Met some good people at the circle, both people getting help and the group leaders. They used to have a good community and everyone was cool with each other and you could get help with mental illness. They even had a person make eggs, pancakes, bacon and coffee in the morning that you could pay for and they even provided a lunch too. I guess funding for The Circle has gone down and it's not the same. Way less people now.

After 4 or 5 failed attempts to stop abusing alcohol I wound up at MARR. The day after my 50th birthday. I was extremely upset and disappointed with myself. But something told me that I belonged there. And I made the best decision of my life. To stay there. I stayed for the mandatory 3 months and then an extra four more. Not only did I learn to stop drinking and live life without alcohol, but I leather be an adult. To ask for help. And most importantly I learned that I was not alone in my life or my journey. Wonderful place with great staff. You may not know it or believe it but this place is the BEST chance you have at getting sober and learning how to live a good life. Period.

My time at MARR has fundamentally changed my life. I have a strong foundation in sobriety, many coping tools in my toolbox and a large network of sober men and women who I will forever call friends. I especially love the Professionals Program (ARP) where I participated in Mirror Image classes, working with peers who had overcome their addiction and achieved the life I wanted to be living. Recovery is truly one day at a time and MARR is the best place to make each day count.

I’ve worked in the behavioral health field for 10 years across two different companies, and my experience the last two years with Hope Harbor Wellness and its affiliates has been exceptional. The owners lead with integrity and their commitment to compliance and attention to detail is evident in every part of the organization. They also genuinely care for their employees, and when staff feel supported, it naturally elevates the compassionate care provided to clients. Hope Harbor operates with a high ethical standard and truly preserves the sacred and sensitive nature of substance abuse treatment. I’ve referred family and friends here because I trust the quality of care, and I will continue to do so. Highly recommend.

I wanted to write a review to say how thankful I am to this facility and the incredible team (special shout out to my therapist Angela and Josh )who work here. Upon arrival I was going through it. From the very beginning the staff welcomed me with compassion, respect, and patience. Not only did they provide incredible treatment- they provided me with a family-like support. I felt understood, safe, and valued. The therapists and facilitators earnestly listened and helped me navigate through the most difficult time of my life . Thanks to them I made progress and built confidence, learned healthier ways to cope, and began to learn how to love myself. I never felt alone, and felt encouraged and cared for each and every step of the way. Hope Harbor Wellness- helped restore my life. Thanks to them I left with clarity. hope, and a strong sense of who I am. If someone you know or you yourself are struggling , I wholeheartedly recommend Hope Harbour Wellness. Their dedication and compassion make all the difference.

I really appreciate the workers at this hospital. They are kind, accomodating and respectful. I didn't feel condescended to, nor treated like less of a human being. I felt that the workers set a tone of respect and dignity and support on the unit. The groups were awesome and very well facilitated. I felt like they weren't just there for a paycheck, that they actually cared about doing a good job. I would definitely go back there if I ever need mental health inpatient care.

It was a safe place during my most suicidal years. I really appreciated the ability to isolate in my room, unlike other facilities that lock the rooms during the day. That was a necessity for me as an autistic person, in order to prevent overwhelm and truly feel safe. Therapy groups could be stressful, but I wasn't forced to attend which I really appreciate. When life feels so out of control, small things like that can go a long way

I cannot say enough great things about this program. It is life changing for kids and parents. When I discovered this on an internet search among a sea of other places that did not have the focus on young adults like this website, I strongly felt lead here by God. I’m grateful daily for the help it has given my family. The statement, it takes a village to raise kids has never been more appropriately said for the Insight program. The staff are caring, dedicated, and funny. They make finding your path fun and supportive without the Kids even realizing at first what a transformative environment they have been welcomed into. This place becomes family and the Kids support their peers while all get guidance no matter the hour from the counselors. They are dedicated and truly care what happens to you. 🥰

Newport Integrated Behavioral Healthcare provides mental health care and addiction recovery support for children, teens, and adults in Decatur, Georgia. You can find many different levels of support here, including residential detox and different types of outpatient services. They accept private pay, commercial insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare. S
Newport is a good place to Detox at. They accept most insurance and can set you up with a bed over the phone. They support MAT but I brought my own supply so I can’t speak on theirs. They gave me a 5 day benzodiazepine taper and vitamins/supplements, along with my normal meds. The intake process was simple, you get shook down a bit upon entering the clinical area, they look through your things and your person. They do a urine test, TB stick, and take blood on day 2. I would suggest bringing a weeks worth of clothing, warm stuff, pajamas, house shoes, shower shoes are a must, reading material, writing material, recovery books, you will need an extra pillow or 2, bring your own blanket and basic toiletries-they can supply hygiene items if necessary, cigarettes / tobacco, you can’t bring vapes, no phones. The bathroom was a lil nasty but the showers were clean and functional as well as private. The place is a bit dingy and old feeling overall and could use paint and decor. The bedrooms have a window and 2-3 twin beds with divider curtains between each, and 2 nightstands/shelves. You get fresh clean pillow cases, blankets, sheets, towels, washcloth. The beds aren’t great but they’re not the worst I’ve seen. You can come and go from your room to the Dayroom or nurses station as you please. There is a landline phone available during certain hours. I was there with 5-6 other folks. I had a relapse on stimulants and was admitted a few days after calling. Nurse Ginny spoke to me on the phone and she was very kind and experienced. The nurses were great, Rose was the best. The daytime started with a meal from Piccadilly, these to go plates were so-so. Some were better than others. But the portions were big. You also get a snack every night at night med call. We would then do groups, they had a good variety. Some were videos some were activity based some writing based, etc. The counselors were all nice people and qualified. The aftercare coordinator Joy that worked with me was super friendly and helpful. They can also set you up with part time classes to attend on site after you graduate detox, or send you to an inpatient residential treatment center, then halfway house. They’ll take you all the way if you put in the work, they have the connections and knowledge to help people in tons of ways. Take advantage of people like this, they live to help others. They could use a new DVD player and some DVDs and Blu rays for sure, and art supplies. Overall it’s a good place to get clean. The intake process was smooth and the place itself was solid, programs and everything. Food, beds, and the paint/decor, as well as the men’s bathroom are my only complaints. I had a room to myself the whole time I was there, and got a lot of writing and some reading done. Played some cards and watched some movies. My time there really helped me a lot in my recovery journey. I use Smart Recovery and have gotten deep into the program since leaving detox. They offer AA, NA, and other support groups as well. If you are battling addicting and need help, reach out, this is a good jumping off point. It’s all up to you.

Dr. Moseri is very knowledgeable and beyond qualified for what he is doing. My experience with him is not just for mental adjustment. He has shown to be knowledgeable as a physician as well. I thank the Most High for him. Since seeing him I have learned to manage my emotional feelings, and I am more aware of my physical health which had a great impact on my cognitive mindset. The negative comments that are on here are mind-blowing. But keep in mind, majority of the patients and or guardians of patients seeking help are in a negative space in life anyway. Trying to use negativity to charge your positive seems not to work. When you seek help, submit to what's being put before you and Yah will do the rest to help bring you out. I pray healing and well-being for us all.

My therapist is Gabby and psych is Dr. Hill, both exemplary human beings! They are down to Earth, real people who care. The front desk ladies are soooo kind and the pharmacist greets you with an understanding smile. If you need help, these human beings are here to do just that. Situations can be frustrating in life. This AMAZING place is honestly the best of all, hands down. From the doctor, director Jennifer, miss Holly amazing nurses especially Yolanda, and many more especially when you are recovering in recovery the amazing counselor's , such as sweet, caring, and supportive while REALLY LISTENING AND KEEPING IT REAL and making you feel comfortable and in a safe place is just a big perk in recovery. Counselor/therapist Ames. Adrienne has really helped me with so much. But I do want anyone who is reading this that knows someone or if you are struggling with addiction and ready to live a good life if you are scared to do it cold turkey or don't have the support or financial to pay for rehab or detox and all that this is the best place to do it and recovery can happen in all different forms cold turkey clinics Suboxone and it doesn't matter what you do as long as you do it and make a difference in your life and better yourself but this is the place to go and is a great option if you're open to it and ready to do it just make sure you're open ready and you want it and I encourage you that this clinic is the clinic for you or anyone if you know anyone struggling . And they also take health insurance and offer a new health insurance called ambetter that will cover all costs as well so reach out if you need to and make a change start it today. Thanks you to everyone Your clinic really has great team in every department.

I arrived at Anchor based on a recommendation from a family friend, and I’m genuinely grateful for the care and attention I received. From what I observed, the facility is staffed with a readily available medical team, a generous culinary crew, and knowledgeable administrators. Even though I walked in at a very low point, I was greeted with intention and genuine care. Throughout my four-day stay, I was fed well, treated with respect, and given tools that helped me feel more prepared once I left. And while not every moment was easy — it is a mental hospital, after all — the staff consistently responded quickly and worked to make things right whenever challenges came up. My doctor, Dr. Lunceford, was attentive and truly engaged, asking thoughtful questions based on our conversations rather than just going down a checklist. Everyday we would have multiple therapy classes both outside and inside. The social workers also did a wonderful job of keeping patients informed of their rights and the facility’s processes. They reminded us that Anchor’s role was to “plant, water, and prune” so we could be better prepared for the days ahead. Overall, my experience was positive, and I’m thankful for the support I received during a difficult time. Thank you!

This center has literally saved my family. Melissa is a top notch therapist and calls out any bull. The clinic has helped my daughter and kept her from relapsing. They closely monitor the client. I can't say enough great things! If you have a loved one fighting addiction, I highly recommend them.

This clinic absolutely saved my life! ✝️ I know people say that a lot about certain things throughout their lifetime but this is 100% true for my case. Melissa is one of the best therapists I've ever had. She calls you on your BS and is understanding about addiction. I hate it when I get a therapist who doesn't know jack about addiction especially with heroin and opiates. I will continue to come here as long as I can. I'm so thankful for NFTC and all of its staff! Thank you guys!! Honestly, from the bottom of my heart! 🩵🙏☺️💞👏🥰🧡 If you or your family is struggling with addiction this is the best place to go by far to help save your life!
