If I could give them negative stars I would. These guys are sneaky so watch your back! They tried to bill me for the same intake twice- but with an added description on the second one. They changed the dates of the actual appointments because my insurance denied them for trying to claim it 2 years later!! They have even claimed extra time or "established patient" repeatedly for dates and times on their own time. These are the same people that when I postponed my appointments after receiving an outrageous bill, did not call me back to establish the issue and then dropped me completely! I was on a medication that I could not just stop! When I called them on it, they told me I would have to intake and be reestablished again! I thought that was crazy for under a year, but I see I went through it 8 times apparently!!! Plus, their therapists suck.

Did not have a good experience here. Dr. Suni, the medical director wanted my son to transport his meds back and forth each week in an uber so that she can do a pill count. How dangerous is this. He could have accidentally left the meds in the uber. Not to mention, he could just dump pills to be the # she needs to see. The professional and safe way to verify if he was taking his meds would be to order a blood test. which she did not. Not to mention, they never requested his medical records from previous doctor. they took my word for the medications he was prescribed. Not smart or safe. I could have made up the meds that he was prescribed. He is not longer going to this place. Dr. Suni called in his last prescriptions and included a med that he was no longer taking. Thank goodness I keep track of this stuff and told the pharmacy no to refill this med. Goes to show, she doesn't pay attention. His therapist was not helpful at all. his sessions were short (not the full time). checking with the insurance co. as I am sure he was billed for the full time. He was also billed for sessions that he never attended. it took them a couple of weeks to correct the billing. I am also checking with the insurance company as I am sure they did not correct the billing to the insurance company. Ms. Tina had no personality at all. Not the type of person you would want to open up to. She seemed miserable. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The staff here is amazing. I’ve been to all the clinics from Dover to Seaford and this is by far the best place I’ve ever been. The methadone is eight, the staff cares actually cares! They have hot food and coffee every morning in the community center side. They advocate for the unhhoused! They help with everything and anything you can imagine. Kristi goes above and beyond for me as a counselor and Jessica is an incredible person and does the same. If any staff member sees that I’m in need. I am offered help in some form or fashion. They check on me daily to make sure I’m alright. The iop leader ma Edith is kind and full of guidance. I could not recommend a maintenance clinic more than this one. They provide.

Only times I have had issues here in the four five years is when I wasn’t making appointments or things that I could have done better . I would highly recommend Dover Behavioral outpatient to anyone. Staff is stellar in how they treat each patient who have different learning styles.
