The new owners of the Sedona Sky Academy are working hard every day to make a good place great. As a consultant in behavioral health, I know first-hand that they have a caring program, the students look happy, and the facility is nice. The academy is located on a beautiful 28-acre campus near Sedona with equine therapy, a mountain creek that runs through the property, and plenty of outdoor space to play. With onsite school, help with behavioral health, loving staff, and the beauty of nature, this place is a kids dream.

My daughter was spiraling downward and we had very few options left. SSA accepted her on short notice. We were hesitant but hopeful, and 6 months later she is home and doing better than I could have imagined. The staff has been amazing; frequent communication and to have the open door policy to visit was such a change from her former RTC. It's only been a few weeks since graduating the program but she is doing well. I am thankful for their work with her and recommend for parents and girls who ate struggling.

Sedona SKY Academy is under new ownership and I am very impressed with their nurturing and supportive environment. A lot of the students come to the academy after they have experienced extreme trauma, and majority of their tuition is paid by their insurance company. It is an all-girls academy, they live on campus and attend year round school.

I received all of the care I needed, it was my first time being in a place like this and I had a great experience. Going to all of the evening meetings was a good experience and the variety of the meetings were great. I also felt very comfortable here.

My family has been affected by recovery for a long time so I know good treatment when I see it. Silver Sands really cares and you can see that’s true when you speak with any of their staff. They are so clearly competent, compassionate, and determined to help anyone struggling with mental health and addiction. I highly recommend them.

I was so scared asking for help and didn’t know where to go, but this place came highly recommended. The only bad thing is that the fact that I had to leave anybody looking to get help there is not a better place to go in here. the staff is absolutely incredible. I cried more just seeing how well I was treated here than even dealing with my issues. I cannot recommend this place enough if you want help come here.

I was here for a 10 day detox. Every staff member here was incredibly compassionate, and I feel that they went to great lengths to take care of their patients. I would highly recommend this place for detox. Part of me never wants to leave. All I can say is they are truly amazing people And I will miss them all.

Scottsdale Providence is a wonderful program. Their commitment and care to my son was great. Caitlin, Lauren and all the staff were amazing. They had compassion, knowledge and understanding not only to my son but to our family as well. So grateful for this program and staff they truly care.

They taught me tools I actually use every single day. They challenged me when I wanted to shut down. They held space for me when I couldn’t catch my breath. Not once did I feel judged. I felt guided. I felt held. I felt like my life actually mattered. Scottsdale Providence didn’t just help me get sober. They gave me my life back. They gave my kids their mom back. They helped me find myself again. My Mom has been with Soul Surgery for the past 2 months. It's been truly amazing to witness her transformation & continued progression since joining. What I love about Soul Surgery is that it has provided my Mom with a stable environment to live alcohol-free, receive support and training for sober living, and encourages her freedom in creating a fulfilled and joyful life. She rides her bike every day around the city and nearby parks, chooses to meal prep her food weekly for health, enjoys fun hobbies, and is free to come and go as she pleases. She is vibrant, excited about life, and is consistently engaged in the training activities and group meetings that she attends daily. I am happy that we are able to spend time together anytime on and offsite. It was great to get together on Memorials Day for swimming & family time. It is so nice to get to visit and talk on the phone and in person. I am extremely grateful for Soul Surgery and the difference it is making for my Mom. I am literally diagnosed with chronic pain, in my back knees and feet. Have L5S1 and L4L5 sciatica, and am in so much pain, I can't even walk my dog. It's been six months of torture and no relief to find out no one cares here. They rather label you as pain seeking even with a legitimate diagnosis. Let alone when I told the pain doctor that injections have never worked and the anticonvulsant drug they have contracts to give out from Pfizer actually cause far worse side effects and if you take then for years like they want me to, and then stop, you can die. But pain meds are bad ok. You will not get any relief here and now it makes since to me why so many of us take our own lives. Cause this place is a joke. I regret ever serving. If I could go back, I'd make sure I didn't. Cause now, my reward is torturous pain, every day for the rest of my life, and they could care less. 2 years later and still they could care less, they only work here for the government paychecks thats it. Stay far away from here!!!

After reading some of the reviews, I have to AGREE!!!! The employees are not only RUDE they're RACIST AND SEXIST. I've WITNESSED some very discriminating behavior when my daughter said that she is the Veteran. Some of the hired in dependents has shown disbelief, ignorance and discriminating looks towards many other female veterans. My daughter has had to correct them many times when they assume that she was married to a service man. In this day and age women are in combat,fighting just like men. I ask that these ignorant employees be educated on the correct approach and don't just assume that all women depend on a husband's benefits. We thank our male veterans also. Be more respectful not envious of the all veterans. They make alot of sacrifices. Also the racist comments about other people. This should not be allowed by any VA employee. Keep their opinions to themselves. I will however praise the few very nice caring doctors and ex service members for their excellent hard work. Respectful of ALL VETERANS MALE OR FEMALE. CIVILIANS NEED TO ADJUST. MY DAUGHTER SERVED IN THE USN AND PROUD OF IT. I TAUGHT HER TO GET HER OWN! HAVE A BLESSED DAY!!!! BE SAFE AND BE WELL APPRECIATE THE PEOPLE THAT SERVE.

I have been coming here for over 15 years and would tell anyone struggling with opioid addiction that there is a place where you can find help and never have to suffer from debilitating pains in agony because your body is going thru withdraw and you will never have to suffer in silence trying to hide from your addiction that is always going to catch up with you so if your ready to free yourself from burden of having to chase pills and always wandering if you'll have enough to make it thru another day just hoping you can find someone who has some thing to stop those withdraws this is the place for you to find what your looking for. Methadone treatment saved my life and don't listen to what anyone tells you or what you may have heard about methadone treatment just make the call and come talk to one of the counselors to get the facts and then give it a chance because they don't expect anyone to be cured overnight but they can offer the support and start you on medication and give you more the next day and keep sticking to that plan to show up everyday youll keep getting a little bit more everyday by the end of your first week you will start to feel so much better by end of week 2 you'll be able to get a good night's rest 3rd week you won't worry because the withdraws will subside by week 4 you'll still be raising your dose but withdraws will be gone but you may still have cravings or you may not need to raise your dose any higher but whatever the case they will give you everything you need to get you drug free until you have no more cravings and you will soon wander why you waited so long to start treatment. Whatever excuses you have not to start or keep going back they can help with getting rides , filling application for access if you need help paying or can't pay they have lots of programs that might qualify you for help to get started on treatment so give them a call , you won't regret it and privacy for patience is a top priority so if your worried someone might find out like an employer or family member they do not and will not ever acknowledge if someone is or is not a patient so they can protect every person who walks thru their doors from having to worry about the choice to come there and consequences of someone finding out they make every patient sign a non disclosure agreement so if someone you know happens to show up one Day they are banned from exposing any person or patient or even talking about seeing someone while they are there for treatment so it's very discreet and you need to take a chance make the call and get your life back on track because your never to old to learn something new like how to live your life sober and happy so they will give you the tools you will need to succeed and I hope if I can convince just one person to try then these words will have been worth all it took to get them somewhere to let someone find them and if I save just one person that's enough for me and I hope to see you there one day

I had a family member go to the embers. They had an amazing experience. They had been to other types of treatment for their alcohol and drug addiction And at the embers, they got a high level of professional care and comfort that they hadn’t received before. Thank you to the embers for anybody looking. You can absolutely trust them with a family member.

During my on-site visit to Embers Treatment Center, it was clear that staff and clients were engaged, connected, and genuinely enjoying the environment. It felt like a healthy, supportive place to do meaningful work.

This is a great place. The doctors and staff were excellent, they went above and beyond. We had AC, Beautiful scenery and a nice comfy Bed. I was lucky to meet all the wonderful people who were there with me. Thank you!

I absolutely LOVE The River Source! I moved here from Arkansas and they have been so amazing helping me along my path of recovery! The people are so welcoming and i love that they encourage us all to be engaged in our community. Its just an overall amazing place to be going thru this part of life, I recommend it to everyone looking to get their lifes back on the right track!

I was able to leave this program with some of the tools needed to help in my recovery. The groups were amazing! It is set up like a small village. You have multiple houses and meeting center in the middle of them. They also take you out for trips to the park and even church on Sundays.

Been a great place to learn coping skills and its been cool to build comraderie with the other clients. Wouldnt recommend any other rehab in the area!!

Holdfast was instrumental in getting my loved one on the road to recovery. Very thankful for the faith based approach while also applying expertise in the field of addiction and recovery. A wonderful ratio of providers to patients for one on one therapy and support. My loved one left after completing a 90 day program with a plan, community and a sponsor. A new lease on life! Update: BHT Sarah reached out to me several times to let me know they were in transition for billing and reassured me my issue had been escalated. New admin Danielle, was fast and wonderful to work with. Canyon Vista has above and beyond staff members who did not stop until all issues were resolved completely. Thank you for making this right! They keep trying to charge my FSA card monthly, unauthorized. I paid up front for the detox and resedential for my spouse. My partner only spent 4 days there earlier in the year. They wont respond to my inquiries or refund me. I sent a copy of the EOB from my insurance along with proof of charging my FSA card additionally. Still no response. I really don't know what else to do. I've been given the run around and no one returns my calls.

Canyon Vista Recovery Center.... What can I say?! This place has helped so many people as well as myself get themselves back. No longer a shell of who we used to be, now an even better version of ourselves thanks to every single aspect of this place. From the amazing staff right from when you call, then being transported there for intake with such genuinely kind people. Most of which have their very own stories of recovery. The BHT's there are like no other! (I've been many places sadly) Everyone here lifts your spirits and TRULY wants to see you recover!! On one of my first stays here (yes there were a few. Takes time to get it right, I say.) I wanted to AMA simply because I was a brat that wanted her own brand of smokes and not the ones kindly GIVEN by the center. One of the lovely BHT's (who will remain nameless so they're not asked all the time...lol) went and bought me my own pack so I wouldn't leave. Tossed em to me and asked, " You staying now?" Damn right I stayed. Even the food is freaking delish! Prepared microwavables that I think were made by Gordon Ramsey himself! 🤣🤣 Then the residential program is that if which one could only dream of being in! The camaraderie, the stories and the relationships you build here are ones to take with you for a lifetime! ❤️💐 I know I've made some lifelong friends here! And the alumni meetings every Wednesday and Saturday at 6 are what I live for now! I will travel the hour from where I'm at to be there or else a zoom meeting it is! This is the place to go when you're ready to take control of your life again. You gotta want it and no review will make you sober. But when you're ready, CANYON VISTA, all the staff there and everything else it encompasses will see you through to the other side without any judgement. They are there to help you. Just ask.
