David Manahl 7 months ago We were fortunate enough to have three of the young men from U-Turn for Christ come and clear our yard of weeds and then move gravel off the yard to lay down a weed barrier (after the handyman we hired didn't bother to put one down when he spread the 1" gravel). I cannot praise the work they did enough! The yard looks immaculate and could not look any better. The three workers had so much to do and yet they finished in less than 5 hours. The staff has been amazing; frequent communication and to have the open door policy to visit was such a change from her former RTC. It's only been a few weeks since graduating the program but she is doing well. I am thankful for their work with her and recommend for parents and girls who ate struggling. The 12 step program works miracles and the people that work within the facility have first-hand experience often times with their own addiction recovery. All of the staff really want you to succeed. It’s very structured here and they hold you accountable. I am currently 7 months sober, which is the longest time I’ve ever had in the last 15 years. They helped me through substance abuse as well as my mental health struggles. My peers have always been loving and supportive. I attend the Monday night alumni meeting to keep in contact with all the friends I’ve made here during my journey. They encouraged me to get a job, and truly wanted to see me succeed. He lost the love of his life while suffering a traumatic brain injury himself and barely surviving it. After coming through it all he made the very brave decision that he needed to go to rehab. I had kept in touch with Stephen Teele, who has known my son for years, through all of this. So he gave Stephen a call and he helped get him in immediately. This has been the best thing ever for my son! They have helped him so much and have continued to do so and are able to continue to support him as long as he needs it. As for his family, we have had a few obstacles we are having to overcome right now Which have affected my son, but the staff at Decision Point have been there to help him through this also.
