Healing Pines is the only place you’ll EVER need! This was my first time in treatment and after a long hard look and lots of conversations with Paul, something just felt right about this place. I’m so glad i chose healing pines cause i couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. From the first day, all the way till my cone out, my experience was nothing short of amazing. The amount of activities, classes, fun, food, brotherhood and being around the most supportive staff ( on a personal level) was exactly what i was looking for. I now have tools, confidence and a whole new outlook on life that I’ll never forget. Paul and his staff have become family to me. I want to thank the entire team at HPR for changing my life in ways i could never do alone. Thank You!

This place literally saved my life. Paul and the rest of the staff are amazing people! HPR is exactly what I was looking for in a treatment center. It’s small and intimate and therefore you will get really close with the guys here. You don’t feel like you’re in a clinical setting but it’s not like you’re getting well at a resort. After learning about the lengths that Paul went to in creating this place, it speaks VOLUMES about how much he cares. The community was hesitant but he knew that this is where he was going to help people and made it happen. You will do some deep introspection and healing with your brothers. I would go and play disc golf with my therapist and he always listened intentionally to what I had to say. I miss this place!! The culture here is very special. HPR is where men go to heal and I know I have friends for life after my time in this program.
Come with an open mind and I promise you will get out of it 10x what you put into it.
Much love to Paul, Zen, Disc, Coach, Zach, Kathy and last but not least Becca! I miss you all so much!

I've been to three other inpatient rehabs before this one and two PHP and IOP programs. No other one I've been to comes close to offering what PLR does. All of the staff is phenomenal, the therapists are amazing, the grounds are beautiful, food is great, and the degree of freedom they give clients is fantastic. They helped me get to the root issues i have that caused me to keep going back to drugs and alcohol when i knew they were slowly killing me. I really can't say enough good things about them and their program

An important part of the healing journey out of addiction can be finding new ways to experience joy and fulfillment in your life so your sobriety doesn’t leave a hole that you used to fill with drugs and alcohol. That’s the benefit of Banyan Castle Rock in Castle Rock, Colorado. An essential part of the recovery journey is discovering new ways | Treatments Programs Payment Options | This is a good place to work. We’ve had some turn over, yes, but the staff I have been working with for the last 8 months is very caring and all of us work hard to ensure proper patient care and safety. Most of the patients have a very positive experience here. I am proud of our nurses, and we all respect one another. I have not heard of anyone talking badly about anyone who works here. Every place has their challenges as I have worked at a few addiction treatment centers, and Banyan is one of the best places to work. I am responding to an inaccurate review that was left on here by a scorned nurse who was let go for being confrontational with a patient, and it was so unprofessional and incorrect. We have never had lice or bed bugs and that’s 100% a lie left on here by one nurse. I have referred other nurses and they’ve all been happy to be here.

I'm here for adult inpatient. It's fine, it's pretty much the same as other mental hospitals I've been to. Staff are friendly and competent. I like how this place has snacks available for most of the day, with drink options. Most other places don't have that. My only complaint is that there's currently a woman in my ward experiencing major psychosis and she's really annoying. I feel like she should be in a more intensive unit. I went here 2 years ago. It was HORRIBLE at the time. People just automatically assumed you were faking things and it was hard to come into the hospital with tourettes. Even the nurses would say I was faking them. I really really enjoyed the recreational therapists though. All three of them were so amazing!! I carry their lessons all the way to this day! And Nick had a little tool he gave me to help me with Self harm. I am now clean and still use it sometimes to this day. I still use the music therapy lessons and the art therapy too. I remember how helpful they were. I hated being held down and helpless at the time. Now, I'm greatful they did it. I'm greatful that when I was struggling they were right there with me. Yeah I would kick and scream at the time but now I wish I could hug them and tell them how amazing they were. Also most of those techs deserve a shout out. They were MUCH better than the nurses. They were the most understanding and helpful people out there.

I have nothing but positive thoughts and love for Step Seven. I have been apart of the community for 15 months now and I can honestly say God and Step Seven saved my life. I was in a bad place and bad shape and didn’t think help existed. I gave the director a call when I got out of prison and was in a home that night. Over the 15 months I have watched my life transform. I have restored relationships, I have built a true foundation, I have real brothers who have my back, I am a brand new man. It’s not only me that this change has happened too. I’ve seen handfuls of men change their lives for the best here and I can say firsthand God loves Step Seven cause the stories I’ve witnessed of where people were to where they are now is nothing short of amazing. If you want to change your life it’s not too late and you can be freed from your addictions through the help of Step Seven.

This program changed my life. It was one hell of a journey and a struggle for me in sobriety for a long time in the program for over a year. I was angry, hopeless, and full of fear but the counselors and the others around me and the people at cornerstone saw something me that I didn’t see in myself, hope. They never gave up on me, had SO much love and patience for me even after the many times I took everything for granted and should have been told to leave and never to come back. They continued to have my back and without all my peers and the counselors continuous support I would have never made it to where I am now In my recovery. I’ve found comfort in my own skin, I’m okay with feeling my emotions, I longer feel like I’m surviving but instead I feel alive, I’ve gained a lot of confidence within, I am happy, and I love my life again and I never thought I would ever gain what I’ve gained through recovery without using drugs. I’m so grateful for what cornerstone has done for me and continue to do so.
