BWR has been a GREAT experience I learned a lot staff is extremely kind and helpful my counselor James has been extremely helpful caring kind nursing has been great always caring and informative on all my meds I would really recommend to anyone that is searching for help

Forget any negative reviews! This is by far THE BEST recovery center of all times! Let's start with the director... 1st off, he will insure the best after care for your well being. He is exceptionally fair. I messed up time after time and he gave me opportunity after opportunity. The rules of the program is enforced but he seen in me what I couldn't see in myself. Now the staff??? They became my family. I'm not saying any names but the RSP Supervisor cares deeply about the clients and their safety. She's like Debo who wants you to take the recovery process seriously. As far as the rest of the staff. Individually they they are not just assets to the company but essential to life. Now if I don't say anything about how good Momma Nancy feeds everyone, I would be dead wrong. When I say you get feed like Grandma back around, The food is excellent. My only complaint is that the residents messed up the coffee twice a day. Smh. Somebody broke into the coffee machine and got caught! Tip on my whole coffee operation 😁

I was there for close to 3 and a half months in 2010, Mrs. Nancy changed my life in so many ways. A strong independent woman who understood my pain had been through it herself and never judged! I think about her a lot to this day still, it's why I'm writing this now, she seen in me what everyone else has seen in me; me I still didn't see it at that point. She would play this song a lot for me to listen to it was her song to me, id cry and she say that's you you just gotta start seeing it. She even went out her way on family day to come meet my then 2 year old son and hold him saying to him, you got a strong beautiful smart mommy who lives you so much all she talks about is getting better to be the best mommy you deserve and asked him if he'd share me with her cause she loved me to and couldn't wait to see me get it that time!! She was why got through that, not disappointed her became my motivation. Mrs. Nancy you are an inspiration and almost 16 years later I still think of you and the impact you had on my life. You are a beautiful, kind, loving, and also one tough cookie who doesn't take crap from anyone at all. I hope you see this one day and pray that you remember that red haired sorta Tom boyish girl you dressed like a beautiful/hot elf at Christmas in 2009 and as baby new years afterwards because you saw a beauty in me then I couldn't see. Thank you

I signed up for outpatient treatment and the staff was very friendly very helpful and my therapistMr. Derek) a good dude, very understanding never looked down on me because of my alcohol and powdered cocaine addiction. Unfortunately, my addictions got the best of me and I relapsed and didn't return.I was so ashamed of myself I didn't want to show my face and went back to boozing and now thankfully I'm finally getting help that I need. I was admitted to Jefferson Hospital suffering from severe alcohol withdrawal syndrome, borderline experiencing auditory hallucinations. I was also suffering from gait abnormality and balance and coordination issues so they transferred me to Wyndmoor Hills for Physical therapy and once I'm discharged well before I'm discharged, I'll pick a rehab facility for inpatient treatment.Wish me luck.

I myself had an amazing experience at Gaudenzia from the moment I walked in the door everyone was very welcoming and extremely concerned for my overall well being not just my detox but also my mental state seeing that detoxing from Fentanyl and opiates takes a definite toll on my mental health as well. I found ALL the nurses to be extremely efficient and very well trained and the nurses at Gaudenzia actually really cared about how I was feeling mentally, emotionally and physically and took the time to talk to me about how I was feeling and if I was feeling safe and cared for in their family setting. My Social worker was Ms. Carnita Washington and when I was asked NOT TOLD to go and speak with her I was still experiencing withdrawal seeing it was only my second day and after sitting and talking with her I felt emotionally and physically SO much better! I've sat with many Social workers and have never felt that even one cared at all about what I was going through until a few seconds into speaking with Ms. Washington, she really cared and was very encouraging about my detox and my recovery.. The house managers were amazing as well! Each one took the time to make sure I was eating and getting on well and when I wasn't feeling confident about myself and my recovery they could just tell and took their time to talk with me and to remind me that I do have the strength to continue with what I started. I felt not only cared for but actually loved, yes I said loved! When no other facility would take me they did and all I had to do was ring the bell at the front door, oh and it was 3 am when they welcomed me in and fed me and made sure I had everything that I needed ❤️ made me very well aware of my rights as a client (which had never happened before) and after my completion staff personally walked me out, hugged me and told me that they're there if I needed them again and again ❤️ Between their professionalism and real concern and care I give Gaudenzia a five star review! I've had a rough go through addiction and have been to many detox facilities throughout the last 20 plus years and can honestly say that I found Gaudenzia to be the absolute best! If it's either you or a loved one who wants to detox and get their life back this is the place to find firm grounding into recovery! YOU can do it, you'd be very surprised to find out just how strong you really are when you have amazing people in your life. All you need to do is dig deep and find yourself again, you're still in there, I promise you ❤️ Gaudenzia will personally help you in every way, just go and do it! Blueview is a great place for PHP/IOP. The staff meets you where you’re at and I’ve felt each person working there really does care about my well being and recovery.

I wanted an addiction treatment center in PA that wasn’t one-size-fits-all. Here, they actually combined therapies and addressed the mental health side alongside substance use. That blend mattered, my anxiety was part of the picture, and they treated it that way.

My Journey to this point has consisted of 3 rehabs(not court ordered), 2 DUIs, as well as LOTS of good times, lots of travel, the best Friends and Family! A valuable life worth living! A true Alcoholic that should never ever hold or pick up a drink! Unfortunately now I'm plagued with Kidney and Liver Disease. Initially the mere thought of having a 3 hour meeting with a Therapist and small group was the LAST thing in my Vision. However I need this service for 3 months to possibly get on the Kidney Transplant List. I have grown to truly enjoy Kyle's IOP group. I look forward to it and miss it on Wednesdays and Fridays. Kyle has opened my eyes and nudged me to attend meetings. My answer turned from NO thank you, to I will give AA meetings a go. Keep in mind that I have been in and out of the Program for 20+ years. Guess what? I am enjoying AA meetings now! I dreaded them before. I am grateful to Kyle and his group for pushing me to my next step in Recovery. Such a blessing!! I have been a client at Merakey since 03-2010. So I have been clean and sober for 12 years. If you work it it will help you and work. So if you are rea8to leave the drugs behind come and give it a chance. It's not going to be easy at first I promise you it will get easier as time goes on. You will have good and bad days but that's a part of the recovery process. Please think about it before it's to late. I used to volunteer services at Teen Challenge. In 2009 the cost for the entire year was 800.00. I would assume it has increased with inflation but the information stating a cost of $12,000 monthly is inaccurate. If you need help you should consider reaching out to Teen Challenge. Lives are transformed at and through Teen Challenge, do not let the inaccurate information about the cost deter you from getting help. Also, I believe they have ways of acquiring financial assistance if needed. If you have a problem and your tired of it and / or you have been to multiple rehabs, this one is different. Don’t go back to what you know doesn’t work. Heart transformation vs’ behavior modification. Anybody can change their behavior for external reasons, like they got fired from their job, fighting with spouse, ect. and they really believe that they’ve stopped., but two months after getting a new job and the coast is clear guess what creeps back out? When there’s a transformed heart, the desires are abolished, not tucked away for later. Hearts are transformed at Teen Challenge. In 2009 the program was12 months. You might think that’s a long time. If you do nothing 5 years will fly by and you will be where you are now, or worse off, or even dead. Make a move now and imagine the endless possibilities that can happen in five years. New friends, new career, new location, clear, productive mind. Don’t wait. Do it today. “Once a man is in Christ, he is a new creation, the old is gone, and the new has begun.” 2 cor 5:17
