I’m so thankful for my care team and the women’s health clinic here is really great! I hear so many veterans complain about other VA hospitals, and I’m forever grateful that has never been my experience. Sometimes the wait is a little long for some things, but that’s understandable if it isn’t urgent (for instance I had a standard dentist appointment in May and my cleaning appointment isn’t until the end of September), but I don’t mind because I always get taken care of. I will have been at Orca for 30 days by then. This place is amazing. This is my 5th time in rehab. The counselors, nurses, and staff are amazing. This is the only place that I have been to that I feel listened to, treated like an adult, and receive excellent information and resources. Also, they let you have your phones and allow you to go out on your own when you have been here for a week. Trust me when I say that I realized, by coming here, what my greatest stumbling block has been in staying sober.
