RCA and its facilitors were exceptional. Intake and discharge was streamlined and efficient. A variety of flexible groups and speakers were scheduled weekly. Educational classes regarding medications and planning for discharge are also available. The facility provides lesiure activities such as fishing, recovery walks, and a gym. Facility was well maintained and clean. A variety of meals are offered for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a night snack. Substitute protein options are also available. RCA will meet and exceed expectations and provide all one needs for a successful recovery.

My stay at RCA Bracebridge was truly life-changing. This was my first experience in rehab, and I honestly didn’t know what to expect, but it exceeded everything I could have imagined. The groups were both educational and life-changing, providing valuable knowledge and tools that I can carry with me throughout my recovery. The staff were exceptionally supportive, caring, and informative. It was comforting to know that someone was always there whenever I needed help or support. My therapist, Jessica V., is amazing, and I will never forget her. Mr. Dan, Mike H., Mrs. Jessie, and Mrs. Amber were also incredibly supportive and generously shared their knowledge and experience, which made a meaningful difference in my recovery. The RSS staff were outstanding, and words cannot fully express my gratitude for everything they did. The kitchen staff, especially Eric, went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. That support allowed us to focus on what mattered most—our recovery. Mr. Tariq always listened and showed genuine care and compassion toward the clients. His kindness and willingness to be there for us meant a lot. I will forever be grateful to RCA Bracebridge for helping save my life and giving me the coping skills and tools I need to continue recovering one day at a time. I am leaving with gratitude, hope, and a renewed commitment to my recovery. Thank you to everyone who played a part in this journey

Exceptional rehabilitation center - I miss this place most days!

Ashley Treatment Center offers a genuinely strong overall recovery program in many ways. The campus is beautiful, peaceful, and clearly designed to support healing. The food is excellent and far better than you would expect. My loved one is sad to miss the daily menu. The facility also accepts a wide variety of insurances, and we are thankful that our insurance covered the entire program. Most importantly, the majority of the staff were kind, supportive, and professional, and my loved one had positive interactions with nearly everyone he encountered. Except one. Unfortunately, our experience was significantly impacted by one therapist: Donna J. While the rest of the staff showed compassion and skill, Donna repeatedly treated my family member with disrespect. She told him to “stop exaggerating” during a session where he was emotionally dysregulated; she raised her voice and even waived her finger in his face on another occasion. Instead of de-escalating emotional moments (as a counselor in a treatment center should) she often escalated them further, making sessions more distressing rather than therapeutic. During the one visitation family members are allowed (something to be addressed later in this review), I spoke with several of Donna’s patients who shared similar concerns. Some had successfully been transferred to different therapists, but for reasons never explained, Ashley would not allow my loved one to transfer, leaving him stuck with this dynamic for the entirety of the program. Even as he was leaving, Donna chose to interact negatively, asking him what he wrote about her on the exit survey, and when he said he chose not to leave comments, she called him a “jive turkey”. It was unprofessional and frankly a bizarre way to end a month-long treatment stay. I later learned that earlier in the year, she had been recognized as a finalist for having the “greatest percentage increase in clients’ Global Recovery Scores.” While that sounds impressive, it can also simply mean someone started at the bottom and improved from there, a Most-Improved Player award, if you will. Based on our experience, this recognition does not reflect her ability to work with emotionally dysregulated individuals or those in vulnerable stages of recovery. Outside of this one staff member, my loved one had no issues with any of the other 50+ employees he interacted with. The rest of the team was consistently supportive and very helpful to him. A few additional notes for families considering Ashley: • The 28-day program includes only one visitation weekend, during week three. • The cost is steep: $1000 for one visitor, plus $500 each for each up to two additional visitors. • Scholarships do exist, though they are not advertised. I requested one and received a 75% discount, but the application process required extensive documentation, similar to applying for government assistance. • The two-day family program is well-intentioned and has a thoughtful schedule, but the execution felt uneven. There were long stretches were the staff were disengaged or unclear about next steps, and I would have appreciated more active guidance and interaction. Overall: Ashley Treatment Center offers a strong program, excellent environment, and mostly wonderful staff. But the experience with Donna was deeply harmful and inconsistent with the quality of care provided by the rest of the team. Families should be aware of the visitation costs and be prepared to advocate firmly if a therapist mismatch occurs.

I bring my family member here I want to show some appreciation to the facility the are very helpful staff is nice. I must also give a shout out the the red head woman at the front desk sorry I don’t remember her name but she is nice always smiling and quick at her job I would highly recommend anyone who needs help to come here

They actually listen to you and know what they're doing, they don't just take notes and do what they were going to do anyway, they actually cater to your specific circumstances, let you give input, take that into account, and adjust your treatment accordingly, I've had so many bad experiences with other clinics, so I'm glad I finally found this place! Also, the pink haired Lady at the front desk will remember your face and add you into the dosing queue the second you walk through the doors. She's super fast and good at her job but lady I wanna say GOOD MORNING to you! like... please. you're super good at your job but let me say good morning and say it back to me. I'm not trying to make conversation. I just want to say good morning. 😊😊😊

Compassionate Care I can’t say enough good things about the VA Hospital in Wilmington, DE, and the care they provided to my stepdad. From the moment he received treatment, the staff showed genuine compassion, patience, and professionalism. They treated him with dignity and respect and made sure he felt cared for every step of the way. Our family truly appreciated the time, attention, and kindness shown by the doctors, nurses, and entire staff. It meant a lot to know that my stepdad was in the hands of people who genuinely cared about his well-being. Thank you to everyone at the Wilmington VA for the outstanding care you provide to our Veterans and their families. Your dedication makes a real difference, and we are truly grateful. I've been driving my father here, several times a year, for quite some time now. Staff is always welcoming, the doctors, in any field, always speak with my father like they've been friends for years & making sure he knows exactly what to expect before, during & after his procedure/surgery. Athough it's a hike from the Atlantic City area, the doctors & staff make the drive worth it every single time. I'm actually here now & although there's a bit of a wait, it's still comforting knowing my father will be in good hands.

Earlier today I realized I was out of medication while traveling. This VA hospital got me exactly what I needed. It took a little time because their travel liaison was out of office so I had to go to their ER, and they were on a different system than my home VA, but I really appreciated their dillagence. Literally saved my brain from imploding on itself and were so patient!

Harbor of Grace made me realize so many things about my life and the impact of all the trauma I endured in 25 yrs of policing. It set me on a new path in life and I’m thankful to the staff and to George for helping me through it all. As the great philosopher Seneca said - As fire tests gold so misfortune tests brave men.

They completely changed my life. It helped me heal from years of trauma. I feel like I have a new lease on life.

Great place, I learned so much from the older people there and it helped me mature and grow in an amazing way. Bri and Lauren were incredible and group sessions were mixed with open sharing and activities to shift your mind to something else. I joined evening and morning classes and both were great.

As for me this was the first rehab I completed Overall the Tecs were helpful and relatable with real insight about their addiction and how they overcame it and their responses were real talk The case management were helpful into getting you to the next phase that fits you The counselors gave real information from insight not from paper work they helped break information down so you could understand and feel it Medical was on point and treated you with respect and talked to you like a person The CEO walks around and talks to you like he understands and any problems he takes care of right then and there This place helps you get the help you need if you want it Even with all the BEAUTIFUL females around their gives you motivation cause your gonna want someone similar in style attitude body wise and everything It was the perfect place at the perfect time for me and I would love to thank not just one person but All and I'll want everyone that's want help it's there if want it Thank You All.
