entire experience was outstanding. Everyone I interacted with was kind, professional, and efficient. I was ambulatory (just in a lot of pain) and they treated me very promptly. The doctor quickly diagnosed the issue, got me into radiology, and I had answers fast. I was on my way with relief and a plan.
Truly blown away by the level of service and compassion. Thank you to the entire staff for taking such great care of veterans. I hope someone in leadership sees this…they all deserve recognition (and a raise!).

Can’t say that I have ever had a pleasurable experience in an emergency room but Beckley VA Medical Center came quite close. HUGE shoutout to Dr. Pisupati, Debbie Hull, and all of the midnight staff who went above and beyond last night for Kenny. I can’t say enough about their professionalism, compassion, and kindness. Dr. even took the time to track me down trying to nap in the truck to make sure I understood everything they had ruled out. MUCH LOVE FOR THESE FOLKS, THANK YOU!!!! This subject can be one that either rips loved ones apart or brings them closer together. As I hope for everyone and anyone that people open there minds and hearts up to those who ask for help. We are not bad people just as cancer is a disease so is addiction! I was never warned by my doctor that the medication he was given me would turn my life upside down and when it did my doctor cut me loose. Coming from a family with addiction problems I then knew I had to get help. This treatment center is great compared to others! They help you with EVERYTHING from your addiction to your transportation needs. Be prepared for friends and family to turn their back on you because it will happen. Narrow minded people think this isn’t getting help it’s replacing on addiction with another. If that’s the case then almost everyone in the world are addicts. If you get the flu and take medication for it same thing, you get poison ivy you get medicine for it same thing. Yes I know it’s not 100% exact but hopefully some of you get my point here! Please stop knocking us down when we are doing everything we can to fix the problem. I promise you if you take treatment seriously and friends and family support you and even get involved in your treatment you will find yourself again. You will be a better, stronger and caring person!!!!

This clinic has their duck's in a row and some of the friendliest and most helpful ppl I've ever met in my lifetime. I wanted to use this review to quickly show my appreciation for the Neurology clinic, more specifically Nurse Falyn K. She went above and beyond to help me out. To be honest, I mostly expected to be blown off by my request to the clinic. Instead, Nurse Falyn talked with me to ensure that they understood my request and the requirements I needed. I'm positive that this was more work than what is required of her, so it is very appreciated. Our interactions were short overall, but I can tell that she is the best kind of nurse to have as a patient (kind, informative, advocating).
As for the rest of the hospital; I've only had good experiences too. Doctors and staff have always treated me well. I'm glad to be colocated with and receive care from this VA facility.

I was a resident there whenever I was a teenager it helped me a lot it'll help you if you let it the staff is very sweet caring and understanding pam was my therapist so she helped me out a lot

Prestera is a wonderful mental health organization that serves the state of WV. As a CCBHC they pride themselves in giving quality care to every individual who walks through the door. There are programs that can assist with anything from severe mental health issues to social needs such as housing, and obtaining food stamps. Each department works together as a team and coordinates with other departments to ensure continuity and competent care.

I absolutely won't go anywhere else. I feel love at Prestera. The staff and the new intake team are great. They understand me and know what I need. I love it.
I will mention a few names that have helped me: Kristina Clark, Sandra Brown and Lora Morehead and Sean Riley. The are the best. I'm serious, they are great!!
